WindClan Camp

Heather star watched the jet black male intently as his nervous state became apparent to her, and she wriggled her ears, just waiting. Finally, when his question eventually reached her white tipped ears she felt something inside of her lurch violently, and for a moment the small leader was dumb found. Stunned beyond words for a couple of moments the fae let herself relax, feeling a smile beginning to form upon her muzzle. Never could she of imagined that this was what Swiftstreak had been planning to ask her, and she couldn't have wished for anything else. "Of course." She muttered equally, joy and emotion filling her gaze as she looked up at him. "Yes, of course I will be."

He sat down and copied tallfeathers tilt of his head, when he was older he might get a bit more smarts but for now he was lanky and well stupid. he frowned and asked "wheres my sister? she hasnt been back to camp for two days". his storm gray body shivered in the steadily increasing rain. he shook his head his large pup ears making loud slapping sounds as he did so.

Tallfeather didn't immediately respond to Hurricanepup's question, but his eyes furrowed in concern. The Windclan warrior still had yet to make things right with Okami, heck, to even speak with her. He'd been so caught up in his own pathetic concerns to consider the other wolves he'd gotten caught in his conflict. Sighing, Tallfeather looked back down at the little pup. "Dunno," He said. "But tell ya what, if I see her I'll let you know, alright?"

He vigoursly yanked his head upand down, his pink tongue rolling out of his mouth. he grinned then paraded around tallfeather. his voice was one you would expect of someone completlywithout scense. however as he plonked himself down on the ground and began tohowl. his voice turned into honey, it echoed up toward the stars as he sang.

Tallfeather snorted in amuesment as the pup paraded in a circle around him, his howls ringing up in the cold, damp weather. Settling down on his haunches, Tallfeather absently surveyed camp. His eyes landed on the medicine den - it looked pretty worse for wear. "Hey," Tallfeather nudged ths pup with one paw and jerked his head towards the den. "What happened over there?"

"ragged attacked it cause his brother was hurt i think?" he shrugged he didnt really know. he pounced on tallfeathers tail and chewed on it contentedly. afterleaving huge gobbets of saliva all over it he trotted aroundand sat down. it was kind of sad really, Okami and her brother would probbalybe loved. Okami for hermarkings and herbrother for well his stupidity.

Jadefeather padded into camp with a mouthful of borage. Her eyes began to water from the overpowering scent and she padded as quickly over to the Medicine Den as possible. Making a clear pathway with her feet by nudging away pieces of heather and gorse, Jade padded over o the herb stock and placed the borage to the left where there wasn't so many shredded leaves. Frowning at the distraction Raggedfur had caused, she began to gather up all the useless, shredded leaves into a pile so the den was a bit tidier. Nudging the pile to the edge with her muzzle, Jadefeather picked up a couple of pieces of stray gorse and padded to the camp entrance, weaved them into a small gap that had opened up and began to make her way back to the Medicine Den to tidy it up some more. As she walked, she let out a sigh and and her ears twitched at every sound.

Heather star entered the camp in a weary state, her eyes drooping sleepily and her tail barely avoiding coming into contact with the ground. There was no time to rest though, not now with the news she bared from the border. Flicking her tail she trudged across the clearing, taking a slight de-tour to pass the fresh kill pile on the way. Grasping a hare in her jaws hungrily the brown and whit leader carried it into her den. Settling down in her nest she began to take grateful bites from the hare's flank as she thought about what to tell the Clan.

Jadefeather noticed Heatherstar walk into camp and she waved her tail in greeting to her leader as she walked past her on her way to the leader's den. Heatherstar had looked tiered and exhausted, and the young warrior wondered what was on her mind. Shrugging the black and grey female sauntered over to the fresh kill pile herself and snatched up a piece of juicy looking meat. Settling down she dug into her meal hungrily, enjoying the flavours as they danced on her tongue.

Brokenglare giggled when seeing Hurricanepup fall onto Tallfeather's fur. How cute..., The female thought. She felt a raindrop land on her nose and looked up at the sky. "Oh, rain...", she mumbled. She shaked her fur, not thinking about the fact two wolves were standing around her, Making raindrops fly wildly at Tallfeather and Hurricanepup.

Dawnpaw came into camp, carrying her rabbit. She dropped it onto the fresh-kill pile. She looked at her Clan leader that just came in, looking weary. 'I wonder why?' she thought.

Tallfeather let out a muffled yelp of surprise as his body was smattered with cold raindrops; it took him a moment to realize that Brokenglare had shaken her pelt, spraying him with water. Tallfeather grinned as his concern melted away, and he shot his former apprentice an accusatory glance. Rising to his feet, Tallfeather shook himself as hard and vigerously as he could, pointedly staring at Brokenglare and aiming to drench her with the rain that had collected on his pelt. "Revenge," He stated, a grin curling his muzzle.

Heatherstar wriggled around uncomfortably in her nest, her pelt crawling as if covered in millions of invisible ants. Was she doing the right thing for the Clan? She certainly hoped so, and as she finally took the last bite out of her hare, feeling renewed and ready, she rose steadily to her paws. There was no time to waste if the convoy had to travel to SunClan on the way, so the female was very eager to get things settled with her Clan mates. Shaking her fur out and smoothing it down with a few, quick and swift licks with her tongue she emerged from her den and bounded up onto TallRock, her muzzle raised to the air. "Could all wolves old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath Tallrock for a Clan meeting." Her clear howl rang throughout the camp, alerting all those within the camp walls, and those close beyond it, to assemble as quickly as possible.

Tallfeather snapped his attention to the Tallrock as Heatherstar leaped on top of it and called for the clan to gather. Flashing a furtive glance at Hurricanepup and Brokenglare, Tallfeather trailed his way to the Tallrock and sat down a few feet away. He wondered what had called them together, and why. Yawning, the male waited for her announcement.

Raggedfur pricked his ears in irritation as the voice of Heatherstar permeated the small medicine den. "What in good lord's name do they want now?" He snarled to himself, his eyes lingering on Stormtussle's sleeping figure. Sighing and resigning himself to the decision, Raggedfur decided he'd go hear what Heatherstar had to say, then return to his brothers side. The massive wolf exited the den and sat down in the clearing.

Jadefeather looked up from her meal as Heatherstar called a meeting and the female perked her ears. Quickly finishing the last moursols of her meal, Jade licked the scarlet blood from around her muzzle and padded over towards TallRock. I wonder what Heatherstar's got to say, Jadefeather thought and settled herself down comfortably, ready to listen to the leader's news.

Barkstripe quickly wove his way into cave. He stopped at Heather's call. He flicked his tail and sat down. The ground growing wet. He shook his pelt every now and then. Not wanting to get sick.

Clearing her throat Heatherstar gazed down at the gathered wolves, her passion for her words so strong it was clearly visible in her eyes. "StormClan. The newest Clan, and the Clan that poses the greatest threat to us. ShadowClan, one of the two Clans that you know make up StormClan, has never been fair to WindClan, often attacking with no provocation. They continue to intimidate the wolves around them, believing that they, only, can hold the most power. That they, only, are the greatest. That they, one day, will rule forest." Pausing briefly to gaze out at the Clan again, a small smile curled at her muzzle. "I think that it is time we prove them wrong. The Clan of Storm has gotten too big for it's already oversized boots, and i say no more of their smugness and hunger for power! I say, we teach them a lesson."

It took Tallfeather a moment to realize what Heatherstar was proposing - an attack on Stormclan. For a moment, the Windclan warrior stood paralyzed as cold fear seeped into his bones. He felt as if his heart had dropped into the hollow pit of his churning stomach. Under normal circumstances, Tallfeather would have loved to attack Stormclan. Let Shadestar and his band of hopelessly arrogant wolves be ripped to shreds. Now, though...Stormclan was Skyfeather's home. The home of his pups. If either of them were hurt, Tallfeather wouldn't be able to live with himself. He forced his voice not to crack as he spoke up. "What of pups and queens? Will they be harmed?"

Barkstripe twitched at the thought of attack. He glanced at Raggedfur. That might be his only good use. Barkstripe flicked his tail. Only to hear Tallfeather's voice. He turned to the warrior,and blinked.
He the remembered,that he had pups with Skyfeather. He shook his head. "Of course not. Windclan is not cruel." He mostly felt bad for the male. He flicked his ears. Telling him that he would help. In some way.

Spottedheart padded into camp with a bundle of herbs in her mouth. She happened to walk in right when Heatherstar made the announcement. Instantly her ears shot up in surprise mixed with curiosity. "We're going to attack Stormclan?" She thought, completely surprised. Still, the She-wolf was a bit disgusted by the idea of fighting. Hurrying over to the Medicine Wolf Den, Spottedheart set down her herbs. "Let's see, if there's going to be a battle, we need plenty of Marigold and cobwebs." The She-wolf began to sort through the herbs she had collected.

Bluepaw followed right beside Spottedheart. "Battle?!" He rushed into the medicine den, sitting beside Spottedheart. Bluepaw dropped the herbs by hers, then looked in her direction, smiling.

Heatherstar's bright blue eyes sought out Tallfeather as his voice floated up to her, but before she could open her jaws to give a reply, Barkstripe had nswered for her. "Barkstripe is correct. No WindClan warrior is permitted to harm any pups, or for that matter nursing queens. I am rather surprised you asked that; WindClan has never been murderous and cruel in battle, so I see no reason to change such tactics now." The leader's voice was firm and somewhat calm, as if she had given up worrying and just decided to, as it were, 'go with the flow'. She knew exactly why Tallfeather had been so anxious to ask that questions, and was sure that he would undoubtedly want to know wether his mate and pups were going to be harmed. The She-wolf had decided that the battle would be a good chance to test where the male's loyalties lied, and dearly hoped that he would make the right choices when the time came for him to do so. "StormClan is a large Clan, so in order to take them on, SunClan have agreed to aid us. SunClan is our ally and we shall help eachother as we battle against our foes. Before we launch our attack, the battle convoy will need to travel to SunClan so that we can meet Direstar's own army and launch into battle together. If anyone has any queries they wish to ask before I inform you of the chosen warriors and apprentices, I ask you to speak now."

Jadefeather lashed her tail as Heatherstar's words reached her ears. A faint, sly grin appeared on her face and the pretty black and grey female sprung to her feet. StormClan deserve to get taught a lesson or two from Windclan, Jade thought eagerly and shook her fur as the rain began to seep through to chill her. She heard Tallfeather speak up and she felt a small pool of pity well up inside her for the male. His mate was in StormClan along with his pups... But they weren't going to attack the queens and pups. That would be an act of evil. WindClan weren't evil. Heatherstar not StarClan would never allow it. Her tail quivered a little as she waited to see if she'd be joining the battle parade. She didn't want to miss out on this battle, especially against StormClan. When Heather mentioned them allied with SunClan, she felt a buzz go through he but she wasn't sure why. It was a good thing SunClan were joining them too, right?

Tallfeather nodded slowly, but he wasn't assured. What would Skyfeather thing of him if he were involved in the battle? Stormclan was her home, home of the wolves she loved. Torn between loyalty to his clan and his family, Tallfeather sighed and gritted his teeth. He couldn't think about that right now. He had to do what was best for him and his clan - and if Skyfeather interfered, well, he would deal with that when it happened.

Barkstripe dipped his head at Heatherstar. But he still noticed Tallfeather's frustration. He sighed and flicked his tail. He'll just have to learn what to do. He then blinked and flicked his tail again.

Swiftstreak strolled into camp in the middle of heatherstar's talk. The male sat far away near tthe entrance as tallfeather and others talked the male stayed quiet. He's bitter dislike of shadowclan was worser then he's puphood rivalry with Direstar, as he remembered how shadowclan could get away with murder and unjust battles and not be punished. The males fur bristled a little as a pulse of hate burned in him.
