Jasper is a shy and quiet dog who only stays around those he knows, if he can find them. He’s close to his sister; Tourmaline is his closest, and probably only, friend. He is afraid of thunder and storms, and fears floods, and usually overthinks things that could happen to him and the dogs he’s nearby. He worries a lot, and isn’t that calm. Jasper is sweet and caring, and a very good friend. He’s loyal and is brave when he needs to stand up for his friends. Jasper is kind, and though isn’t always the best at speaking to new dogs or those he doesn’t know, he tries his best to be nice. He isn’t adventurous and dislikes exploring, but as he’s been used to it for most his life, he’s fine with it now. He dislikes changes as well, and wants to find one place to live in and stay there.

History: Jasper and his sisters, Tourmaline and River, were born on Cecil Boulevard. They are all purebred dogs. As there were only three pups, the owners decided to keep them all. Tourmaline and River were the more, not necessarily annoying, but somewhat the meanest of the litter. Jasper was the quiet and shy pup who mainly stayed by their house. At the age of a year, their owners left, taking the pups' parents with them but leaving the pups. They were alone, and had to leave the house after a while. They became strays; and tried finding a pack. They couldn't find anything, and after months of living on the streets in a different part of Hartford, their sister, River, left to start her own pack. Jasper and Tourmaline didn't go with her. They were now just under two years old, and Tourmaline decided they could try seeing if there was room for them in the forest. Instead, upon meeting up with some wolves from one of the Clans, they were made to leave. Jasper wanted to go back and see if they could find their housefolk. Tourmaline said no, and the two traveled on. When they were two years and five months, a dogcatcher came, taking Jasper and moving him far away from his sister. He was at the pound for a month longer, and when someone came to take him, Jasper ran out and bolted away as fast as he could. He's been living around the downtown suburbs and Marsden park, and hasn't seen his sisters since. He hopes to find Tourmaline, and wonders if she's in a pack or if he could join.
Facts
- Jasper had been captured and brought to the pound, which led to him getting lost from Tourmaline
- Jasper’s sister, River, is actually a character I roleplayed on a previous stray dog roleplay on this site (River was a leader in the roleplay, so in Jasper’s history, River left to start her own pack because of this)
- Jasper’s and most of his family’s names all have to do with gemstones
- Jasper was originally a housepet, though he’s now a stray.
