| I read the rules thoroughly, and it says nothing about metagaming. Perhaps this is something we could add. Lke a StormClan wolf would not know that after a gathering, a SunClan wolf was made a warrior. Or vise versa and so on and so forth. I think it's something that could be added. It's just a pet peeve of mine. Not sure if others feel the same. | |

| So,you mean something that shows what they fist knew them as. And if they don't know them,to introduce themselves. | |

| An example:
Shadowstorm walks over to Bluepaw, "Hi bluepaw." (That is meta gaming because he does not know Bluepaw is an apprentice yet.
Shadowstorm walked over to Bluepaw, "Hi Bluepup, or is it Bluepaw now?" {That is not metagaming because he called him bluepup, becasue of the close age he asked if it was Bluepaw now.}

| Well, I think Metagaming is fine. I mean, who's gonna remember if, say, Darkclaw was Darkpaw when you last saw him? I mean, we have like, 200 members! I think it would be hard to remember that stuff over such a long period of time. | |

| It can be used for more things then metagaming however. Like someone knowing about.. lets say a forbidden love or attack and making sure they're suspicious In RP. that is metagaming. It can ruin plots. Especially surprise attacks, prophecies and more. | |

The name is not such a big problem. I still think Metagaming should be a rule regardless though.

| I say we should have no meta games. But we need a way to tell how to like see if we know them. How about putting them on your friend or foe list But they doesn't solve the part with changes in authority :/ | |

| I mean, personally, I don't see a problem with Metagaming. As long as it doesn't affect the game play to much, it doesn't really matter to me. | |

| But it is a good idea. Keeps the gameplay realy. Maybe you could have some kind of refence. Umm like make a note that you this is what you've last seen them as Or if you have even seen them | |

| Personally I think it is technically common sense that you don't know all about what's happening in other Clan's with their news and all that jazz. I mean of course you wouldn't know about Wolf A and Wolf B's illicit relationship if they haven't even told anyone. But we can definitely add this to the role-play rules.
But I think there should be an exception to this that does not warrant a warning, because I honestly don't remember all the wolves I have met. Since Shadestar is Clan leader, I just assume he's met everyone in StormClan when a new member joins since it's a Clan and everyone is born in it. Most of the time, unless I remember specific interactions (like the ones between Shadestar and Hawkpool or something) I can't recall who I've met before and just refer to them as "the female" or "the wolf". Yet, I don't think that it should warrant a punishment if you refer to a wolf as their name if you can't remember if you've met them before since we have a great many members.
I don't know if any of that made sense.

| Yes, but what I think what she means is if two wolves want to keep something a secret, it would be meta gaming if one wolf already knows their secret when they haven't even told anyone. It would kind of ruin the plot. |

Yes I know, and I addressed that in my post. To go along with that on the same line of thinking, it would be pointless to try to remember when all of these promotions took place and to remember who had been given one or not, because most people just look at a name and would be like "Oh okay, that's Shadowstorm" not "Okay that's either Shadowpaw or Shadowpup, I'm not sure if he was named both in one month or if he has been a warrior all this time" so they just go with the current name thing. I try to be aware and remember it but it is difficult.

Yet it would make it a bit real But it would be very complicated It's not really that complicated. All Shade's trying to say is that, say if someone wrote: He glanced around, hoping no one would find out that he had a mate from another Clan. and if they never told anyone, then no one should write something like: She glanced over, seeing him in the corner of her eye acting suspisious. I'll bet he has a mate from my Clan she thought.
