ThunderClan Camp

Featherpup woke to soft whispers and shuffeling paws outside. She stood up in the large, spacious den (well, its very large to her). She arched her back and streached out her front paws, looking like a tiny, glossy black kitten at first glace. She poked her head out of the entrance, narrowing her eyes as the sun's glare met her. Through the blinding white light, she could see Swiftpaw, Blackhawk, and Phoenix standing outside. must be a dawn patrol.... she thought to herself, snuggling back in the warm moss.

Rainstar's ears twitched, as she rubbed her muzzle with her front paws. She rolled over and letut a loud yawn. She looked around groggily, and stood up stretching. she padded outside seeing Phoenixfire, Blackhawk and Swiftpaw getting ready. She smiled and noded to them. She stood outside the apprentice, "Featherpaw, Lunapaw!" She called out quietly. "We are going to do chores around the camp c'mon!" Her voice was excited, but she knew the taskl was boring. I will help them for a bit. She though as she waited.

Phoenixfire, flicked his tail a little bored he sighed and turned leading the patrol out of camp, nightpaw would just have to catch up.

Blackhawk walked out behind him, tail wagging. He smiled excitedly.

Rainstar sat outside the den, waiting for the apprentices. It was going to take some getting used to but if they didn't wake up soon, she would go in herself and drag them out herself. She chuckled thinking about it.

Lunapaw made her way out of the den blinking in the brightsunshine she looked over and saw rainstar and bounced over to her then stopped as she watched phoenixfire and black hawk leave the camp she pouted a little bit "i want to go on patrol not clean camp" she made a face

Rainstar felt like being evil, "Awe well guess what? With me all we do is clean camp." She smiled slyly, of course if they did a good job she would take them out.

Lunapaw fell to the ground and sighed, she pushed herself up and shook out her coat "what do we have to do first" she questioned, her eyes squinting in the bright light. she murmured softly to herself "better to hunt in the dark after all"

Rainstar smiled, "Outside there is a tree, with a lot of moss on it. Go collect some and remake all the nests. I will have Featherpaw doing other stuff."

Lunapaw nodded then turned trotting out of the camp, she soon found the tree and sat down, she began raking her claws through the moss. her ears pinned back she continued scraping at the moss. her muscles bulging as she wroked. the more moss she collected the more accurate her swipes got.

Rainstar smiled, she chuckled and went to collect the old moss herself. She worked quickly and soon had a few old mossballs outside each den.

Swiftpaw finished up and quickly followed blackhawk and Phoenix out of the camp

Lunapaw walked back into camp with moss in her mouth, she glared a ltitle at swiftpaw, lucky furball she thought. walking back in she walked over to rainstar and said muffledly through the moss that she had in her mouth "is this enough?"

Rainstyar smiled, "Almost." She went outside to help a bit. She wasn't going to let them have all the fun. In less than a few minutes she had enough moss to fill in for the mssing. She smiled and dropped the moss.

Lunapaw sat down and began trying to make big soft nests for the queens and pups. her eyes narrowed she worked diligently

Featherpaw exploded out of the den, green moss flecks weaved into her black fur. "Sorry!" she yipped, darting over to where Rainstar was. "I was dreaming and i thought the hollering was coming from my dream," she puffed quickly.

Rainstar chuckled, "It's fine. C'mon I'm going to show you where to put these old moss balls." she led Featherpaw outside. She came back in to see what other horrible task she could make them do.

Featherpup followed Rainstar quickly, eager to learn all she could.

Rainstar watched them finish. "Good job, now we are going to make the camp look nice an dclean." she motioned to all the leaves scattered around the camp.

"Ok! Got it!" Featherpaw had barely gotten the words out of her mussel. She dashed over to the leaves, rushing past them as a streak of lightning. She ran around in circles, the leaves catching in her gusts and starting to form in some small piles around camp. Featherpaw slowed down and eventully came to a stop, still having plenty of energy left over. SHe glanced back at the pile she had made. "Well, thats a little bit of the camp done!" she barked enthusiasticly. As long as Featherpaw was up and moving quickly, even the most boring of tasks were exciting.

Rainstar smiled, the apprentices had excitement which was good. She smiled, "Alright now you can take a break." she yawned, she was a bit bored. Ugh I should be helping and not being lazy. she chuckled as the glare of the sun got stronger overhead.

"Take a break? No way! The camp is a mess, and i still have alot of good running left in me!" Featherpaw barked, dashing across the clearing, a wave of leaves following her, over to the warriors den. She began running around in circles again, piles of leaves starting to slowly pop up all over camp as the tiny apprentice raced all over the clearing, still leaving plenty of room in case Lunapaw and Rainstar wanted to join in the fun.

Rainstar laughed and then stopped as an idea popped into her head. She went over to the leaf piles and began piling them up together. She smiled as mor e appeared and the mound got higher. She looked at it, "maybe I should have put these outside, oh well." She shrugged and watched the leaf pile grow.

Featherpaw stopped running, another pile of leaves finished. She looked up and gasped. "Giant leaf pile!" she screeched, dashing across the clearing. She plumated head first into the pile, an explosion of leaves scattering. She poked her head out of the pile, bits of leaf embedded into her fur. "Sorry....ill clean it up," she said, looking around at the leaves scattered away from the pile.

Lunapaw giggled then raced around picking up leaves in her mouth, and storing some under her chin, she raced to the dirt tunnel and dropped them there then ran out and barked "They would make good bedding for the dirt place wouldnt they?"
