Fourtrees #4

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings

He then looked up at the leaders and said "why do they all have "star" at the end of their names." He then felt another gust of wind that knocked him into another thunderclanner,but looked smaller then hawkpool. He was about the same size and said "hi,i'm bluepup,who are you?" He then heard hawkpool say something about starclan and said "well i've heard stories about that." He then paused,pondering what one of the stories was about.

Nightpaw nodded greeting to Bluepup. "hiya, I'm Nightpaw." she said to the shadowclan pup. Looking towards highrock, she took in what Hawkpool had said and relaxed a little feeling a little more comfortable knowing. Wonder what it's like to be up there, looking down on all the clans.... she thought, her eyes wide in awe, the moonlight reflecting off them making them shine.

Shadowpup went over to Bluepup. Seeing the other clan wolves around him, she figured one of his clan should be there too. Her ears perked up, his attention of them, nothing else. Her eyes kind and friendly. "Hi Bluepup. Who are they?" She asked curiously. She decided it was best to introduce herself. "Hello, I'm Shadowpup of Shadowclan." She introduced.

Nightpaw turned her head around hearing a wolf approach and speak (Shadowpup). "Hiya." she barked to the wolf. "I'm Nightpaw from Thunderclan, nice to meet you." she smiled and dipped her head respectively to the shadowclan pup. A friendly smile appeared on her face.

Her fur now lied flat as Shadestar entered the clearing. It had quieted down as he sat in silence at the top of great rock as if nothing ever happend. Leaning over to Snowpaw she whispered quietly "That was a bit awkward?" A small chuckle escpaing her lips. Wagging her tail as she scooted forward filling in the empty space of the sea of wolves. The warmth of everyone was quite comforting but it still made her uneasy being surrounded by others and packed tightly. Her flank slowly rising and falling as she rook deep relaxing breaths of chilly air.

Tallfeather, who hadn't really been paying attention, looked up in alarm when his eyes landed on the familiar broad-shouldered figure of Shadestar pushing through the crowd of wolves. For a moment Tallfeather stared at him, wondering why the leader was so late, but almost instantly his gaze was drawn away; Tallfeather had caught sight of the wolf he'd been most eager to see. Supressing the urge to call out to her, Tallfeather began weaving his way through the thickening crowd of wolves, his eyes never leaving the white-furred figure sitting among everyone else. As soon as he'd gotten close enough, Tallfeather sat down beside Skypaw [FEATHER? AAAH] and let out a deep, rumbling purr. "Good evening."

Skypaw jumped in surprise when someone spoke close to her ear, there always had been sensitive, and turned to snap at the wolf until the voice processed through her brain. She looked over at Tallfeather with one of the biggest grins on her face, "Tallpaw!" she barked softly, pressing her nose to her shoulder, "How long have you been here?" She blinked her emerald eyes at him and before, he could answer, nodded her head away from the clearing, "Come on, let's go somewhere where we can talk without anyone hearing." With that the she-wolf got up and made her way out of the crowd and out of the clearing.

A grin spread across Tallfeather's muzzle at Skypaw's surprised expression. When she turned to leave the clearing Tallfeather followed, trying to move as subtly and quietly as possibly, not wanting to draw any attention to them. When he broke the thick crowd of wolves, Tallfeather took another few steps forward, immersing himself in a thick clump of ferns out of eye and earshot of the all the other wolves. Sitting down, he waited impatiently for Skypaw to follow.

Skypaw followed Tallfeather into the ferns and sat down beside him. She nuzzled his neck before looking at him, "How've you been?" she asked, curious as she hadn't seen him since the venture to the strange two-leg place.

Nodding to shadowpaw and nightpaw he said "it is very nice to meet you both." He then paused as he felt another gust of wind bush through his fur. He felt an unknown sencation the,shook his head back to reality. "Well it is very nice to meet you all." He always spoke with some kind of authority. He knew not why or what authority he had. He just did.

Nodding to shadowpaw she said "it is nice to meet you shadow." She then calmly looked up at the leaders. Wondering when they would start. She then sat up. Feeling her sore paws,she shivered. Then looked at the young wolves and said "i'm sure you will all be great warriors." She then looked at bluepup and said "you too little one." She chuckled under her breath. She then sat in silence,waiting for the leaders

Snowpaw relaxed as he saw Shadestar enter the clearing. He let out a relieved sigh and chuckled to Silver, "yes, but I'm just glad he's here." He curled his tail around hers and watched the leaders on top of the great rock, waiting for the gathering to start. He wondered what news that the other clans had, also what had taken Shadestar so long to get there. He wondered if he would even tell the other clans.

Rainstar nodded, "I guess so, anyone in specific would like to begin?" She looked at the other leaders, her face expressionless. Right now she just wanted to finish and go back to camp. The blowing breeze made her want to jump off and run into her den, and sleep warmly. Her paws shuffled as hse waited, if they didn't say anything soon she would begin it herself.

direpaw turned his head about to apoligise to heatherpaw as well before he saw her walk away and snuggle with that thunderclan wolf. his blood red eyes flashed again and he returned his attention to moonpaw, he tightened his tail around hers and said calmly "well at least shadestar is here now, your nose is getting really sensitive moonpaw!" he smiled warmth filling his chest as he regarded moonpaw.

Heatherpaw shuffled to the side, a little emmbarassed to be caught snuggled up to the Thunderclan male, as Snowflower approached and spoke. On Greatrock she could hear the leaders discussing something, and when she turned her head to have a better look, she recognised the dark shape of the Shadowclan leader, Shadestar, among them. " Look!" She whispered to Swiftpaw excitedly, "Shadestar has arrived!"

Heatherpaw quietly whsipered to him, he looked up at the highrock and saw the shadowclan leader. "Oh so that's him huh." Swiftpaw question.

"I will start, if no one else objects."

Glancing at Rainstar, Russetstar stood up, his fur blown about by the breeze. He shivered, feeling the cold, icy air in his bones. Then he remembered quickly that he had to continue.
He glanced at the other leaders, then turned to the crowd of wolves below. He could see WindClan members among them.

"Things are going good with WindClan; the prey are still running strong on the moors. We have new apprentices; Dawnpaw, Heatherpaw, Moonpaw and Direpaw. Tigerpup's ceremony will be shortly. Please send your congratulations onwards towards Shadepaw for becoming Medicine Wolf Apprentice too. We have also had a new warrior; Tallpaw is now Tallfeather.
That is all."

Russetstar stepped back and sat down, his gaze now upon his fellow leaders, wondering who was going to go next.

Heatherpaw noded,"It Sure is." She shot him a sweet smile before she turned her attention to the leaders above once again.Her ears perked forward as she heard her name mentioned along with her friends, or at least some of them anyway, she raised her head proudly, her face beaming.

(Sorry, question,but can wolves climb trees? O.o )

Noticing russetstar starting the gathering,she beckoned the young wolves to gather around the greatrock. She then noticed another gust if wind. She shook it off,still feeling the air crisp to the touch. She sat down on he ground already feeling her paws get sore. She looked up at the leaders,and smiled at new warriors being made.

Following the warrior,he sat down next to her. Suddenly not feeling his paws. He groaned,as the chill ran up his legges. He looked up at the leaders waiting for shadestar to announce something. He then noticed the windclan leader announce some new apprentices. i wonder if I will be a warrior soon. Since he was already 4 moons,he thought he might be apprenticed soon. Also he wondered who might be his mentor. He was lost in thought,drifting into the dream world...........

Shadestar said nothing to Rainstar's request, and sat away from the other three. His emotionless eyes watched everything in the clearing and saw everything going on from his viewpoint. One thing in particular caught his eye, but he did not dwell on it. Instead, he turned to look at the WindClan leader as he spoke to all of the Clans. They were doing well, apparently. As the male leader finished and stepped back, Shadestar waited for another leader to step up and take his place to make their announcements, and made no move to go next.

Nudging blue from daydreaming she said "try to pay attention,not ignore it." She then looked up. Feeling a chilling gust of wind. i guess leaf-bare wants to get here as soon as possible. She then looked up at the sky. She then noticed the sun almost over the sun-drown-place. Then spoke to starclan. please,let us not leave this next leave-bare scared and littered with dead wolves

Nodding as she curled her tail with Snowpaw's gently. A sweet grin spreading across her muzzle. They had nearly been through everything together and she meant nearly everything. His deep relaxing blue gaze melted her whilst the shimmer of his pelt made a permanent glow in her eyes. They hadn't admitted it but they had one of the strongest relationship of all their clan mates. But it was her secret to herself that she had even deeper feelings for this young apprentice who was only a bit behind her. They were always going to be partners in crime.

Snowpaw scooted up next to Silver. He looked into her eyes, and was immediately immobilized, he looked deep into her beautiful icy gaze. He couldn't look away even if he tried, until he heard a voice, he turned his head to see that Russetstar had stepped up on the great rock. When she had finished, he felt good knowing that everything was fine in WindClan. He looked at Shadestar, expecting him to step up next, but didn't, he seemed reluctant to step up, and Snowpaw wondered why.

Silverheart nearly choked as she noticed Snowpaw was staring into her eyes. Shifting her paws she just glanced downwards quickly then back up realizing Russetstar had just finished speaking. Hoping one of the leaders would soon step up before they froze their tails off. It had been a long hard and tiring day. Soon she would be curled up in the den dreaming and waking as she pleased.
