| The land shook, the trees were melting, the bushes were on fire. The fire crackled, and the silent plains were suspicious. The young wolf let out a muffled screech - it was unheard under all the fire's crackling, and the tree's crashing falls.
She ran, ran faraway. Not realizing that all her loved ones were drowning in the fire. All their hopes and dreams hallowed away. They died, and she was unaware. The tears that left her eyes blinded her. She ran until her legs gave way.................
The drip drop of a nearby river stirred her to reality. Giving a short yawn, she stretched, brushed the dream to the side, and made her way, slowly, to the stiff river. Looking it once over, she scrunched up her nose, and dipped down her head, sipping up a gulp if water. Satisfied, Echopup grinned to herself.
There was a low crack. Like a dead leaf that was cracked under pressure. Echopup rose a brow, and, ears perked, looked around sheepishly. A dark figure caught her eye. She froze, blood rushing to her head as her lips parted in a snarl. Her paws grasped against the cold earth. She did not move. Heck, she didn't seem to even breath. Her bright amber eyes burning at the hidden creature, waiting for it to make it's move.

Mosspup heard a noise and saw a pup. She walked up to the pup. "Hi! I am Mosspup! WHo are you?" The pup wagged her tail at her. |
