Greenleaf, prey is once more plentiful. The forests and Moors are filled with tasty nibbles of prey while the river is almost choked with fish.

In order to advance from Apprentice to Young Warrior and Young Warrior to Warrior, you must learn skills. Right now there are 3 large groups- Hunting, Scouting, and Fighting. More may be added later. There are smaller skills in these groups.

Hunting
● Hunting large animals
● Hunting medium animals
● Hunting small animals
● Fishing

Scouting
● Finding prey
● Scouting for predators
● Finding herbs

Fighting
● Offense
● Defense

Misc.
● Problem Solving1

1 You can earn Problem Solving points by participating in events where you must use brain over brawn.

All of these are completely achieved through role-play. In order to become a Young Warrior you must master at least 3 of those skills. To become a Warrior you must master at least 4, and to become a Senior Warrior, 5. When you are an Apprentice it is much easier/quicker to master skills than when you are a Young Warrior or Senior Warrior, because you have a mentor teaching them to you. You earn the percentages more quickly as an apprentice than as a Warrior. Of course you can still ask another wolf for guidance!

Where do I find how far I am in mastering? How do I master skills?
When you look on your mini proflile on the forum, there is a section called stats with the symbol points underneath it. Click the underlined "stats" word and it will take you to your profile where it lists all of your skill sets and how far along you are in mastering them. You can try all of the different skills, but it will take hard work to master them!

You master the skills through doing various things in role-play. Your Clan leaders will be watching the role-play closely to see when you have instances of, say, doing a herb-finding favor for a Medicine wolf, practicing your battle skills, fishing, or hunting animals. Depending on the outcome of each instance you earn points. Whether or not you are successful doesn't necessarily matter- you still have the experience! It can also depend on the amount of wolves in your party or how big of a part you played in completing the skill. Once you fill up the whole bar you have mastered the skill!
