Fourtrees #10

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings. Also, there is a small opening in the rock with a space big enough for many small pups to fit into.

Brokenglare walked calmly in. Her body seemed somehow heavy to her. It might have been like that after too much thinking of all kinds of theories. She sat down by a tree and looked around, as thought, Crookedjaw had arrived there way before her. She waited patiently for a leader to speak up.

Ravenclaw noticed the wolf beside him. He blinked and lifted his head. He studied her,then quickly lost interest. He yawned and laid his head back on his paws. His tail twitched. "And you are?"

Brokenglare turned her head to the side as she heard somebody talk. Her gaze met a dark-coated wolf. "Oh, I'm Brokenglare.", she answered to his question. Her mind was that busy thinking about other stuff that the simple answer was all she could come up with for the moment. She turned her head back and held back a sigh of exhaustion.

Ravenclaw flicked his ears in acknowledgment,but decided to keep quiet. He sighed with relief. At least its quieter then the last one. He winced as he remembered the sound of the loud-stick. "Hmm,too bad someone was hit...."

Crookedjaw saw brookenglare. HE walked over to her. "Hi Broken" He smiled with his jaw.

The handsome male grinned down at hollypup nudging her with his muzzle before shooting a grin at Scarletsoul. Feeling a gaze on him he turned and stared at a brown wolf (fernshade) and flicked his ears back a little. He breathed in and out before staring back up at the highrock for a few moments, his tail swished as he leant over and whispered in scarlets ear "that brown wolf dosent like me much"

Ravenclaw glanced at the male. He shrugged and turned his back to them. That Windclanner was hit right? Wonder what happened to her... He yawned and smacked his lips.

Fernshade felt more eyes on her. Though,she completely ignored them. She kept her eyes trained on the Thunderclanner. (Oragamiheart)
She narrowed her eye against the moon-light. "You gonna answer?"

Scarletsoul smiled watching the two siblings and flicked her tail at Otter's comment. "Fernshade? I guess not." She replied and looked around. More wolves had entered the clearing and Scarlet had to close her eyes for a moment to focus. She didnt handle large groups particularly well and was glad they were sat nearer the edge rather than in the middle of the wolves.

The young warrior prodded the female with his nose "are you ok Scarletsoul?" his voice was slightly worried for the elegant young fae. The brute blinked his chocolate brown eyes and trained them on the brown and white female before him. he tilted his head to the side waiting and watching.

Creekfire had stayed behind the brush, his bear pelt plan still forming in his mind. Finally, the handsome gray warrior emerged, his amber eyes widening slightly in surprise how fast the clearing was swelling. The large brute sat down a few feet away from the stark-white apprentice, watching silently.

Emberfeather approached the clearing. Her vibrant orange eyes scanned her suroundings, managing to pick out the black pelt of Shadowlight. Weaving her way through the mass of wolves, the russet fae soon padded up to her friend. Her eyes remained on her swollen belly before glancing back up at her face. She sat down, her wrapped paw tucked close to her chest protectivly. "So, when are they due?" the ThunderClan warrior asked, smiling.

Scarletsoul looked up as Otter asked if she was okay and she nodded. "Yea, I'm fine. Just..." She trailed off and shook her head. "Doesn't matter. How are things in ThunderClan?" the pretty fae asked, changing the subject. She had noticed the hint of worry in his voice and she shot the handsome brown and white male a grateful yet somewhat longing glance, though tried to hide it.

He noticed the glance and returned it his heart thudding in his chest like a stampede of deer, he murmured "pretty dull, Echochime gave birth to stormchasers pups and Storm seems to think that im a sunclan wolf" he shot a glare at stormchaser before he returned his chocolatey gaze to the fae before him. his tail quivering.

Scarletsoul perked her ears at the mention of new pups and she nodded in understanding. "Well, my congratulations to Echochime." She barked, casting a glance over to the ThunderClan female before looking back to Otter. She was about to point out his parents were Sunclan but quickly bit her tongue remembering Otter's strong dislike towards Ripplestar and Stoatblaze. "Just ignore him I guess. You may have no choice to listen but that doesn't mean you have to agree with what he says." Scarlet commented and shuffled her paws as she thought.

Whitestorm looked over to creekfire as he nodded to him. "Hello there Creekfire." The white male said, "I have good news." The male said swiftly walking over, as he hadn't seen creekfire since the were suppose to hunt he probably hadn't heard that he's daughter was going to be a medicine wolf.

Creekfire pricked an ear. The handsome male turned his head, spotting his good friend Whitestorm approaching. "Good news? What is it?" The large gray brute was intrigued, and he was curious.

The white male gave a dashing smile, as he was also proud of what twistedpaw had achieved as they were close friends. "Well Twistedpaw is at moonstone and she will be becoming the clan medicine wolf, due to Owlscreech stepping down to become an elder." The male said in he's casual invinting tone.

Creekfire's face lit up. "Twistedpaw is becoming a Medicine Wolf? Wow, that's great news!" His tail wagged from side to side in excitement. His chest swelled with pride for his daughter.

Whitestorm looked around the clearing everything had gotten quiet now, and the stormclan nor the windclan leaders have arrived. He wondered where everyone else was. "Yeah she's gonna have one of lunalight's pups as her apprentice I think." The male continued as he looked at the moon.

Moonshadow noticed the gray wolf with odd markings nearby. She studied him carefully,not blinking her royal blue eyes. He looks like he's crying. She snorted. And depressed.

Creekfire nodded in approval. "Well, I hope everything goes well." He, too, noticed the sudden silence. His sleek gray tail swishing slowly, he raised his mussel to the sky, scanning the stars for any sign of Sparrowheart.

Echochime looked down to her eldest daughter. The dappled pup had pressed close to the young queen, her eyes clouded with much emotion. The stunned, shocked, wonderstruck expresion that her dsughter held made Echochime smile. She had been like that too when she was little. The queen wrapped her tail around Firepup to comfort her in her state of shock.
"Just stick by me." She said quietly in her daughters ear.

Origmaiheart perked his ears to the sound of a wolfs voice directed towards him. Ori instantly stood up and backed away from her. He shook his head, no he wasn't going to answer. Carefully he backed away, his tail firmly tucked between his legs and his ears flat against his head, as he backed up farther into the shadows avoiding Fern's gaze.

Fernshade sighed and lowered her ears. "Why so coy? I'm not going to judge you or anything." She yawned. "Relax,its a gathering." She turned back to the clearing. "Its where we gather." She glanced back up at him and frowned. "Its in the word."
