Can you guess the riddle?

First topic message reminder :

This is different from the rest. (I think.) You put in a riddle, and the rest of the players have to ask yes or no questions to guess the answer, once one riddle is answered, post a new one. I will start the with the first riddle.

Sally, Johnny, Bri, and Nate all live in the same house. Bri and Johnny went to the movies and left Sally and Nate all alone. When they returned Nate was dead on the floor with glass and water surrounding him, and Sally was peacefully sleeping on the couch. What happened?
(If you know the answer please don't ruin the fun, thanks!)

Ok here's another.
Billy had two pets. H loved his pets very much. He cared for them everyday, he also took them to work every day. One day while at lunch, Billy left his pets in his work area. When he came back, both of his pets had died. Billy panicked and ran out, warning all of his co-workers. Can you guess whats going on? Can you guess what kind of pets they were?

Hmmmmm tough one to crack…

Hmm. Were the pets canaries and was there some sort of a gas leak or something at Billy's work?

That would make sense since miners actually used small birds like canaries to tell whether their tunnels were filled with toxic gas.

Yeah. That's my guess. If that's not it then I give up, lol.

Wow good job, Lightning and Apache. The birds were canaries and the toxic gas: monoxide would kill them instantly showing miners that there was some danger. Nice job!

Does it have to do with time?

I'm not sure how to answer that. It is a yes and no situation, yes it does have some things to do with time, and yet no. >>

Okay so is it the near future?

Yes but you have to be more specific as to what this near future is, it always happens you always now it will happen and can look forward to it. (probably am giving to much hints. xD)

Is it fortune?

No....Hmm now should i put it.....Sometimes one looks forward to it because it means the end of one thing and the beginning of another....oh it is so hard to make good hints without flat out saying it.

I think i've got one more guess then i'll let everyone else try and figure it out...

Is it a future life?

That's my last guess...
