Next Contest

What contest would you guys like to see next? I like to have contests going on all the time for members because it is fun like that.... I was thinking an art contest since we haven't had one of those in a while. Perhaps something end-of-summer or autumn themed? I don't know.

What about a drawing contest. Sort of like a contest where everyone draws their idea of what their camp looks like. Of course always just an idea.

I don't think that'd be a very good idea because not everyone can draw :/ Plus, we want to do something that doesn't really limit the people that can join in because I admit, this pack is becoming quite inactive because of school.

Well I'm open for all ideas, we haven't had an art contest since the map contest and it has been suggested to do an art contest. Any ideas are good though.

I really like the idea of a Transformice contest - like what we were going to do during the Clan Pride Week. It's something that members can actively participate in and there can be different types of competitions: n3wb, common, and pro for those that don't know how to play and for those who do.

How about a active contest whoever is the most active wins or something like that

That's not very good because not everyone is active at the moment or is unable to get on :/

I don't think activity should be a contest, honestly. Everyone(who is able to) should be active without there needing to be a contest about it.

I actually really like Rainstar's ideas of a contest where people draw their Clan's camp. I'd really like to see what people think their camps look like, and it doesn't hurt to have a.. visual guide, I guess, to help with roleplay in camps.

A TFM contest would be interesting I guess. I'm not much of a fan of TFM though so I can't really talk much about that.

I can't really think of good contest ideas. My two ideas are photography contest(it was the first thing that came to mind, heh) and a drawing contest where you draw something from the history or from RP.

On the subject of some people not able to join because they can't draw or whatever, every contest is going to "exclude" someone who doesn't think they're "good enough". The first contest, the biography contest, I feel could have left some people out because some people aren't great with coding or things like that. The map contest was another drawing contest, but it ended with a great map of the territories, and that's never a bad thing. Legendary history contest, not everyone can write. Signatures, again with the coding. Musical themes can include everyone, but some people may not have known good songs for the Clans. Basically, anyone can feel "excluded" with any contest, even an "activity contest" because not everyone can be active. A TFM contest would also exclude people, since not everyone can get on TFM, and some people don't like it.

Drawing a clan camp sounds okay, and so does a photography contest (provided that most of the pack knows how to take a picture and post it here). An idea of my own is drawing a medicine cat's den - you'd have to include the herb storage with at least 5 herbs as well as patient and medicine cat sleeping areas, as well as the den's entrance.

MAybe like a poem or banner for the site? One that can be displayed on WQ or something. Since not everyone has the ability to draw or computer editing, the writing portion is there too. Its kinda like a double contest, one for pictures/banners and one for writing. Hope this helps.

I think we'll go ahead with a drawing contest. Thanks for the input, guys! Hopefully we can do some other contests later on!
