Can you guess the riddle?

First topic message reminder :

This is different from the rest. (I think.) You put in a riddle, and the rest of the players have to ask yes or no questions to guess the answer, once one riddle is answered, post a new one. I will start the with the first riddle.

Sally, Johnny, Bri, and Nate all live in the same house. Bri and Johnny went to the movies and left Sally and Nate all alone. When they returned Nate was dead on the floor with glass and water surrounding him, and Sally was peacefully sleeping on the couch. What happened?

lol Don't worry Lightning, I wouldn't even had been able to guess at all since i miss even the most obvious of things.

I shall post a riddle as there are none to solve at this moment. Keep in mind that I am gone for half of the day, so I shall reply once I get the chance xD

Theres this man, and he lives on the 24th floor of a building. Every morning, he takes the elevator down to the lobby, but on his way home, he takes the stairs. Though on rainy days, he takes the elevator up. Why is that?
