Falconwing training Otterpaw

Falconwing sat at the edge of the clearing, his pelt dappled with the light shadows of the forest. He smiled as the breeze rushed by as he waited. His apprentice was like his own son and he'd try his best to train him to be the best. The male smiled and perked his ears, any sound coming to him loudly. He hummed softly in the wait, ideas already forming in his head.

The pup who had fallen from the sky appeared on the edge of his mentors vision, his dappled brown and white pelt blending in well with the new leaf foliage. he perked his ears his eyes now perfectly dark brown now. no trace of blue left he wagged his tail and trotted up to falconwing "what are we going to do paps?" he asked curiously

Falconwing smiled, the word paps still strange sounding. Falconwing smiled excitedly, but now it wasn't Otterpup it was Otterpaw, so he couldn't go easy on the male. The large brute stood up, "Well pal, lets see. Warriors hunt and fight for the clan. So we'll start out with a bot o' fighting, ready?" Falcon's one belief, you learn by doing.

Otterpaw nodded and without waiting for an ok he leapt at his father figure. he aimed for his paw his paws stretched outl. his brown pelt dappled in the sunlight. his mouth was open with excitement. he laughed.

Falconwing moved swiftly to the left avoiding Otter's sudden attack. The large male watched the brown wolf with an excitement in his eyes. He aimed a nip at his hindquarters and growled softly. Otter would learn and he would learn very quickly.

Otterpaw yelped as Falconwings attack hit his hindquarters. he dashed off into the bushes his tail between his legs. shaking himself he psyched himself up and growled shakily. he charged out of the bushes his tail still between his legs and attacked aiming to sink his teeth into his mentors muzzle.

Falconwing blinked as Otterpaw ran off and frowned. Awe, no he's fine... He just had enough time to think that as the brown apprentice charged at him. Falcon moved to the side but tripped over the trees root in a way. Thebrute fell with a mighty thumo and it rattled him slightly, his gaze unfocused until he could stand up once more.
