Graypaw Training with Rainwhisper

Rainwhisper padded by the river, bending down to lap at the cool water. Her pink tongue scooped up as much of the clear liquid as she could before pulling it back in, her eyes closed in the pleasure of the freshness. She stuck her head in, just to get a bit wet and pulled it back out watching Graypaw. She smiled, she was so proud of him. "Alright Gray, are you ready?"

"Yes."he said enthusiastically. He tilted his head. "Do we hunt or fight first?"he asked. The male smiled at his mother.

Rainwhisper raised a brow and with a swift flick, dumped Graypaw into the water. She chuckled softly and lied down, "Lets sleep." She winked, her voice humorous. "I kid, Graypaw. Let's try hunting first. What do you smell?"

"I smell rabbits!"he exclaimed. He sniffed around some more. "A vole nearby too!"he said. "Um....2"he ended his little 'report'.

Rainwhisper sniffed the air as well and nodded, "Good, which do you want to go after. The rabbits? Or the voles? Remember to choose wisely, or you may end up with empty paws and bellies."

Graypup sniffed the air. "The rabbits are closer."he said. He listened and nodded. "I will."he smirked. "No one should go hungry when I'M hunting."he said arrogantly.

Rainwhisper chuckled softly, "Alright, track 'em." She raised a slight brow. She had such an odd misture of different pups. She was quite excited about it. With a soft smile she followed the young male.
