Phoenixstar waited patiently at the old sycamore, his orange eyes glittering a little, he flicked his ears and listened patiently. his paws resting on the snow, shivering a little as the snow began to fall he wished that his pelt was actually fire so it could keep him warm.

Bramblepaw bounded up to catch up with his mentor, excited he finally had become an apprentice. Even better was that his mentor was Clan Leader! His mottled pelt blended in with the surroundings except for the gentle fall of January snow. The brute entered the clearing quietly behind Phoeinxstar and padded forward and tried not to make a sound. Maybe he could impress his mentor first day by sneaking up on him?
