WindClan Camp

Direstar nodded and dipped his head "thank you heatherstar, i fear for both of our clans, shadestar loathes sunclan and will attempt to recruit you as he did russetstar may starclan rest his soul". His blood red eyes watched heatherstar as he then said "well i have wasted enough of your time, ill take my warriors home now, thank you again". he padded out of the camp and glanced around for Stoatblaze and Streakfire. he gave a slight sigh.

Streakfire padded into WindClan camp. She sees Direstar. "Direstar! Are you ready to go? I wanna hunt with----," She hesitated, "someone." (That is five sentences I think.)

Okamipup grinned at the apprentice "im Okamipup!" she stared up at tallfeather and her black eyes widened. "woaaah, will i ever be that big?". she stared up at tallfeather with admiring eyes, she wanted to grow up and be big like that! She felt like she had been tiny forever! she was the smallest pup there. she sat down and stared up at tallfeather she couldnt take her eyes off him.

Tallfeather held back his laughter, grinning at Okamipup's exclamation. "Someday," He told her, nodding his head. Tallfeather could clearly remember his days as such a young wolf when he spent all his time longing to grow up like the other warriors. "But right now you get to enjoy being a pup, right?"

Direstar nodded and turned. he began padding back to the sunclan camp. he hoped that moonwhisper would be ok, he had to go and talk to heatherstar so he could be sure of sunclans alliance with them. he flicked his tail and began to leap towards camp.

"we are talking about the sunclan wolves tallfeather!" Okamipup said cheerfully, she wagged her slim slip of a tail and grinned. the red markings on her face standing out like a sore thumb. Okamipup had no idea of her red markings nor how they made her diffferent along with the plate on her back. she wagged her tail playfully

Streakfire smiled. Direstar did not notice her hesitation. She pads back to camp. I think I will finally ask Oakthorn to be my mate!

Wolfpup glanced at the SunClan wolves as they left. Perhaps something good had come out of that. He dared not go see Shadewhisper, what would become of the medicine wolf? He expected others, like Heatherstar, to go see him soon. He'd noticed the catmint in the wolf's jaws. Perhaps a herb hunt gone bad?

Shadewhisper woke up as Spottedpaw, his own apprentice, started to treat his wounds. "Sorry. Catmint. Cougar. Outside territory." Was all he could choke out, his eyes full of pain, he had been looking for catmint, knowing that it was to be needed in the harsh winter. He'd run into a lone cougar outside the territory, far beyond the clan territories and he attacked it, it had been coming afte rhim. Now he was nearly dead.

Okamipup grinned her small pink tongue hanging out of her mouth. She glanced toward the leaders den with blatant curiosity. she frowned and stared up at tallfeather with admiration. she then sat down and began heavily scratching her left ear. she licked her nose and went crosseyed looking at her nose before she grinned up at Tallfeather. she bounced up on her hind legs and batted at tallfeather.

"And i thank you, Direstar." Heatherstar said, dipping her head to the SunClan Leader. "May StarClan light you and your Clan's path." Following him out of the den she watched from it's entrance as Direstar was reunited with his warriors and he set off on his journey back to camp. Tearing her gaze away from where they had disappeared the brown and white fae cast around the clearing for the pelts of Lionpup and Brokenpup. It is time that they were apprenticed. She decided quietly, however a grumbling from the general direction of the Medicine Wolf Den distracted her, and se remembered the commotion she had been pulled away from from when she had first arrived at camp. "Shadewhisper." She muttered quietly, turning towards the den and beginning to pad over to it. The sight that met her eyes shortly after entering the den was enough to make her gasp. She stared for a moment at the weak, bloodied body of the Medicine Wolf, trying to process what this might mean. Padding cautiously over to Shadewhisper she mumbled almost inaudibly, "Oh my... StarClan why?", before gently rasping her tongue over the bloody fur over her friend, being careful not to brush his wounds and disturb the dressing that had already been applied. To her great relief she could see the soft, although shallow, rise and fall of his chest, and knew that anyone was strong enough to survive these wounds, Shadewhisper was. Looking round for the Medicine Wolf Apprentice, she called out her name, wanting to ask her for some advise. She did not want to leave him lying on the ground, but was scared to move him in case there were any other injures that they had not yet noticed. Perhaps we could build a nest around him?

SNowflower ran in and pulled to a stop. She looked behind once more. Giving the male five seconds to arrive. If he did, he would win the race for Snowflower had a head start. "Five, four, three, two, one."she chuckled.

Duskfang padded into camp, his ears pinned to his head. There was no particular reason for this, they just happened to have worked their way down there during the run. Spotting Snowflower no that far away he hesitated before padding over to her, his ears slowly raising on his head again. Hearing her countdown his eyes flashed with amusement again.

Snowflower smiled as she saw the male had arrived. "You lose! But you also win!"she said. "You lose the race. But you won a friend."she giggled. Snowflower looked happy, as she always was, looking around, she didn't notice Heather.

Duskfang felt a smile forming on his muzzle. It felt strange... but good. Flicking his ear he sat down, the smile still visible on his muzzle. "Do you mean that?" He asked nervously, shuffling his paws. He had never had a real friend before.

"Of course."she said. "Why wouldn't I?"she smiled. Snowflower's caramel eyes met the brutes. To show she was being totally honest.

Duskfang's smile broadened. "That's great!" He rumbled, allowing his gaze to meet the fae's. He felt happy like never before.

"It sure is!"she said. The petals of the purple rose accessory swayed in the gentle breeze. The sun was setting and the moon was rising. "Shall we go to sleep soon?"she asked.

Duskfang dipped his head in a nod. "I think that it would be appropriate." Casting his eyes around a remembered Direstar and Heatherstar, and wondered what had been exchanged between the two leaders. "I wonder what Direstar said to Heatherstar." He voiced, looking back to Snowflower.

"Maybe he came to make an alliance?"she said. "Or maybe he came to make up for what happened long ago when they were apprentices..."she said. "That was quite a while back."she said. "If it was an alliance, I think that would be good."she smiled.

Duskfang listened intently to the snowy white female but stayed quiet. There were many different reasons that the SunClan leader could have come here, but they wouldn't truly know until Heatherstar made an announcement. That was if she made an announcement. The large brute was aware of the mini feuds and quarrels the two had had when they were younger, but was unaware of the reason their arguments had been necessary. Something must have sparked between them to make them turn against each other, however he was unaware of what that something was.

"It was when the cougar attacked."she smiled. "I could tell you the story, they made up at least."she smiled."But it has a bit a a beginning."she said. "it was also when my sister left the clan."she huffed.

Lionpup smiled at Tallfeather as he came over to join them and listened in silence as he talked to the other pups. A noise behind him made him turn around and he watched as Direstar left with Stoatblaze and Streakfire. He wondered dearly what Direstar had said to Heatherstar, and looked back to Tallfeather and the other pups to carry on with the conversation. He chuckled at Okamipup's words.

Duskfang looked at Snowflower, the smile finally rid from his face. Now his expression was blank. "If you like." He said simply, wondering what had actually happened between Heatherstar and Direstar when they were apprentices.
