SunClan Camp

Squealing,she fumbled around. She felt lonly in the cold dark world. She crawled around. Looking for something warm. Feeling something sift,she licked it. She tasted milk. She took a teet and suck. Sucked hungrily.

Streakfire nodded. She clamped down harder on the stick and pushed. She stopped to breathe. She pushed again and another one came out. "One, more." she said with a pause between each word. She then pushed again. She felt the suckling of a pup, she smiled. She pushed again.

Brackenpaw smiled as another was delivered. He thought it was the last one but wasn't sure. "I am pretty sure that's all of them Streakfire. But I've been a medicine wolf apprentice less then a day. So I cannot be sure."

(I think Firepup would be a dead born one though, because swift has to be a warrior and he adopted him...)

[b]"I still feel something there though,"[/b ] she said. She pushed again. The last pup popped out. She nudged it, she wasn't sure if it was dead or alive! I'll go ahead and name one, then I'll wait for Oakthorn, she thought. [b]"I-I think this one should be Oakpup, it looks a lot like Oakthorn and I, though," she said, and pointed to the newly-named Oakpup.

Brackenpaw nodded as the last was born. He licked him, not seeing much hope in the pup surviving of the small size. He put them all together. He gasped. "I'll leave you then. I already gave your borgage, so your milk for them will be fine."

Direstar padded up and said calmly "brackenpaw come with me, ebonyfur will look after streakfire". he turned and gave a lick to the young oakpup he said gently "Do not worry youngpup, everything will be fine". he turned and headed out of the nursery, he said "come on brackenpaw we are going to Stormclan camp" he bounded happily out of camp

Brackenpaw nodded, curiosity filled his mind. Were they going to see Shadowstorm? Why else would they go to StormClan. After all they were enemies. At least those who weren't medicine wolves.

Streakfire nodded and looked at the pups. "Where is Oakthorn! He needs to see his pups!" She said. She looked around. That was really hard...

(Swiftpup and streak swift bought Firepup right cause he is paying for him.)

Swiftpup looks in behind Fern. "What is happening?" He looks at Streak. He gose up to her. "Are you ok?"

(He cannot be roleplayed because he is not a warrior, therefore you have to get another pup, sorry )

Streakfire looks up. "Can we be alone, please?" she asks. she swishes her tail back and forth. Come on Oakthorn! You missed the birthing of your last pup...

Oakpup squirms around her mother's belly. She finds warmth, and a teat. She quietly suckles. She then falls asleep. (Lame post!)

EbonyFur quickly hurried into camp. "What do you need? Borage? Watermint?"she asked. The medicine wolf looked around. "This is a harsh time..."she murmured.

Tinypaw saw his mentor had given birth. "Now we can train better, right?"he asked with a slight frown. The apprentice sat down with a huff. He looked to the new pup and smiled a bit but frowned again.


(OH! NOW I remember what song is that! I have died everyday waaaiting for you, darling don't be afraid I have loved you! XD)

"Tinypaw, I think you will need a new mentor. I have to stay in the nursery with my pups. I won't be able to train you. I'm sorry," she said. She hoped Oakthorn would be back soon. She really missed him.

Nuzzling the soft fur,she whined. And rolled on her side. She curled up in a ball,and squealed. She felt tired and yawned. She pawed at the air.

Direstar returned to camp and replied "i will mentor Tinypaw untill you can return to your warrior duties Streakfire, congratulations on the birth of your pups. now Tinypaw we need to find their father. time to put to use your tracking skills". The red pelted leader sorted out the situation with ease. his blood red eyes glancing kindly at Streakfire.

Tinypaw gave a nod in determination. He sniffed Streakfire once, taking the scent of both her and oakthorn. "I got his scent memorized."he said. Tiny then started looking for the scent trail. Upon finding it, he looked a bit shocked. "There is... the smell of blood from Shadow storm as well..."he said. The apprentice padded off to the border of WindClan and SunClan.

Cloverpaw looked up at the Medicine Wolf Den. "I wonder what's going on in there?" She thought. The Apprentice padded forward to the edge of the den. She peeked inside. Cloverpaw grinned as she saw 4 tiny figures curled up by Streakfire. "Pups!" She thought excitedly. Quietly she slipped back out the den, so she wouldn't disturb Streakfire or her pups. "Yay! More wolves for Sunclan!" Cloverpaw thought.

Isenfire smiled at her apprentice and went to see al the hub-ub. "Congratulations Streakfire!" She said happily to the mother. She looked at the little ones.

Thistlepaw watched the comings and goings. He was no longer a pup sitting in the nursery, and thus had no reason to watch what was going on. From what he could tell new pups were being born. Soon he heard their quiet mewlings. The male apprentice was jealous of them- they actually had a mother. They would grow up normally. He knew the mother to be Streakfire, and she would do a wonderful job, but Thistlepaw couldn't help think how it would be if Streakfire was his mother, or if his own had not died.


His mentor was Oakthorn. Thistlepaw hadn't seen this warrior around much, and was just waiting for him to come back into camp so they could do things that warriors and apprentices do with one another. An excitement rose in his chest as he thought of guarding the territory, exploring and hunting prey with his new mentor. The small boy couldn't help but grin at his own thoughts.

Mosseybreeze runs into the camp. She looks for a warrior. Then she looks for the Leaders den. Waiting at the entrance with Bramble.

Streakfire looked up. "Thanks! If you see my mate, Oakthorn, could you tell him that this happened?" she asked. She curled her tail around the pups.

I hear a noise. I walk over to the nursery. She looks inside. "Streakpaw is that you?" I ask my old freind.

(I just really want Oaky here to open her eyes)

Oakpup squirms around her mother's belly. I wonder what the world looks like. Like, outside of- wherever I am? she thought. She slowly opened her eyes. It was blurry. She slowly waved her head back and forth. Slowly, her eyesight got a bit clearer, to the point where she could make out some small shapes. She slowly dragged herself towards Isenfire.

Streakfire nudges Oakpup. "Now stay over here. You can go out when your brothers and sisters open their eyes." she said. "Stay out, mangy mutt! I don't want ThunderClan germs on my pups!" she said in a motherly way. Her mothering instincts were kicking in, as she was very protective of her pups.

She moved away from the nursery. "Streak it is my Mosseybreeze your best friend." I look at Streakfire. I then look her straight in the eyes willing her to remember.

Streakfire shook her head no. "My ONLY FRIEND was Firestar. I had no other friends there. I have many more friends here. Now stay away from my pups! They'll get hurt!" she said. Her mothering instincts were getting stronger by the minute. She looked at Oakpup, whom has just opened her eyes. She picked the pup up by the scruff and placed her closer to her belly. She then stands up in front of her pups, protecting them.
