| If you decide to become a House-dog, you should know a few things regarding your choice. First of all, your dog character is just that- a dog. It does not have the size or power of a wolf, nor the family ties and close bonds. Your decided breed of dog is not considered a wolf-dog, it must be a domesticated breed. You may choose any domesticated breed of dog for your character, but do not have the ability to have all the sorts of different fur colors and mixes, your character must contain the breed characteristics. (For example, if your dog is a Siberian Husky, it must have the classic colors and markings. It can't have all the mixed and random colors a wolf might have). Your starting character must be either a Yearling or an Adult dog, it cannot be a puppy unless two dog characters breed and you adopt one of the resulting puppies. Post your dog biography under the appropriate section please! Your character also does not have the Clan-wolf names. For example, your dog could be named Lily, but not go through the process of Lilypup -> Lilypaw -> Lilyheart. Your character also starts out in Hartford. You can decide whether to make your debut as a dog with a human owner, or one living on the streets scrounging for scraps. The role-play rules still apply to you: do not god-mod when role-playing, or have superpowers or special abilities, etc. You cannot venture to any other places other than locations in Hartford or in the forests where the Clan wolves reside. Don't worry, though, there are many places to explore! As a dog, you can decide to either join a pack or create your own with others you have met along the way (more information here). This may be an important decision for you, you can always stay as a loner dog if you'd like. If you are already a Clan member before this change, you can buy the perk of a second character slot and then an additional price for having a dog character. House dogs or rogue dogs do not follow the same rules as the warrior wolves: they do not believe and do not know of StarClan ancestors, and they do not rank up in the same way. If your dog character is not part of a pack, you do not earn any symbols to rank up. If your dog is part of a pack, it is possible that they would still not rank up in the same way. If for some reason you have a puppy as a character, you will age and may earn symbols to signify how old your character is (though remember you do not start with a puppy). Dogs also have a unique skill set: Scavenging. This is related to looking for garbage and food in the streets of Hartford if you decide to be a rogue dog and not live with Two-legs. | |
