The River

Where it marks the border of Riverclan, and where most of our clanmates to come and hunt fishes during the spring. The stepping stones are only reachable in the Late Spring and Early Summer.

Whitestorm's eyes widened when silktuft spoke, the male had a huge grin on he's face. The elegantly beautiful she-wolf before him had accepted he's loving offer to share he's heart with her and whitestorm felt as he's body was going to melt and wash away with the river. Before he said anything the male felt a lick on he's cheek, as he could feel both he's cheeks start to warm with an embarrassing blush. Whitestorm licked the female's nose before replying. "I love you too." The male said stepping out of the water, as he coat dripped he's smiled beamed in the moonlight, in fact he couldn't stop smiling as the male felt joyful.

The white male looked at he's new mate with warm eyes. As he watched her gracefully lay her self down. Whitestorm decided to lay besides her as he played with her ear. "Have you spoken to Graystar or Shadestar yet." The male asked wondering if she had announced her return to either of the two leaders.

"Haven't had the time, I guess. Because of the gathering, I wasn't able to talk to them. Perhaps I will afterward."Silktuft then felt the tug at her ear as she looked over to Whitestorm pulling at her ear. She very gently batted his muzzle, almost playfully."Oh how you tease.." She murmured loud enough for his to hear. Slowly, she reached her nose to his, touching them together as fur bristled at his side touching her. Her tail swayed over on top of his as she then lowered her head to the ground, ears back against her skull. "What should we do now, aimer," she asked before licking his cheek again.

Whitestorm listened to what she said before. He felt her paw against he's nose as he chuckled. The white warrior looked at he's mate, as he gave her a lick on the cheek. "Let's hunt." The male said shortly as he thought it would give them an excuse to leave the gathering at the time they did.

Silktuft looked as he stood and guessed hunting. She nodded and stood up quickly, her tail swishing gently. "Alright. I'll head north of this river a little ways." Slowly, she licked her mate's shoulder in a swift goodbye, as she turned to the marshy land. Her paws was covered in water already as she looked back to Whitestorm. She then loped through the land of the Stormclan, feeling at home. As she found a great place to hunt, she crouched to the ground and looked around with her large blue eyes. Silktuft saw a rabbit in the corner of her eyes. She kept her ears and tail low as she crept up slowly. She leaped a bit early, missing the rabbit as she tried to land. But she would catch it before it was completely away with her amazing speed, with her lean and limber form.

As she caught up with the rabbit, she quickly swiped it feet, making it fall victim of her massive paws. She closed in and bit its neck, hearing a soft snap under her teeth. Her canines were covered in its blood as she picked it up by the back. Glad I 'curt zat wabbit," she said, as she walked back to the river, waiting for the white brujo to return.

Whitestorm watched as the white female stalked away to hunt. The male then turned around and disappeared into the long grass away from the river. He had hunted here not that long ago, and retraced he's steps as he kept low and quiet. The male could scent rabbit up ahead of him, as he looked back and then back forward. He then heard a struggling call, so he decided to check it out for himself, as the male approached what he could make out a small abandoned deer. He closed in, as he's ears flicked from left to right before he was in range the male gave chase, as the deer struggled to get on its feet. Whitestorm tackled the pray animal and swiftly killed it. Whitestorm looked around once more, quickly picking up the deer, the size of an apprentice. And made he's way back to where they had started with he's prize fermly grasped between he's jaws....

Silktuft silently looked at the brute walk over near her, a fawn settled deep in his grasp. A large and warm smile stretched across her face, as she stood, the rabbit left behind, when she went up to the huge male, nuzzling his shoulder. "Great catch, hon." She paused as she slowly propelled to the rabbit, swinging it in the air as she caught it in her mouth. "We zhould zee if teh 'lders areh hungra. They 're fed before rus. The deep eyes looked back to the river flowing, seeing the fish come out from when they splashed in there. She sat the rabbit down so she could talk easier. Whatever happens, we need to get to camp. Come when ya like, darlin'." Her voice was thick in her accent as she grabbed the rabbit again, and raced off. Her ears were high as she was heading to camp. The home. Her home. Her clan's home.

~Le Stormclan Camp.~

Whitestorm smiled and nodded as he followed he's mate back to the camp. The handsome white brute dragged he's kill with him. He's blue gaze watched he's mate as they walked back to camp together, he wondered if the gathering was over.

-SC Camp-

The thunderclan wolf sat on the Thunder side of the border, her crystaline gaze focused on the stormclan side. She couldnt bear to stay for very much longer in Thunderclan. It felt like everything was falling apart. Thoughts raced through her mind, Blackpaw would hate her for this decision, but she quite honestly had no choice. But she made no move to move across the stepping stones yet

The brown fae arrived in the area together with her apprentice. She looked at the young pupil and spoke: "This is The River. This is the best place for fishing. And of course, some wolves often come here just for fun, especially at green-leaf. As you can see it's a pretty big river and it separates our territory from Thunderclan's." The warrior explained and glanced at the river. She took few more steps forward till she reached it's coast. Something that caught Luna's interest was the Thunderclanner which was sitting at the other side of the river. The she-wolf looked seriously at the white fae and suddenly spoke: "What brings you here?" Luna disliked Thundeclan since she was a pup even that she decided not to be rude with this wolf.

Duskpaw pads up to the river with her mentor and looks at the wide river, her eyes glittering with wonder; she loved sitting by rivers. Duskpaw flicks her ears at her mentor intently as she mentions fishing, “You’re going to teach me how to fish?” she asks curiously. “But wouldn’t we get--” she gets interrupted as her mentor addresses another wolf. Turning her head across the river, Duskpaw looks at a Thunderclan wolf with wide eyes, and lets a small growl out.

Lunalight turned her attention back to her apprentice. She heard the small growl and that's why with a flick of her tail she signalised the young pupil that everything is ok. "Yes I will teach you how to fish, but that will happend after the tour." The brown fae looked at the Thunderclanner seriously. This wolf was an intruder. Luna could not leave the river till she made sure that the white wolf from the other side is on a fair distance from the clan border.

Duskpaw holds back her growl as her mentor flicks her tail and nods to her words. I’m going to learn how to fish too! She thinks excitedly; there was so much to learn and all she knew so far was her territory. The thought was overwhelming, but she had a long way to go. She turns back to the river, they weren’t going to leave a Thunderclan wolf alone by their border. Duskpaw lifts her head up and breathes in her scent; a warrior should know everyone of the clan’s scents. She took note of the musky forest smell and shook her head; she didn’t like the smell at all. Duskpaw turns to her mentor and waits to see what the warrior would do with the intruder.

The hate in their voices made the albino cringe a little, she flicked her ears back in a sign of apoligy, however she lifted her head as she asked what she was doing there and signalled with her body language that it was her border too, was she not allowed to enjoy the coolness of the water? She knew that they would think her rude for not speaking, her heart flew to the thought of Creekfire, would he appear and help the white wolf out?

Whitestorm approached the river bank. The massive white male stood tall over the long grass as, he kept he's head held high. He looked around to see what was going on as he could smell the scent of lunalight. He stalked further he wondered how she was getting on. As he looked behind him for bluepaw, the male hoped she wasn't to far behind. As he approached the others, who seemed to be looking across the river, which was theirs. He to followed their gaze to a white wolf on the other side of the riverbank, near the stepping stones. 'She isn't planning to cross is she.' The handsome male said to himself, he waited for bluepaw as lunalight and duskpaw was further down the bank. Whitestorm wasn't going to proceed without bluepaw now seeing as there could be a thunderclan threat. Whitestorm narrowed he's blue gaze as he noticed the white wolf from a earlier gathering. He clenched he's jaw. "What on earth is she doing her." The male said quietly.

Duskpaw flicks her ears as she notices a large white wolf appear behind them from Stormclans side of the forest. She allows her muscles to relax as she recognizes Whitestorm and turns back to the Thunderclan wolf with a grin; three to one, the wolf would be wise to return back to her territory. Duskpaw crouches low as she waits for her mentors sign to attack, or to relax.

Her ears flicked back annoyedly at the apprentices grin, her ice blue eyes glittered. She was on the thunderclan Side of the river, if they attacked then they were in the wrong. The white wolf resorted to ignoring them, crouching down beside the river she shot a silent smirk at the other apprentice, she casually looked into the water and swung a paw, claws digging into the scales of a fish. Flicking it up onto the bank she killed it with a strike to its head. she returned to looking for more fish.

Whitestorm yawned. He knew the petty thunderclanners couldn't swim so the only way this white wolf was ever a threat to them would be f she crossed by the stepping stones. He hoped someone else from the thunder would come to speak for the white female. Whitestorm, looked for bluepaw. Flicking he's ear wondering how long she would take.

Lunalight took a step forward reaching the end of the coast on their side and with a serious and cold look she glared at the white thunderclanner. She understood her signs from earlier but she did not like the cocky smirk. "I don't think we will have problem as long as u stay on your side, Thunderclanner." the way Luna said Thunderclanner showed how much she disliked these mutts. With a simple look she signalized to Whitestorm, who just arrived, to be careful. "Let's go Duskpaw. I have alot to show you."
~Old Shadowclan camp~

(Bluepaw)
Blue arrived quite late but she managed to see her mother and her apprentice. It seemed that there was a problem with a wolf, which scent she did not know. However, the long tailed wolf got near her mentor and smiled widely, in sign of apologize. She did not let him say a word, when suddenly the blue fae trotted to the coast of the river and looked at the white wolf on the other side. Bluepaw lifted her paw a little in sign of greeting. She somehow liked being friendly and creating new friendships.

Whitestorm nodded to lunalight as she exited the area with duskpaw. Bluepaw arrived quickly after, he noticed her go right up to the river bank as she greeted the white wolf on the other side. Whitestorm glared over with he's royal blue gaze. "Can you catch fish bluepaw?" The male asked, he might as well teach bluepaw how to fish.

Blue was still watching the snowflake white wolf with wonder and somehow friendly eyes. Her mentor's voice made her look at him. Blue never had the chanse to try catching fish or anything else. The young one looked in the crystal clear water where she saw flash of scales. The long tailed wolf blinked ones as she suddenly shoved her paw in the water trying to catch the creature. However she failed but that didn't made her give up at all. She shoved her both paws and moved forward, which made the blue fae fall in the water.
It seemed that Bluepaw was a natural swimmer and maybe that's why she managed to show her muzzle surface the water. The long tailed creature took a deep breath and once more got under the water, following the fish from earlier. Understanding that the chanse of catching it with paws is almost 0% she quickly bit it with her jaws and got over the water. Blue was somewhere in the middle of the river but that didn't scare her at all. Instead she began swimming till she reach the coast where Whitestorm was. With her nimble paws she got out of the river and set down the small fish. She shaked the water off her fluffy fur and grinned at her mentor.

Whitestorm watched with interest, she was certainly different. Her technique in catch fish was very strange to him but he wondered if she would catch any fish with her own method to be tested. He watched as she came back with a small finish. "Well done kid." The male said with a smile. He walked into the water. "This method is more of a efficient way of fishing. The male walked into the water till it reached. he's soft underbelly, quite shallow. The male raised a paw. "You wait, a little." The male watched as the fishes streamed pass, as he lowered he's paw slowly, then striked flicking the large fish out of the water catching it inbetween he's jaws. The male through it on the river bank and t jumped around a little. "I think this way would be more energy reserving." The male said then looked over the the thunderclanner he's royal blue gaze was hard. He wondered what she was really doing.

The white wolf perked her ears as the new apprentice appeared, as the other apprentice made a sign of hello she allowed her ears to come forward and her tail to give a couple of wags. She stared hardly at the water then waded in, she was determined to teach herself how to swim as she already knew how to catch fish. She lay down in the water till it came over her back then she began blowing bubbles, her face crinkling up in her strange silent smile. She noticed how the other wolf did not speak much and blinked curiously. Was she mute like crystalpaw herself?

Upon hearing the hatred in her mentors voice, Duskpaw tilted her head, curious as to why Lunalight hated Thunderclan so much. Despite her confusion, Duskpaw imitated her mentors actions and glared at the Thunderclan wolf before following Lunalight towards the old Shadowclan camp.
