Rainwhisper padded into the clearing, her white paws carrying her over the soft ground. She sighed, her belly swaying with every step, as it was round and plump with pups. She had just gotten an apprentice and she wouldn't let having pups get in the way. She looked up the tree, and jumped up with a great heave of effort. This was going to be a doozy. She sighed and lied up there waiting for the newly named apprentice, closing her eyes for the time being.

Echopaw laughed at her mentor; humor glowing in the she-wolf's eyes. Now wodnering what to do; Echopaw decided to ask her mentor;
"What next?"
Smiling at the spring flowers; Echopaw wodnered if they would surch for herbs next.

Rainhwisper looked around curiously and smirked. "How about some fighting. I haven't fought in a while." the pregnant female smiled with mischief in ever inch of her smile. she was up to something alright.

"Alright, and don't worry, I won't go too easy on you!" Echopaw joked. She smiled brightly as she awaited the battle training. Echopaw also knew she had to be cautious with her mentor, sbe didn't want to harm Rain's pups.

Rainwhisper smirked, her white paws skimming lightly over the earth. "AS I was taught, you learn by doing and not watching. So just come at me... and come at me with force." She smiled with mischief as she positioned herself in front of Echo.

Echopaw thought about it carefully. Most apprentices would just rush stupidly ahead and then get thrown to the ground. Echopaw wasn't too too strong, but she had her witts. Echopaw came up with a plan. She charged foward not quite reaching her mentor yet. She awaited her reaction before sprinting closer to her.

Rainwhisper watched her apprentice, her eyes locked into Echopaw's. Rain had a strange belief that the eyes of a creature revealed all, and so far it had worked out for her. Better yet, he knew how to shield her own intentions. Her brilliant blue eyes watching Echopaw, she saw a strange glint in her eyes, but she sustained a smile as instead she began t back up and away as the apprentice charged.

Echopaw did something Rainwhisper wouldn't expect. She ducked under her mentor's legs then charged ahead. Next; she spun around quickly, picking up more speed as she got closer. She then attempted to leap on her mentor and slash her back.

Rainwhisper darted to the side, only to see Echo go through her legs. She smiled, impressed. Turning quickly, the apprentice flying at her she side stepped in time. As Echo came by she aimed a nip at her flank.

As Echopaw barley felt her fur get nipped by her mentor. She skidded to a halt and then wondered if she should go on. With all her might, Echopaw sprung up towards her mentor.
Starclan.... don't let me miss this time! the she-wolf hoped.

Rainwhisper was already oanting slightly, her load making her clumsier than usual but she held on. She wasn't going to let this bring her down. She turned too late to see Echopaw as she came at her. The female smirked and allowed the female to crash into her. Sh landed heavily on the ground and panted lying there. She did not stand, nor move anything except for her head.

Echopaw clashed with her mentor. She saw her fall back in the dirt. Yowling with hapiness she screeched for all of Starclan to hear;
"VICTORY!!!!"
Then realizing her mentor was on the ground she was dumbfounded. The she-wolf had totally forgotten that her mentor was expecting. Echopaw ran over and nudged her mentor.
"You okay?" She asked, staying on guard incase her mentor got up and attacked.

Rainwhisper panted, and groaned slightly, "I think... I think..." She continued to pant, heavily and as if tired. "I think we should... pause a moment... because." Her eyes became sharp, as she snapped upwards and pushed her head into Echopaw's side.
