New site

Hello everyone! Lately I've been feeling as if the website has been a little disorganized, and I think it might be time for a new chapter in the journey of TFC! We've been around for over a year now, and maybe it's time to move on to another website?

We are thinking about having a plot where the members must move to a new territory, and I know many of you have been interested about that in the past. Reply with whether you think this is a good idea, and vote above regarding the future of the website!

I think that we should stick to forumotion. I think most of the current members and such are more used to Forumotion. Plus, at Proboards, I believe that you have to be 13+ to make an account.

Pretty indifferent about moving or not, but if we do, I vote for staying on forumotion. Proboards is kind of annoying to navigate if you don't have the right skins and all that junk, plus it requires more coding if you wanna have addons, 'cause its HTML based and all that. The site is also pretty inactive right now, though, so I suppose a move would cleanse TFC of all the people that have died over the past few months. Either way, I don't really mind, I just prefer forumotion over proboards anyday.

Oh, and if we do move sites, will this one be kept up? I really hope so, yaknow, for old times sake and what not :b.

I like the idea of staying with forumotion with the same layout, I do think that we need to get a new URL though, so yes, but stay with the layout and foruomtion

I think that we should stay. Maybe change around the layout a bit. Though it might be a good idea to move,I agree with Raggedfur here. We might get more members and so on,but if we do move,lets keep the old site going.

I simply cannot decide on what to say. Moving to another forumotion site would be nice, but what about all the posts and crystals everyone had saved up?

Also, if we do move to another website, would there be like chosen wolves like the cats in the books?

If by chosen wolves, you mean like wolves who get a special part like exploring the territory? Perhaps, but if we do have that, we would either select a wolf at random, hold a contest, or you would sign-up.

Hmm, I like the idea of moving at keeping the same layout. It will just be so much easier. For a lot of us, not as much to do if you keep the same layout and all. I also agree with Ragged, this site should stay up if we move.

Feather, I mean like Brambleclaw, Tawnypelt, Feathertail, and Crowpaw. Like, going on a journey ad such?

Id want shadestars opinion on that.

Mhmm. Although, some of those "chosen characters" would be after voulenteering/signing up/on your own. We haven't exactly worked out all of the details, though, but the odds of everyone having at least one character with a "special" thing (whether it includes dieing or a surprise ;]) are pretty high, I would think so.

So perhaps TFC can move to the lake if I understand everyone correctly? Because that would be super rad!

I think we could have all the same characters and clans moved to the new site. Acting from there,onto whatever plot we have. So its like a sequel to this site.
Yet,keep this site and just play how we usually do...(Thats a terrible explanation)

i don't think that we should move the clans to the lake, because of sunclan and stormclan. It would be better to tailor make a territory to each clan, ie stormclans is marshy and rivery, thunderclan could be in a thick forest while windclan have the more open territory, sunclans territory could be in a ravine like skyclan or something

That or,within the plot in the new site,(if we are going),we can bring back the original four clans. Been having random dreams on this lately...

Unless if we move lets say Stormclan breaks up with a dramatic fight or something. Then they move on and discover new territory. Later the rest of the clans follow in worry for Shadowclan/Riverclan. That's all I've got :/ just putting it out there.

Then another random idea is that a prophecy leads them to a conclusion of the end for them. They prepare to travel (we could make the journey there a big plot or something). Then they have to adapt to the new territory and such. Later they send back a group of chosen warriors to find that the old territory had truly been destroyed.

Lame ideas, but just thought I'd share them just in case

But good idea. I think that we should go back to the original clans if we are going to make a new site. Make up a prophecy with it if we will. It will add to the suspense 0.0

I would like there to be RiverClan and ShadowClan again, but at the same time, I think it is up to StormClan and SunClan since it would affect them [and maybe only them?]

Yeah it would be awkward and hard to bring it back to the original clans. Then we also have the house dogs to think about. Over time we just kept adding clans here and there. Meaning if we are talking about going back to the original clans they would have to figure something out. I wouldn't want to cause chaos with all if the additional clans.

But chaos might be fun

Possibly, but we will have to talk with some others and find out what exactly we want to do.

We already have the role-play plot settled, don't worry about it.

And I don't know why you guys are so adamant about bringing back ShadowClan/RiverClan. I rather like them sticking together, and I don't see why they would start fighting since they've been generally mellow together since they've formed. You never know what'll happen in RP, I suppose, but we'll see how it works out.

But trust me, we'll get to the new lands. I'd like them to be nothing like the books- to be unique and interesting and fun. I'll be thinking about new territories but I also have a lot of other work to do preparing for this site. I'll try my best.

Okay so now I have to ask, since it seems we will be moving. What will happen to Superclan? I know only a few are active there, (including myself) but if that clan were not to make it, we could still use our characters right?
