The steady hum of voices had lulled the large male to sleep, having found a quiet spot underneath a large bush to lay and wait for the announcements the male had found his eyelids growing heavy. He had slept little and trained hard and now his sore muscles and weary eyes cried out for some rest, seeing as no one had bothered him for a time the male saw no problem with resting his head on his paws and drifting of to sleep. It was a light sleep however, for no one would be foolish enough to dream deeply among so many from different clans, even under the full moon of peace.

The sudden silence was what awoke him, lifting his head the male watched the high rock from his little area, listening intently as each wolf announced the to do's of their pack a frown touching his lips at mention of unpleasant things such as twolegs and leaders and members leaving. It seemed the whole forest was in turmoil, wolves were deserting their clans left and right others simply vanished. The thin layer of peace that had covered the land in a fragile blanket had been broken by the sudden creation of new clan and the joining of others.

Giving his large head a slow sad shake Apachewind pushed himself up into a sitting position, the gathering was drawing to a close as the last leaders spoke their peace. His listened as Graystar spoke of their thriving clan, a ghost of a smile touching his lips. Their clan, his clan was Shadowclan it had always been that way ever since he was born. yet now his world had changed suddenly, dramatically and the normally flexible male had a hard time digesting it. Shrugging he thought. "What's a wolf to do." and with that he let the discomfort of being jumbled together with another clan go, they were no longer an enemy but an ally.

The two leaders had taken a step toward peace rather then war something Apache would always prefer, even if he was suddenly sharing the territory with wolves that smelled like fish. Actually the alliance would give him a great opportunity to study and learn the ways of a Riverclan warrior, for months he had studied the wolves secretly as they fished attempting to mimic their hunting methods. he had come close to catching fish a time or two, but he was lacking a necessary component to his technique- one he could not gather from across the river he had to be closer to the fishing canine. With that pleasant thought the male allowed his attention to wander out among the crowd as he waited for another leader or wolf to address the clans bellow.
