Owl Tree

Cloudpaw trotted over to the Owl Tree, arriving a bit before her mentor. She noticed Pearlpaw was also here; and she nodded to her sister. "Hi Pearlpaw!" The pale silver apprentice said, padding over. "Did you want to train with Moonshadow and I?" Cloudpaw added; she wasn't certain where Pearlpaw's mentor was, or what had happened at camp after she left, though perhaps her sister's mentor would allow Pearlpaw to train; if Moonshadow agreed, Cloudpaw added in her thoughts.

Cloudpaw glanced over at Moonshadow as her mentor padding into the clearing, hearing her also ask Pearlpaw if she wanted to train. The apprentice then glanced back towards her sister as Pearlpaw began to speak. Her sister's tone had been less cheerful than her own; Cloudpaw wondered if something had happened at camp while she was away. She further believed so as she heard Pearlpaw's next sentence. "Okay, it should be fun training." Cloudpaw said to her sister, glancing over at Moonshadow as her mentor had asked a question. "Is there anything you'd like to learn first?" Cloudpaw said to Pearlpaw; she didn't mind what they would work on, and perhaps Pearlpaw would feel better if she learned something that she had wanted to.

Cloudpaw nodded at Pearlpaw's response. "So far, Moonshadow and I have worked on hunting; I wouldn't mind continuing on that or working on something else." The pale silver apprentice said in reply to her sister, before glancing at Moonshadow. "I don't really mind what we work on; you could choose if you'd like." Cloudpaw said in her normally kind tone.

Cloudpaw nodded as she heard Pearlpaw reply, looking up excitedly as Moonshadow began to speak. The apprentice nodded as she heard Moonshadow's words, and sniffed at the air. "Besides birds and squirrels... I think I can scent a deer." Cloudpaw said, glancing at both Pearlpaw and Moonshadow.

Cloudpaw nodded as Moonshadow replied that it had been an elk. She scented at the air once more to be sure she could remember the scent. "I'd be up for it; what do you think, Pearlpaw?" The pale silver apprentice asked, glancing at her sister.

"Your right Moonshadow." Pearlpaw said. The small she-wolf smiled a bit. As she got up, she scented the air. She could tell that it was the scent of the elk Moonshadow had talked about earlier.
"I can't tell what direction its in." Pearlpaw said to Moonshadow.

Cloudpaw nodded as Pearlpaw responded to her, listening as both her sibling and mentor spoke to each other. Cloudpaw looked over in the direction Moonshadow nodded in, slightly seeing something that looked a bit similar to prey. "Is that an elk?" Cloudpaw whispered, looking at Pearlpaw and Moonshadow.

Cloudpaw glanced over at Pearlpaw as she spoke about her mentor, and frowned; she really wondered what had happened at camp while she and Moonshadow had been away. Hearing her sister's response about the prey, Cloudpaw nodded, looking back at Moonshadow. "The elk are large; it even looks like it could feed the Clan for a moon!" Cloudpaw said in response to Moonshadow; she did know an elk would probably last a day as her mentor had stated, though she wondered how a wolf could catch something such as an elk.

Cloudpaw looked up in surprise as she noticed Echochime running over, listening as her mother said it was time for some ceremonies. She nodded excitedly, nodding once more in response to her sister. "Yes, I'm coming!" Cloudpaw said happily in response to Echochime, before running after the three other wolves.
