SunClan Camp

Streakfire pulled Oakthorn's body away, a sort-of mad look on her face. He did this! It's his fault! I'm glad Isenfire died because now he can suffer. she paused her thoughts. Even so, Isenfire was a good friend.

Shadowstorm snarled as the body was pulled away. "Back off Streakfire and let me see my brother." The anger was apparent in his voice. He didn't care who she was, he would attack if she didn't let him towards the body. He looked and saw Tigerpup, the pup looked exactly like Oakthorn, the bangle was not on his paw instead of Oakstorm. His brother was missed most by him.

Tigerpup stared back at this new wolf with her striking yellow eyes. the bangle on her leg glittered a little. her ears folded back she didnt like the aura of hatered of the world that exuded from this wolf. she wondered why he was staring at her like that. she backed up a few steps.

Streakfire growled. "He's MY mate, not yours! I had HIS pups!" she said, as calmly as possible. She took a deep breath in, calming herself.

Thistlepaw looked at the two. "Does it really matter, Streakfire? The two were close since they were pups, I'm sure Oakthorn would want Shadowstorm's good-byes, as you have given him. I lost my mother, and now your pups have lost their father. His mate and pups were just murdered. You're not the only one who has suffered a loss today. Show some sympathy." This hit particularly close to home, and his tone went a bit sharp towards the end of his sentence. Did it really matter whether or not Shadowstorm was able to mourn? The dead were dead, you couldn't take that back now.

Shadowstorm was furious at Streakfire now. "Yea, and he's MY BROTHER Streakfire. Did it ever occur to you that he was the last of my family. It's not exactly like my pups survive. You let Isen go fight didn't you? Just so you could see me become broken down. You a disgrace to Oakthorn and a disgrace to SunClan." He snarled before storming off into the leaders den, waiting to talk to Direstar. His fur had been bristling from his spine, standing on end the entire time.

Tigerpup blinked her yellow eyes and began slowly making her way over to Thistlepaw. she sat down and watched him without a word. a small smile flickered on her maw before it vanished. she twitched her ears and wondered why her mother wouldnt look at her... however she didnt whine only flicked her ears back a little. she gave a soft sigh and glanced up at Thistlepaw as if asking for awnsers.

"I-I never knew she was there. Isenfire was a good friend to me, and I respect her! She left when I was going back to camp. I-I wasn't the one who let her." she studdered. (IDK how to spell that...)

Now Shadowstorm countered back and Thistlepaw looked at him. Tension was running high now, perhaps it wasn't a good time for the Deputy to return to his home Clan. Three losses announced in a single day.. It was all too much for anyone to handle, and the boy respected Shadowstorm for being able to keep himself relatively together, at least until now. "Past is past," Thistlepaw commented. "Blaming others is pointless." He felt watchful eyes on him and turned to meet the gaze of one of Streakfire's pups. "Yes? Is there anything I can do for you?" he asked her, wondering how he could help. The apprentice felt a connection to all of Streakfire's litter now, now that they'd both lost a parent at an early age before they could even meet.

Tigerpup blinked her yellow eyes and didnt speak, however she looked interested. she glanced over at Streakfire then back at Thistlepaw. Silently asking why her mother wouldnt look at her. her yellow eyes glittered with a little sadness. she licked her black nose then blinked her eyes again, she noticed shadowstorm over by Direstar and perked her ears. she found herself recognizing him as if she had met him before. she stood and walked over to him slowly..

Shadowstorm glanced at the pup, she was just like her father. Less words. "Hello there little one, sorry you had to see that." He said in apology towards the pup. He knew that she saw the fight between Streakfire and himself.

Thistlepaw shrugged as the pup walked away, and instead focused his attention elsewhere. New thoughts came to him, though he tried to push them away because he felt guilty. Who would be his mentor now? Could he ever become a warrior even though all of his other siblings were probably more advanced than he in training?

She shrugged and said in a quiet voice that was not at all timid and yet very confident "its ok, mamma dosent look at me that much anyway". her yellow eyes glittered with a firey spirit. her paws scuffed in the dirt before she stared up at him again. she found herself oddly trusting him. she wagged her tail and said hesitantly "i feel a strange connection with you"

"I wasn't blaming..." she said, sorrowfully. What was wrong with her? Was she suddenly evil? She did not know, her life was puzzled with questions.

Oakpup gazed at her father, then looked away. She loved him, althought she didn't know him. She looked at Thistlepaw, whom she had a strange feeling around. She walked over, yipping. "Hi," she yipped.

Shadowstorm smiled at the pup's innocence. "You look exactly like your father, and nothing like my former apprentice, my sister-in-law. Nothing like your mother. I have my own crazy beliefs about why I feel such a strong connection with you. But it's too crazy. I'm your uncle, I am Oakthorn's brother." He told the pup, he believed that the pup was an incarnation of his brother. "You act just like your father too."

She blinked her yellow eyes and dipped her head in acknowledgement. she flicked her tail and glanced back at her mother before locking her eyes on shadowstorms. she decided that he was going to be her new papa. she sat down and leant against his leg. he was going to have to deal with her following him around now.

Streakfire looked at Shadowstorm. "Shadowstorm, could I say something to you? More... privately?" she asked. She really needed to tell him.

Another of Streakfire's litter then approached him- Oakpup, was it? "Hello," he replied, looking at the female pup. "How are you doing?" he asked, noticing her glance at her dead father's body that was laying in the middle of camp. They really should bury him as soon as possible, Thistlepaw thought to himself as he looked down at the pup. Everything around camp seemed to have calmed down since the yelling match between the Deputy and Streakfire. Hopefully everything would be calm and quiet now.

Shadowstorm nodded to her, still mad at her, but he had a new comfort. Her name was Tigerpup, and she reminded him so much of his brother. Like she was his sister, just like his brother. He nudged her a bit. "I'll be right back Tigerpup." He whispered as he went to talk to the pup's mother.

"I-I'm fine..." Oakpup said, almost blushing. She liked this particular male. But, did he feel the same way? She was almost old enough to be an apprentice, anyway. (she has 20-30 posts on her account, I believe)

Streakfire looked at Shadowstorm. "Can we go somewhere more, private? This is important." she said. Tears swelling in her eyes.

Tigerstorm looked at the body, a devilish smiled on his face. Soon, all the weak will be picked out one by one. Only the strongest shall remain! And I will be their leader! Leader of all clans, leader of all wolves! I shall succeed!

"Good," he replied gruffly. She didn't seem to be taking her father's death as hard as he had taken his mother's. The boy didn't know whether this was a good thing or a bad thing, but it was always better for pups to retain their innocence (although seeing their father's dead body probably didn't do much good). Watching as a queen was murdered with unborn pups made him lose almost all of his own, but he of course still had his old pup-like curiosity and excitement. Thistlepaw looked down at the pup and asked, "What happened after I left camp?"

His gaze strayed to a wolf sitting away from the rest of the group with an unsettling expression on his face. it reminded Thistlepaw of those foreign wolves that killed Isenfire. The apprentice shifted his paws uncomfortable, turning his gaze to look back at the pup.

Shadowstorm looked at her. Oh StarClan, please don't let her get emotional on me. He thought silently as he spoke. "Let's go to the river real quick then. He said, he wanted to get this over with.

Streakfire nodded. "Alright. The river it is." she said. She flicked her tail and walked towards the river.

Tigerstorm's lips folded back as a snarl as Thistlepaw looked at him. Like I said, weak. The weak don't even belong here! he thought. He had a satisfying look on his face.

Oakpup smiled. She sat closer to Thistlepaw. Being near him made her feel, comfertble.(IDK how to spell right) She smiled, looking up at him. She looked at Tigerstorm, snarling, "Leave us alone, Tigerstorm!"

Shadowstorm saw the snarl from Tigerstorm. "Learn your place." He snarled at the warrior, furious at those who would do that to an apprentice. He padded after Streakfire.
