StarClan

First topic message reminder :

I think we should be able to role-play wolves in StarClan. I mean, then when a new leader is elected, some of those wolves could give the leaders nine lives. They would be able to send dreams, prophecies, and stuff to the Clan wolves[they would have to ash Shadestar before giving the prophecy and signs]. When there is a time of need, StarClan wolves could help in battle, and Medicine Wolves could visit StarClan each moon. I have added a poll and I'll remove it if it's needed. ^_^

That's true. And it would be a good idea. But the Starclan account can just give the messages. And that Darkforest thing,we already have the Azule or whatever on the fourm

I don't understand the point of RPing a Starclan wolf. What is there for them to do, really?

True. Perhaps this could be an idea for when the site expands and such. And StarClan wolves/ Darkforest wolves could be optional. You wouldn't have to rp your dead characters all the time, but it would be more of a calming thing. I thought it would be cool if the StarClan/Darkforest wolves could visit other members in dreams and in the territories and stuff. They wouldn't be a main focus of RolePlay, for now at least.

Its a cool concept, but too hard to regulate imo. Some people could potentially abuse their 'powers' as a Starclan/Darkforest wolf and start running around spewing prophecies that make no sense/dont fit in with the current plotline. And either way, if all there is to do is skip down to the clans and deliver meaningless dreams to random members every once and a while, how is that any fun/whats the point?

Yes, the account can send prophecies, etc. But what about just an rp area for the two. I mean theres nothing big to it or anything to be cautious about. They would be rping in Starclan while the living rped in their territories. I see nothing wrong with this idea.

But what is there to do?

The account would send prophecies.
And it would be like RPing in a territory; like in the books it is always Newleaf in Starclan. There is also prey in Starclan. Old frirnds catching up, dramatic plots; perhaps a Forbidden Romance between a Starclan warrior & a Darkforest warrior? Just use your imagination!

Prophecies are already sent by the official StarClan account, aint it? Besides, if Starclan/Dakforest wolves were given free will to send out prophecies whenever they wanted, that would be a problem. Prophecies would have to be approved, which, IMO, sounds like too much work, or else junk would be happening that would have no place with the plot at that time.

Shadestar could approve it. OR: Shadestar tells them a prophecy and they have to word it?? Anyways, I think it would be fun. StarClan wolves could give the leaders nine lives and choose the destined deputy; even if the leader doesn't pick them.

uhmm, how is the deputy of a clan any of Starclan's business? Thats for the leader of the clan to decide, not wolves that would normally have no say in the matter less they were dead. Nine lives thing is a cool idea, I like that.

[Spoiler warning] Graystripe was destined to be deputy by StarClan, wasn't he? Whitestorm got picked, however, and didn't he say that he knew Graystripe was destined?? I've never read the books, but I know that, but might be wrong.[End of spoiler.]

Then, if that was the case, wouldn't StarClan be somewhat involved??

dunno, havent read the books in years. regardless, i dont think starclan should have that big an influence on the clans (if it gets implemented) if any influence besides the dreams/prophecies idea aforementioned. we arent based 100% off the books, and deputies/leaders also also picked on here with more of a 'is this person suitable for the job' mindset rater than just basing it off roleplay actions. i dont think starclan should be able to make influences and decisions like deputies/other special ranks.

Actually, there could be plenty of things for StarClan wolves to do. After clearing it with character owners and maybe Shade, depending on the thing, they can:

@Give advise to living characters
@Visit in dreams or in the living world
@Visit Medicine Wolves and their apprentices in dreams and such
@Visit wolves at the Moonstone
@Perhaps form prophesies in a special StarClan section of the forum, and that could also affect the Monthly events as well.
@Send omens (you know, like when the Medicine Wolf Apprentice has been chosen irl then they could send an omen or something, like a goose feather or whatever)
@Visit their StarClan buddies and have a gentle, peaceful and relaxing RP when they aren't involved in the RP.

i agree with Feathersoul that sounds like it could work and it wouldnt be too much work and it is too complicated.

Yeah that's all true. But,we don't need to do the prophecies. Starclan/Shadestar can do that. And prophecies can be sent to Starclan so he can tell them.

Mhmm. Darkforest could do pretty much everything StarClan did, but they could train wolves like in the book maybe. Ooh, perhaps this could make a good plot line for something?

And I also already said the deceased wouldn't be sending the prophecies and that the Starclan account would. This would just be addition to the site, I honestly dont get why theres a problem with it lol.

Well, the StarClan account would send the prophecies and stuff, but there might be little things that don't exactly affect the main plot and more than a few character's lives that StarClan members could send.
