The sunclan camp is made up of a large cave that has smaller caves branching off it, the leaders den is situatied at the back of the cave the apprentices den and thewarriors den are closest to the entrance of the cave and the nursery and the elders den are set neatly on the left wall., the medicine den is down a bit of a tunnel into a large inner cave that has a small water source and a little light pouring down from a small opening in the inner cave.. outside the cave is a large flat patch of dirt and stones used for sunnings selves and teh fresh kill pile. to the side of the large patch of flat area there is a tall treestump where the leader holds clan meetings.

Shadowpaw padded forward curiously, what was going to happen? Was Oakpaw of Isenpaw becoming a warrior. He had noticed that Isenpaw had been out hunting for more then a day now. He padded up to Direstar. "Direstar, Isenpaw's been gone more then a day, can we search for her? I fear something has happened to her." He said, he loved her and he wasn't ready to see the outcome. But Direstar called a meeting, he'd discuss it afterwards.

Direstars blood red gaze fixed on his apprentice and lit up with pride. Inhaling he said in a clear voice "I, Direstar, leader of Sunclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. he has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Shadowpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"
Direstar waited for the young wolfs reply, his eyes glittering with pride and slight amusement.

Arrowpup padded up to the meeting, his eyes calm as he sat down. He was curious about the others in the clan. One in particular made him interested, a younger male [Shadowpaw] had asked about the female [Isenpaw] that he believed he saw leave camp. He laid down with his paws just in front of him. His tail curled underneath him, up next to his belly. His eyes focused on Direstar.

Shadowpaw stepped forward in shock, happiness and shock. His eyes focused so he was looking into his leaders eyes. "I do." He said, proudness in his voice as he proudly glanced at his clanmates. What would his warrior name be? It was a shame Isenpaw wasn't here right now. Where was she?

Grinning Direstar said "Then, by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Shadowpaw, from this moment you will be known as Shadowstorm. StarClan honors your Speed and Honesty, and we welcome you as a full member of Sunclan"

Shadowpaw... no, Shadowstorm stood up proudly, a wide grin on his face. He looked at Oakpaw, he expected Oakpaw to become a warrior with him. He gave Direstar a respectful lick on the shoulder. As custom to the clans. He muttered a thank you into Direstar's ear.

Direstar nodded them turned his gaze to Dragonpup flicking his ears he said "dragonpup step forward" when she had he began the traditional words "From this moment, until he has earned his warrior name, this apprentice shall be known as Dragonpaw." Glancing around Direstar raked his eyes over the warriors surrounding the stump and his gaze settled on stoatblaze. with a flick of his tail he continued " Stoatblaze, you will be mentor to this apprentice. You are a Kind and strong warrior, and I hope you will pass this knowledge to your new apprentice."

Shadowstorm stepped back and listened. Oakpaw wasn't going to be a warrior? Why not? He chanted to the clan. "DRAGONPAW! DRAGONPAW! DRAGONPAW!" Anticipation filled the air.

Oakpaw sat stunned in a corner of the camp. his Yellow eyes glittered with ill hidden tears turning he padded into the apprentices den and curled up. now he would have to put up with the annoying dragonpaw all buy himself. sniffling a little he buried his face in his paws.

Shadowstorm was sad as he saw Oakpaw go to the apprentices den grumpily. He was determined, despite being a warrior, he would hang out with the apprentices, not just any apprentice, but Oakpaw. He wouldn't leave Oakpaw by himself, he would not abandon his brother. He was worried about Isenpaw too.

Stoatblaze watched as a Clan meeting was started, and walked over to the crowd of wolves sitting nearby the stump. He howled out Shadowstorm's new name as the wolf became a warrior, and looked up, surprised, as Direstar named him mentor to Dragonpup. The young warrior walked over to his new apprentice, touching noses with her. Dragonpaw was a nice wolf, she certainly would be a good apprentice.

EbonyFur smiled. She looked around and saw Oakpaw going back into the apprentices den. "Hmm..."she thought silently and waited until everyone was dismissed by Direstar. Isenpaw wasn't here either. EbonyFur decided to look for her right after this.

Arrowpup chanted the names of the new warrior and apprentice. When would he himself become an apprentice? "Ebonyfur, when will I be an apprentice?" He asked the medicine wolf curiously. His eyes panged with curiosity. He thought he scented another clan outside the camp.

(2 interesting facts. A wolf can smell up to 6 miles away and also I read the river, Ice said she passed right by camp, but avoided searching in the camp Smile

)

Oakpaw flicked his ears and scented the air, with a twitch of his tail he began padding silently away heading for the gorge. a cold look in his yellow eyes.

"When you are 6 moons old and when Direstar allows you to have a mentor."she said to the pup. EbonyFur tilted her head, she watched as Oakpaw went to the gorge and decided to follow since that's where Isenpaw went. "See you later."she smiled and padded off.

Moonwhisper trotted into the clearing. Heading straight to Direstar she dipped her head. "Can I have a word with you?" she asked, her voice cold. Slouching to make er fur cover her growing belly, she sighed.

Direstar looked up and smiled "of course moonwhisper" he stood and nuzzled her gently, his eyes full of love for the female. he flicked his tail and said "do you want to talk about it in private?" he tilted his head.

Moonwhisper nodded shortly. "Yes please." Flicking her tail in annoyance, she gave a low growl. So now he had time for her. Motioning for his den, she scraped the ground with her paw.

Shadowstorm went out to follow the scent of his love. He noticed that Oakpaw followed the trail earlier. He noticed it went to the gorge. But there were other scents, ThunderClanners. He ran towards the gorge at his fastest speed.

Wincing at her growl he lead the way into his den then sat down and said quietly "moonwhisper, it may have seemed like i didn't have time for you but thats not true!" his blood red eyes suddenly blazed with love for the she wolf. he said "i gave you oakpaw as a apprentice because i thought that you and you alone could teach him how to respect and how to be a good warrior" he flicked his tail his ears flicking back a little "please dont leave me moonwhisper... i love you"

"But you never have time for me anymore!" she cried, slouching so he couldnt see her face. "Its all leader duties. I love you too but... It seems like being leadr is more important to you than I am." She hung her head. "There is something else I must tell you. I'm expecting pups, and I am going to need you more than ever. Please-" her voice broke, "Please try to find some time for me. I will need to step down from deputy, and I was hoping we could talk about who would take my place."

Direstar nodded and snuggled closer to moonwhisper he murmured "ill always have time for you, its just that i had to sort out the clan" he gave her a gentle lick and continued "thats great news about the pups! they will be just as beautiful as you moonwhisper" he smiled gently and said softly "stoatblaze could be a good deputy, hes loyal and just" his blood red eyes watched moonwhisper with love.

Moonwhisper sighed. "I suppose, although he is a quite new warrior. Nightfrost perhaps? She seems to spend all her time holed up now. It might be good for her. But your the leader, whatever you want." She licked his ear. "I trust you will make the right decision," she murmured, before standing a padding away. Exiting the cave she blinked at the sunshine. Where is everyone? she wondered to herself. Bounding over to the flat rocks she stretched out on them gratefully. Better get the last of the sun while I can.

Nightfrost peeled an eye open, watching Moonwhisper. After she had passed, Night rose and slunk out of the warriors den. She had heard the whole ceremony from the den, and knew that Sunclan had a new apprentice and warrior. She had chered in her head, but they didnt like her anyway. Stretching, she scented the air. Clear, she thought with satisfaction. Nothing like the stuffy forest.

Direstar murmured to moonwhisper "and as leader i respect your advice" he padded out of the den also and padded past nightfrost giving her a nod he padded over to the entrance to the camp and began thinking calmly. the gathering will be soon... ill anounce nightfrost as deputy then i think he beamed at the thought of moonwhisper and his pups.
