Greenleaf, prey is once more plentiful. The forests and Moors are filled with tasty nibbles of prey while the river is almost choked with fish. |

| hey guys, so my character Toadpup is a total tree hugger, and i wanted to see if we could make it so some wolves could have familiars? For example perhaps medicine wolves only? or we would have to petition the moderators to see if one could have a pet? what do yall think? well more companions than pets | |

| Well, maybe like a companion. You know, like if you find a stray cat in real life and pet it a bit or give it some food it will start to follow you around. I could see how that might work, but it would be an unrealistic thing. I say that you would have to pay a good amount and fill out a form about what type it is, what it eats and its habits, etc. I mean, wolves don't need to be walking around with a falcon on their shoulder who kills all their prey for them and attacks at battles. It would need to be small things, like if maybe a small mouse takes a liking to you and starts hiding in your fur, etc. | |

| I would like this, but it seems unrealistic. I'm not saying its a bad idea, but this is a realistic wolf role-play. Beside the part where they have 9 lives and the moonstone, that sort of thing. | |

| I voted no. I don't really like the idea of the wolves having pets/followers/familiars. TFC is already highly unrealistic [wolves using herbs, having these kinds of ranks, getting prophecies/dreams etc] but I mean those are all key components of the books that TFC was based off of, adding in pets and all seems like is crossing some kind of boundary. It would be too much work, anyway - as Feather suggested, purchasing familiars would probably come along with the responsibility of filling out long, detailed, arduous forms to better the sense of the pet not being an advantage, just an accomplice. To much work for too little benefit, is what I believe. | |

| I really like this idea but everyone has some really good points. I mean it would be fun and cool, but the thing is its like having a second character. Or maybe a new comer to the site and roleplay might only be this little animal. Don't get me wrong its a really cool idea. but not right for TFC | |
