Sandy slope

EbonyFur smiled at her apprentice's enthusiasm. "We start with hunting moves."she said. "You know how to pounce. Use that little nose of yours to sniff out prey."she grinned. "Once you get a scent. Go after it."she said.

EbonyFur winced as her stomache started to hurt. "I think my pups are coming. We'll have to postphone this session for another time. I'm sorry."said the she. The fae limped off back to camp. She couldn't wait for Rainpaw.

-SC camp-

Thunderfang walked up to the sandy slopes and waited for his apprentice. his gaze drifted around the area, wondering what to tell her and what not to tell her. rounded ears pointed backwards, ready to catch any sound of Scaarletpaw or anything else. Thunder face lightened as he heard her coming.

Scarletpaw padded into the area, her eyes wide as she took in her surroundings. Spotting her mentor, her face lit up with happiness and she scampered over to him, nearly slipping down a slope. "What's THIS place?" she asked him once she'd managed to scramble over.

The brute looked back at his small apprentice and smiled, "These are the sandy slopes. A sandy patch of earth in the clans territory, plenty of insects hang around here attracting birds and other animals that the wolves can hunt." Thunder smiled, "Just watch out for the ants." He began walking forward as he explored with Scarlet.

Scarletpaw nodded and instantly jumped at the mention of ants. The small animals made her fur crawl and she didn't like them all too much. Spotting a small mound over to the side of her, Scarlet scampered over to it and started to sniff at it. When an ant crawled out, she leapt back with a squeal of amusement. "Come here you!" she barked and pounced on the small animal, killing it.

thunderfang smiled with amusement and shook his head. He sniffed around, his ears twitching to any unwanted scents or sounds. He glanced over at Scalretpaw, "Ready to keep going? We're going to skim through the territory, so as to get training started."

The brown and cream warrior walked up and watched the two, with a flick of her ears she leapt aiming to land on thunderfangs back. she grinned mischeviously. her fur blew as she soared through the air.

Thunderfang's ears twitched, a slight unease as he looked around. He felt something watching him, and as he searched for the source, he angled his ears back. Short, shallow an almost contained breath suspended in the air. Thunderfang had only seconds to think of what to do, so he simply side stepped and took a step back, out of the creatures reach. He turned to look at what it was, and saw Tigerfern. the male shook his head and smiled.

Landing on her paws she grinned at her best friend and laughed "quick thinking thunderfang!" she shook out her brown fur and trotted on the spot excitedly "i cant believe that we are warriors!" she burst out with laughter and happiness. she perked her ears at scarletpaw and her expression sombered and she groused "yeah its awesome"

Scarletpaw nodded as Thunderfang suggested heading off but was surprised when a wolf came hurling at him from nowhere. Seeing it was Tigefern, she relaxed though was a little confused as to her tone when she finished speaking. Guess I'm not welcome here, she thought and looked at her paws. "Congratulations on becoming a warrior Tigerfern." She barked realising she hadn't had the chance to congratulate the warrior before-hand.

Thunderfang smiled at seeing Tigerfern and smiled, "Mhmm. It is hard to believe." He grinned and looked at Scarletpaw. A shadow of mischief took his handsome features over, "So my two pretties, we will continue on. Tigerfern you are more than welcome to come along, but remember not to steal the show from my apprentice eh?" His voice laced with humor and kindness held not even a sliver of a trace of harsh meaning. with a swift wink, he motioned with his head for them to keep going.

Tigerfern blinked and said "thanks" to Scarletpaw the warrior didnt have anything against the young apprentice she just didnt open up to anyone apart from Thunderfang. she ruffled her cream and brown fur on her shoulders and asked "Where are we headed?" in a curious tone.

Thunderfang glanced at them both, before thinking about it. "We'll head to the gorge..." He spoke quietly. Last he had been to the gorge, not only had Direstar died but they had been attacked by a cougar. He didn't mention this to them though.

-Gorge

Scarletpaw bowed her head as Tigerfern thanked her and she shuffled her paws. She jumped up to her feet at the mention of setting off somewhere else and the apprentice wondered where they were going to go next. The Gorge?, she thought, Cool. Twitching her tail excitedly she ran after her mentor and Tigerfern.

-Gorge-

She followed the others a twinge of nervourseness in her movements. she knew that direstar had killed himself in the gorge. she flicked her creamy brown tail and continued on ignoring her fear. her yellow eyes hardened, she remembered that her own father had diedthere. the gorge was nothing but death
-gorge

Aurorapaw trotted up puffing a little, her eyes looked around for the pretty starburst flowers that were borage. she trotted over to it and sniffed it carefully "do we pick the flowers or the green leaves". She tilted her head and looked over at her mentor with her curious purple eyes.

The gray apprentice nodded and began carefully collecting the green leaves of the Borage plant. Her tail swishing as she carefully picked it. After she had a mouthfull she turned and depostited it neatly at her mentors feet. Her gray fringe fell into her eyes again.

Aurorapaw perked her ears and whispered "thanks Fawnlight" her voice was gentle and quiet. She dipped her head and nibbled at the delecious prey. she made a happy noise and sat down looking up at her mentor she said "thats good! will you teach me how to do that?"
