Suggestion about "events"

woot okay.

So I really like how this pack always has some engaging event going on in the Roleplay, be it a gathering or some event like the carnival/dream thing, but I honestly think its time to chillax with everything for a while. They're fun and all and I appreciate all the hard work/plotting that goes into them, but I think all these big events are getting very repetitive and we could slow everything down for a while. I've only been in the clans for about a month now, and in that time we've gone through a gathering/the dream sequence thing, the carnival, and now another gathering is coming up. I've had almost no time at all to Roleplay back in regular clan territory, and the time that everyone has always seems to be in really short snatches, so there pretty much is no time at all to really "engage" in the roleplay or get anything done, persay.

You also have to think, it has to be very frustrating to new members who join during one of these events or people who make a new character during these times, because most seem to choose to just wait the event out, and heck, if it drags on for too long, one may just get fed up and become inactive all together. Basically, I'm just suggesting that we have a grace period with all these events, after this upcoming gathering. They sorta interrupt Roleplay and really get annoying after a while, especially if one is having fun/interacting with some other member in regular clan Roleplay.

Yeah, at least I (Shadestar) knew about this. The next gathering wasn't being planned as a special event, just a gathering, as far as I know.

We have other non-special-plot things being planned ;D In the coming events, whenever they happen, we will probably have a time limit and be shortened to a week or a little over that just to speed things up.

Well I think it would be actually enjoyable to have a regular gathering. Then we could actually share news. Such as new apprentices, warriors and the new leaders.

@ shade - thats good. I'm just tired of everyone having to get involved in some big event, because its annoying when you've actually got something going on back in regular camp. Events are fun, as long as they're kinda sparsely spread out and not in some rapid succession like everything else has been.

@ rain - ye, the next gathering sounds fun, I'm just glad its gonna be a "regular" gathering.

I think we should slow down a little. I know what it feels like to join near an event - it can be confusing and it's nice just to do some regular RolePlay for a little longer.
