Wolverine's Hole

First topic message reminder :

A wolverine has taken residence in this abandoned hole in the territory! Wolverines are aggressive and have been known to steal and kill pups and other prey that is rightfully the warriors.

Hawk swallowed. Her heartbeat thumped in her head,it was so loud,she though that the 'thing' behind her could hear it. Keep calm and walk away. Hawk was calmly taking steps to the trees. Once she got close enough,she would take in a burst of speed and climb up it in a blink of an eye. She stole a glance at Echo.

Echochime kept cautiously walking. She saw Hawkpool's glance and blinked her firey amber eyes. As soon as Echo began to pad by the bushes and trees, she looked back at Hawkpool.
"Run." was the word Echochime mouthed out before preparing to sprint up into the tree.

Hawk nodded,then shot upwards. A loud growl erupted from the trees. Hawk twisted in one of the branches to see below. Leaves stopped her view. She grumbled and turned to serif Echo was alright.

Echochime swiftly attempted to scramble up the tree. At first, she couldn't get up. Panic began to fill the she-wolf but she quickly pushed it aside- she had to stay calm. She looked back to see the wolverine cautiously but swiftly padding around. Shutting her firey amber eyes for a moment, she turned forward and heaved herself up on to a branch. Echochime quickly sat up on the branch, and looked to where Hawkpool was.
"Are you okay?" Echo called out as she blinked her firey amber eyes.

Hawk nodded,and stared down. She reached down and pushed away the green leaves. Her eyes centered on the brown figure. She blinked at its snarling teeth. Hawkpool growled,and threw a stick at it. The wolverine whined and shook its muzzle. He snarled agin,then retreated back to its hole,giving up on its prey.

Echochime watched as the wolverine left. Relief filled her gaze as she let out a soft sigh, before glancing back at Hawkpool.
"I think it would be best to jump down on the side of the tree that is the farthest away from the wolverine's hole." Echo said quietly as she prepared to leap down. Since she was on a low branch, leaping off the tree was little effort for the she-wolf as she landed on her paws, stumbling a bit before balancing. She looked up at Hawkpool before speaking quietly to the deputy.
"Do you think that we should get back to camp and tell Firestar about this? And the missing wolves aswell?" Echochime asked as she sat down.

(Ah,no worries. I'm inactive-ish anyways. So,no prob.)

Hawkpool nodded to the young warrior,and crouched down, her orange eyes turned sharp and the energy inside her flared. She pushed off the branch and landed without a sound in the ground. The contact in the ground made shivers run up her legs. She shook her pelt and turned to the hole. The wolverine hasn't come out. She took a deep breath and sighed. "Shall we get back to camp then?" Hawk turned to answer Echochime.

Sophie ran aimlessly since leaving behind the acent of Twoleggeds. None of the territory was familiar to her,although she had been in Thunderclan territory before. it hadn't really stuck inher mind. She shook her head to rattle her thoughts and awake herself more. The drugs in the darts had slowly made her way through her blood. She started panting hard. Her vision grew blurry,and her movements sluggish. She slowed down to a walk...well more like a stumble. She had avoided the wolverine hole by chance as well. Sophie hadn't scented anything,her body started feeling numb. All she could manage was a sharp yelp. It echoed though the trees. Then was followed by a loud thump. Her body meeting the ground was mumbled. She spotted a blurry white wolf,and another wolf,which she couldn't make out. Then black dots came into her vision. Her paws felt like being stabbed with pins and needles,then she went numb. Her eye lids fell,and her mouth edged open. The glow of metal coming off in a radiant shine.

Echochime nodded to Hawkpool. Looking up, her eyes widened in surprise when she saw a dog running towards them. When the dog collasped, Echo quickly turned to Hawkpool.
"We should get her back to camp so Feather and Leaf can help her." Echochime said, worry flcikering in her eyes. Grasping Sophie lightly by the scruff, and nodded at Hawkpool before she began going towards camp.

Hawk blinked in surprise as a loud thump drew her sight around to her back. Her orange eye widened. She blinked and padded over. She nudged the dog. She sniffed her pelt. Erm...She smells familar. But...I've met thousands of dogs. Who's this...? The white deputy frowned and lifted her head to Echochime. She gave her a curt nod and helped Echo drag Sophie back to camp.

Sohie felt something warm grab into her,but her mind was far away from her body. She relaxed at their grip. She caught another glimpse of the tree tops. The sun shining through the leaves as they fluttered in the wind. Sophie then closed her eyes and fell back out into unconsciousness.
