WindClan Camp

Heather star watched the jet black male intently as his nervous state became apparent to her, and she wriggled her ears, just waiting. Finally, when his question eventually reached her white tipped ears she felt something inside of her lurch violently, and for a moment the small leader was dumb found. Stunned beyond words for a couple of moments the fae let herself relax, feeling a smile beginning to form upon her muzzle. Never could she of imagined that this was what Swiftstreak had been planning to ask her, and she couldn't have wished for anything else. "Of course." She muttered equally, joy and emotion filling her gaze as she looked up at him. "Yes, of course I will be."

"Ah."she said. "She went on a trip."said the Fae. "What's wrong?"she asked. The Fae smiled.

Heatherstar padded into camp well behind the rest of the Clan after having lagged behind at the Gathering. The camp seemed oddly quiet as she hesitated near the centre of the clearing, and she looked around rather distractedly as she heard her name being spoken. Did someone need her? She wondered as her eyes met the two pelts of Snowflower and Stormtussle as they conversed nearby. Making her way over to both wolves Heatherstar dipped her head in greeting and looked intently up at Stormtussle. "Is everything alright?" She asked the warrior, curious as to know why her name had been mentioned in his and the deputy's conversation.

Duskfang yawned groggily as he awoke from his deep slumber, peeling his eyes open reluctantly and issuing and grunt of disapproval as the sunlight dazzled his eyes. Shaking his head lazily the multi-coloured brute exited the warriors' den and made straight for the freshkill pile, taking the most direct route and cutting right through the centre of the clearing. Snatching a chunk of meat from a particularly large animal balancing precariously on the top most point of the pile he settled himself down in a nearby patch of sunlight and began gnawing hungrily at his meal. He payed no attention to the wolves around him, and instead contented himself on stripping his meal of every scrap of meat his could find.

Jadefeather padded into camp with the mouse swinging from her jaws. It wasn't the hunt she had hoped for but something had told her that she needed to come back to camp. Placing the mouse down on the fresh-kill pile, Jadefeather glanced around camp to see who was around. Spotting Duskfang, she smiled seeing her old mentor tearing into the meat and felt herself relax a little seeing he was okay. She hadn't seen the male in a while and the thought of him made Jade think of Snowflower. Surely her pups are due soon, she thought and glanced around camp for the WindClan deputy.

Snowflower smiled. "Of course."she said. She turned to Heather. "Heather! Welcome back."she smiled. "Heather, Tigerfern of SunClan wishes to join WindClan after leaving it."she said. "How does that sound?"she asked. Her eyes drifted to her mate as she smiled sweetly.

Heatherstar smiled up at Snowflower as she received a cheerful welcome from the deputy, and decided that she would be more comfortable sitting down. Lowering her rump the the grassy floor, making the fae look smaller still, she fixed Snowflower with an unreadable stare, listening intently to what she had to say. By the time that Snowflower had finished speaking, the WindClan leader's pelt was bristling angrily. "SunClan?" She growled resentfully as if speaking the very word pained her greatly. "It sounds like they are trying to sneak a spy into the very heart of out camp. How can we know that she can be trusted? Clearly SunClan has proven that under the rein of Ripplestar, the trust of other's to them is something that they do not value in the slightest?"

Snowflower huffed. "Come on Heather."she said. "You were never the one who would jump to conclusions."she sighed. "Besides, if Stormtussle is acting so calm about a fae for once, she might not be so bad."said the deputy. She knew Heather. She never judged a book by it's cover. But now, it was as if Heather read the prologue and skipped the rest of the contents.

Jadefeather listened to Snowflower and Heatherstar's conversation. She knew she probably shouldn't be listening into a conversation betweenthe Clan Leader and Deputy but there was nothing else really to do. She realised Heather was no longer fond of Sunclan and she gave a little huff. Everything was changing.

Heatherstar snorted and stood up reluctantly, giving her tail a sharp, agitated flick. She didn't need Snowflower to tell her who she used to be. What used to be wasn't as important as what was happening in the present, as far as the Leader was concerned. Just one look at each Clan in the forest gave her more than enough information to confirm that. "If you take me to this wolf, then I might reconsider, but until then, this wolf shall remain a enemy to WindClan." Turning to Stromtussle, she began speaking to the male instead. "Where is this wolf, exactly?"

Barkstripe quickly took the young doe to camp. He dropped it beside the fresh-kill pile,then moved his jaw. Which was aching from dragging it into camp. He then spat out some dirt from his mouth. He then licked the blood from his pelt and muzzle. He heard that they were now an enemy of Sunclan.
He stood up and stretched his legs. "I'm sorry if I'm interrupting,but we have an alliance with Thunderclan. If you dislike them,why not attack Sunclan?" He then turned and stated to lick the rest of the blood off his pelt.

Jadefeather turned and watched as Barkstripe dragged the Doe into camp. "Well done." She barked or making such a good catch. Hearing what he said next made her frown a little. "Are you proposing we attack SunClan? And what would we say our motive was for attacking them?" Jadefeather spoke and flicked her tail.

Barkstripe nodded to Jade. "Yeah thanks." Je flicked his ears at her other reply. "I'm not sure,but Heqtherstar looks like she'd like to."

Jadefeather cast a glance over to Heatherstar and gave a wary smile before looking back at Barkstripe. "Yea..." She mumbled and shivered. "I don't want another battle. The last one want horribly wrong." she barked, looking down at her paws.

Barkstripe nodded. "I don't want to battle as well. But the leader's words are law." He snorted and flexed his claws. He then glanced up. "I'm going to sleep. That hunt took a lot out of me." He turned and padded to the warrior's den. He then slumped into his nest. He yawned and curled up. Wrapping his tail around him.

Jadefeather nodded agreeing with Barkstripe and flicked her ears in farewell as he left. Mentioning his hunt, Jade cast a glance over to the fresh kill pile and chuckled to herself. How did he manage to catch a doe and me only a mouse, she shook her head and smiled. Her catch looked measles and pathetic on the fresh kill pile.

Barkstripe curled up tight and closed his dreary eyes. He yawned and closed his maw. Bark felt the ground beneath him soften,them disappear all together. He lowered his ears and lightened his touch on the ground.

Brokenglare noticed Heatherstar, who just had arrived at the camp, and someothers have a conversation with a rather intresting topic. She sat down by them and looked at them with her always so awkward smile. "Hi, what's going on here?", she asked in a friendly manner.

Hurricanepup returned to the camp slightly muddy but otherwise fine. He trotted over to Amberpaw and sat down beside her yawning a little. He looked up at her "i hope your warrior ceremony is soon! i want to be your apprentice" he stared at the apprentice with loving eyes, she was the most beautiful creature the pup had ever seen.

"The Windover Farm?" Heatherstar repeated mistily, going over the details that she had been given by the two in her head. The story didn't seem too unbelievable; wolves had surely left their birth Clans to join others before. In fact, they were frequently doing so, so with a decisive nod of her head the WindClan leader turned to face Brokenglare. "A SunClan female has turned up on our territory claiming that she had left SunClan to join WindClan. I would ask if you and Stormtussle would be willing to retrieve her from the Windover farm and bring her back to camp so that I and Snowflower may speak to her and accept or decline her before the whole Clan. Take Jadefeather with you too as a precaution, just in case there are any others lurking about. Right now, I have some ceremonies to perform." And with that, the honey coated female trotted away towards TallRock and bounded up it without a further word on the subject. She trusted that she had made herself clear enough. "Let all those old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath TallRock for a Clan meeting!"

"I see...", Brokenglare replied to her leaders answer. As she heard her order, she stood up. "Okay", she replied quickly. She looked at Stormtussle for a bit, his face looked a bit weird and his ears was laying down, she wondered what he was thinking about. She shook her fur clean from dirt and other things that had got stuck in the quite-so-long pelt of hers.

(Should the patrol be after the clan meeting or now?

Jadefeather nodded as she was instructed to go with Brokenglare and Stormtussle to Windover Farm. She doubted they'd need her but a Leader's word was law. Hauling herself to her paws, she padded over to Brokenglare wondering if she wanted to set off now or after the meeting. She wondered who the ceremonies were for. Amberpaw's probably ready to become a warrior now... and Hurricanepup's six moons old, she thought and twitched her tail a little.
