Reason for Song Choices:
This is Gallifrey- This post wouldn't be complete without something from Doctor Who. Chose this one because it's just so epic, and I think it fits TFC quite well.
Heart of Courage - This song reminds me of the Four Clans, the courage in the hearts of every member, the hardships they face, and the bravery they show as they are given crap from mother nature and each other. This song has a haunting yet inspiring feel to it, we can feel the lose, the triumph, the sacrifice, and the love. We cheer when we are victorious, have picked ourselves back up when we have lost, supporting one another and mourning together when we have lost loved ones. These are the Four Clans, they are the same, even though they do not accept it.
We Are One- We may be four but at heart we are all one. Working fighting side by side we have flaws and make mistakes. We go through hard times but we support eachother no matter what. Nothing can be stronger when we combine. Having pride and explains life and our support for one another.
No Church in the Wild - I just think the song gives off a "powerful" sort of vibe, and at parts the beat gets very closed off and intense. There are a few moments in the song where it gets quirky and incorporates several styles of music, symbolizing the differences between the four clans and all their seperate personalities.
The Sacrifice - It sounds like a mix of anticipation and worry, emotions often found before clan events such as battles and ceremonies. Also because the name alludes to the fact that Clan Wolves promise to defend their clan with their life upon death.
Cosmic Love- Well, it fits Starclan very well. It's talking about the stars and the moon. So that's Starclan taken care of. The reason it fits Thunderclan is because there has been so much tragedy in that clan, so much betrayal. This song sums up all the emotion that that clan has experienced. It fits Windclan because they are overshadowed, waiting, wanting to be respected, yet they are called the weakest because they have even more love and trust then Thunderclan. Riverclan is the beauty of this song. As I have already said, this song is clearly about longing and suffering, and the music is so beautiful. Riverclan has also had a lot of suffering, yet they remain strong and beautiful, like the music, not even needing the words. The reason it fits Shadowclan is, again, the suffering. The line 'in the shadows of your heart' fits them best, for who else is famed for lurking in the shadows? They are the power behind this song, standing tall and respected despite the rumors and whispers about them, yet they secretly feel hurt, deep in their hearts, that they are loathed and feared, although they keep these thoughts to themselves, which is why they are the clan most easily manipulated. This clan is full of sorrow, but also filled with loyalty, love, and respect. So yes. This lovely song sums up all the clans, packed into this little piece of music.
