Fourtrees #4

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings

"Hmmm... How about Heatherpetal, as you are as pretty as a rose." Swiftpaw chuckled noticing how cheesy that sounding as he looked at heatherpaw with he's moon lit eyes.

Heatherpaw giggled smiled shyly, letting her gaze drop to the ground. "You..you think so?" Through saying this, she had completely forgotten about the existence of her Clanmates beside her, and what they might think of their words.

"Yea I know so, ahaha." Swiftpaw let out a little laugh, "So Heatherpaw what do you think is taking shadowclans leader so long to arrive."

"Hmm...I honestly have no idea." Amusement laced her tone as she spoke her honest thoughts. By now, she had lifted her sight from the ground and was now looked directly at Swiftpaw. "What about you? What do you think?"

"Oh I don't know maybe they didn't feel like coming." He smiled jokingly as he nudged Heatherpaw. Swiftpaw sat down in a more relaxing position he felt a bit tired now. He looked at the other wolves watching close by he looked at heatherpaw "I wonder what they are going to talk about at this gathering."

Direpaw watched with a slight amount of worry, they had just gone back to ignoring him. huh he was used to that. his blood red eyes glared at Swiftpaw as with bitterness he said coldly "ill see you around heatherpaw" he turned and walked silently off. this was the beginning of his transition into coldness. blood red eyes glancing around the cllearing he growled in his chest seeing other clans mingle with each other this wasnt right! you couldnt trust the other clans. all these meetings ever did were weaken the clans with friendships in other clans. he snorted if he became leader that would be the first thing to go.

Heatherpaw smiled and rolled her eyes in amusment, "Hopefully it will be a little less, adventurous, as the last few." She felt an icy chill run down her spine at the memory of the carnival they had visited a few moon before, and she settled down on her side with a sleepy yawn. "Though as far as I am aware, I don't think that much is going to be announced." A chill breeze swept across the clearing, ruffling her fur and once again sending a jolting chill through her body. "Never the less, the sooner the gathering gets started, the sooner we can get back to our camps and get some sleep." The last part was said jokingly, though the sound of a good nights sleep seemed rather inviting. Not that she would dare think of snatching a quick doze at a gathering, purposfully anyway...
"Oh, uh, bye Direpaw!" She called after her friend as he stalked away, but curiosity burned inside her at his cold tone. He had been acting differently recently, and she was eager to know why. Pushing those thoughts to the back of her mind, she turned her attention back to Swiftpaw.

Ripplepup bounced over to heatherpaw and nipped at her tail giggling, she glanced around her white fluffy tail stuck up straight in the air like a flag pole making her whole appearance look rather gangly. she giggled rolling head over heels and racing around infront of her sitting just infront of her with a question burning in her eyes "what are highstones!" she demanded in the way that pups do. her baby blue eyes watched heatherpaw with a strong intensity.

Nightpaw watched through narrowed eyes as a Windclan apprentice (Direpaw) stalked off into the crowd. Her fur prickled a little at the coldness in his eyes but she tried to ignore it and looked up at the night sky. Her eyes glistened in the reflection of the dancing stars, her ears perked up straight as she listened tothe howling noises of the midnight forest and wolves.

Heatherpaw couldn't suppres a short burst of laughter escape her jaws as the excitable pup raced over to her, demanding to know what Highstones were in their usual bouncy way. The apprentice replied softly, "Now why would one be so eager to find that out?" She gave her a small wink.

"Oh then in that case I hope the gathering doesn't start if that ensures me talking to you all night." He smiled as he laid on he's belly looking up at the highrock he's yawned, and looked back at heatherpaw, "what's up with that apprentice anyway." Swiftpaw stared at heatherpaw with a cool tone trying to hide he's consern.

"i want to know what they are because, some medicine wolves were talking about them" she paused thinking. "i want to know about everything! there is so much to learn and see. i want to know it all." she giggled before frowning "what apprentice?" she asked curiously her baby blue eyes curious and interested in everything around her. her tail thumped against the ground in a staccato rythym.

( just gotta tell you guys that Heatherpaw's phone died so can't rp anymore tonight unfortunately. Mines about to die too but she said to tell you gus so... I am)

Nightpaw lays down on the cold, crisp earth and places her head on her paws boredly. "wonder where shadowclan are..." she said aloud and looked over towards the shadowclan border

"I don't understand. why has Shadestar postponed your ceremony, your about m age." He said, he had a confused look to his black face, his eyes piercing. The volant leaves had begun to turn various yellows, read and browns. The branches swaying around the clearing. It was good to see friends.

"hmm, probbaly because i havent proved myself ready to be a medicine wolf apprentice yet" she suggested, her midnight blue eyes mysterious, she watched her friend with kindness, the shadowclan fae very kind and gentle. she smiled faintly and said "i heard that skydust is a great medicine wolf, you are lucky to have him for a mentor my friend"

Tallfeather blinked in alarm as a small white bundle darted around him. His alarm grew into amusement as the little shape slammed into another wolf and detangled itself from the flying maelstrom of fur and limbs; it was just a pup. Tallfeather couldn't tell what clan, but judging by its surprised expression, it had been aiming for him and tumbled into Echosong instead. Grinning to himself, Tallfeather sprawled down into a laying position and rested his head on his paws, waiting for the gathering to begin.

(So sorry! I've gotta stop doing this!)

Snowpaw snapped awake. He had dozed off do to lack of sleep when they had gone to investigate the river. He looked around and noticed that Silverheart and the other wolf were gone. He looked for and quickly spotted Silver, he limped over to her and sat down, "sorry, Silver, I dozed off," he said.

Phoenixfire noticed the windclan wolf that had dodged Eviepups attack, he wandered over to tallfeatherand sat down, his eyes flickering "hello, how is the prey running in Wind Clan?" he asked politely. his eyes were relaxed and calm but behind them were a storm of questions where were the shadowclanners, and why was that wind clan apprentice over yonder so worked up abit (direpaw) he flicked his tail and yawned a little. so many questions not enough time. he returned his attention back to the windclan wolf who he remembered last time was an apprentice Tallpaw he thought it was...

She giggled softly and shook her head softly. "No worry I know it is tiring staying up waiting for the gathering to begin!" She said placing her muzzle on his shoulder. "I feel so left out..." she whispered to him softly. Her voice nearly drifting off in the wind. Her pelt quivered silently and her body felt frozen. Her eyes flickered across a few pups chasing each other around and warriors talking. One wolf layed sprawled (Tallfeather) out seeming to care less about looking as if they had a hair of respect. Rolling her eyes jokingly she feathered her tail across the ground softly.

Moonpaw scented her way over to Direpaw and nudged him. "Why the ruffled fur?" she teased, wondering why he was so upset. The only thing she could turn up was that he liked Heatherpaw and was evious... She shook her head, and waited for his response. Her birch colored eyes stared lifelessly out at the gathering.

"im not envious ok! im just well.. worried, its kinda obvious that that apprentice likes her" he scuffed a paw through the dirt and glanced at moonpaw, he liked her alot anyway. he could feel the ice within him beginning to build up. he sighed closing his blood red eyes nad told moonpaw "i have gross blood red eyes now, so both of our eyes are funny" he laid down head on his paws.

Standing up she saw no sign of shadestarand sighed
After that she caught a rabbit
She ate it in peace,or at least she thought....

Shadowpup went over to a group of WindClan wolves. They appeared to be younger, but not as young as him. "Hi guys, I' Shadowpup." He said, he wasn't sure weather or not to hide the fact Shadestar could not remember who he is. His eyes a brilliant color. He looked at them.
