Old RiverClan Camp

A camp is a site where a Clan makes its permanent home. It is where the wolves sleep, meet, bring fresh-kill,get treated for injuries or illness, receive orders, and make reports to the Clan leader or deputy. Some wolves, such as queens, kits and elders stay in the camp, while the warriors, deputy and leader patrol the territory and hunt. Each Clan has one camp.

Despite the fact that RiverClan and ShadowClan had combined, both camps are still used frequently by each Clan.

Abruptly, the clan leader awoke as the moon's light shined upon the camp. Yawning, Lilystar slowly hauled herself onto all fours and stretched in her den. After when all her senses sharpened, the female padded out under the bright moonlight. Her iris' shined into a shade of deep blue, as she searched for anyone who was awake at this time of night.

Icefire sneezed, stirring up a couple of leaves, her amber eyes sparkled in the night. With her grey pelt, she probably stood out like a sore paw. The warrior sat under a tree at the edge of camp, just watching, for what? She had no clue. Icefire wondered if anyone was about at this time, perhaps only bats and raccoons would be out at this time, she stood and took a long stretch before sitting back down, it wasn't known how long she'd been out here, all alone.

Seeing a clanmate, the leader stopped, surprised to see someone up. The female blinked, and made her way to her clanmate, Icefire. "Oh hello, Icefire." She said solemnly. With a nod, she sat down and awaited the warrior's response.

Icefire stood at the sound of her Leaders voice, she face her. Dipping her head she said "Hello Lilystar, I wouldn't think to see you up at this time of night..?" she questioned slightly, she had a curious mind, and maybe that wasn't all a good thing. She sat down again, looking towards the sky. "Its beautiful out" she said out loud.

The female nodded lightly. "Why yes it is." Lilystar looked up, and enjoyed seeing her ancestors. "Now, why are we the only one's up at this time of night?" The leader spoke in a joking matter.

A large russet-colored she-wolf padded out of the den and stretched out her long legs before trotting up silently behind the two talking she-wolves,"I wouldn't say the only ones up" Foxheart stated as she sat on the other side of Lilystar,"Anything happening?" She asked, turning her head toward Lilystar ,"Or just a little mid-night chat?" she said after a moment in an amused tone

The leader jolted when she heard another voice. "Oh hello, Foxheart." She said while giving a nod to the female warrior. Chuckling at the female's comment, she replied "Late night chat, I guess."

Mooncloud walks comfortably through the camp, glancing at her fellow packmates, and their leader. She shrugs, and sits down a fair distance away, but close enough to listen to the conversation. She tilts her head, blinking her icy eyes, and the lying down, licking her gray paws. She twitches her ears, listening to the chit-chat, and sighs, glancing up at the three. Will I ever feel comfortable around the others? I've lived with them my while life, yet, I do not feel comfortable near them. She thinks, blinking her silvery-blue eyes.

FoxHeart chuckled and looked up at the moon. The she-wolf watched it for several moments before feeling someones gaze on her, FoxHeart looked at the gray female laying not far from them. She blinked her fiery ember eyes, looking past the she-wolf she noticed a faint outline of a wolf by the medicine den, she blinked again and its was gone. Foxheart snorted and turned her attention back to her leader,"yes, it is a nice night out for chatting" She rumbled.

Mooncloud watches as the fiery female looked in her direction, and tilts her head. She watches as something, close to surprise flashes across the other female's face and blinks, twisting to look behind herself.

Seeing Mooncloud; a she-wolf who still felt uncomfortable around others, the leader sighed. Hauling her body onto all fours, Lilystar padded over to the shy female. "Why hello, Mooncloud." The clan leader said nicely.

Mooncloud looks up at Lilystar and blinks. "Hello, Lilystar," She replies quietly, sitting up slowly and curling her tail around her paws.

"I have yet to see you interact more, Mooncloud." She says quietly, with a soft smile spread upon the leader's face. "No need to be too shy. We are all friendly here." She laughed slightly, thinking about how rude some people can get.

Mooncloud nods. "I know. I just don't like being near those I don't know," She whispers glancing at the others.

Foxheart stood and flicked her short tail as she saw the outline again standing behind Lilystar and Mooncloud, the outline turned and trotted into her den, Foxheart growled slightly and made her way past Lilystar and Mooncloud, her eyes set on the den.

Seeing Riverclan's new appointed medicine wolf walk past, Lilystar seemed concerned. Not wanting to be rude and leave Mooncloud, she nodded in response. Suddenly, the Riverclan leader seemed worried.

Riversong stands up, and twitches her ears, looking at Lilystar quietly. She nods toward Foxheart silently, and then starts her walk toward The River, feeling the need to be alone, and to let her emotions out in her own way.

Icefire looked around, she must of fell asleep, she forgot what had happened. She stood and shook her pelt after blinking a few times she sat down again. Wasn't I susposed to do something today? she questioned herself in her mind. Perhaps I'll ask Lilystar sometime. She laid back down and sighed.

The female leader awoke, and stretched silently in her den. With a sigh, she walked out of her den, embracing the sunlight through the trees.

FoxHeart opened her eyes and yawned. The she-wolf's puffy flicked from side to side as she stretched out her long limbs before following a tunnel to the main area of her den. Herbs lay, scattered around on the floor, FoxHeart sighed and brushed them up in a pile with her tail out of the den. She turned back around and began looking through her storage of herbs before sighing again and thought as she padded out of her den,"need more chervil, coltsfoot, comfrey Root, and Dock"

Riversong pads back into the camp, silent as usual and scans the landscape. She spots another warrior, Grayheart, and walks over to the other female. She sits down beside the fellow warrior quietly, studying her out of the corner of her eyes, while also keeping a watch out for anything that might approach. "Hello," She says quietly, hoping the other female would respond, and continue to talk, so Riversong herself wasn't forced to help much in the conversation, other than a few nods or non-verbal noises.

The female sighed and watched over her clan, as many things were going on in her head for a while. She watched as Foxheart was mumbling about something with her herbs, and watched as the shy Riversong spoke to Grayheart. Her clan was blossoming into something good, something fresh. The female leader smiled at the warm thought.
