SunClan Camp - Page 38 Loughrigg%20Fell%20Panorama_011_small

The sunclan camp is made up of a large cave that has smaller caves branching off it, the leaders den is situatied at the back of the cave the apprentices den and thewarriors den are closest to the entrance of the cave and the nursery and the elders den are set neatly on the left wall., the medicine den is down a bit of a tunnel into a large inner cave that has a small water source and a little light pouring down from a small opening in the inner cave.. outside the cave is a large flat patch of dirt and stones used for sunnings selves and teh fresh kill pile. to the side of the large patch of flat area there is a tall treestump where the leader holds clan meetings.

Direstar grinned a little at honeyfrost. she was kind and interesting, he found himself drawn to this warrioir. he felt a bit guilty as he remembered moonwhisper but knew that she would want him to move on. he smiled faintly.

Honeyfrost shot Direstar a sweet smile as she waited still, and decided to wrap her tail around her paws to keep them warm. Flicking her ears she studied the camp curiuosly, wondering if there was anything going on around her that might be of interest. Seeing nothing out of the ordinary the young warrior looked back at her leader, her whiskers twitching ever so slightly. A sharp gust of wind tugged at her fur, pushing it he wrong way and exposing her skin to the open air and sending a shiver along her spine. She could not wait for new leaf to arrive.

Direstar chuckled and stood he nosed honeyfrost "how about we show them the abandoned two leg nest? teach them a bit about two legs?". his blood red eyes watched honeyfrost with lightly masked affection. he knew that he was starting to fall for the white warrior. his heart beat a little faster as he waited for her reply.

Honeyfrost gazed up at Direstar as he nosed her and felt her heart skip a little. "That sounds ideal, I am certainly up for it." Standing up the white warrior looked back at the red eyed male and felt a smile stretch yet again across her muzzle. She was rather keen on this wolf inparticular, and was eager to set off on the trek with him and the apprentices to the Twoleg nest.

Direstar grinned at honeyfrost then said "well lets skedaddle then". he turned his large body around and began padding toward the camp entrance. his red fur moving about in the wind, his long legs carried him easily over the snowy earth. he paused and glanced back at honeyfrost before he continued on toward the two leg nest.

Honeyfrost beamed and padded hastily after Direstar, glancing back every so often to check that Thistlepaw and Swiftpaw were following. "Come on you little rascal." She teased, looking at Swiftpaw and turning to then look ahead, following Direstar's path closely. Glancing around skittishly Honeyfrost kept her ears perked up high on her head, soaking in all of the sounds around her and swinging her head in every direction whenever she heard the smallest of sounds.

Seeing Direstar and Honeyfrost leave camp,she blinked. "Seems that Sunpaw and Thistlepaw are going to train a bit." She noticed her sister slip over and stare at the ground sadly. She lightly nudged her. "Oakpup,are you ok?"

Oakpup looked up."Yeah, I'm fine. I just really want to be an apprentice! It's boring being a pup!" she exclaimed."Don't you think we're ready? I mean, we're almost six moons..."

She nodded. "I guess,but there is a reason they don't apprentice us young. Haven't you heard of Brokenstar? He apprentice pups before 6 moons. They all died before becoming warriors." She blinked her blue eyes. Saddened for the young wolves. "But your right. Still,we need to be careful."

Oakpup looked down again."Well, yeah. But we're ready! she said, loudly. She looked back up, her ears flattened. We're ready!...

She noded. "We'll have to ask Direstar if we'll be apprenticed. But he's out of camp. I'd go,but i don't want my apprentice ceremony delayed. Like Fernpaw's." She swished her long tail on the ground.

Thunderpup sighed and limped back to his spot. He had changed his mind, he didn't want to go anywhere. He was cold, his three paws were freezing, he couldn't feel his tail and his nose felt like it was about to fall off. He looked around, everyone seemed to be out. He found it slightly ironic, the clan of Sun out at night. Yet a smile spread across the three legged pups face as he crept into the cave which held all the dens. He tried to go quickly, but then again the fastest he could go was the normal walk of an apprentice. Thunder had never run or jumped, he had never tried these things. He curled up into a nest in the nursery and yawned. One day I will be big and strong. I will be the best warrior in Sunclan. My missing leg won't stop me. He yawned as he thought to himself and shivered in the mossy nest.

Tigerpup returned to camp and gave a hostile glare at oakpup, she snarled at her sister who she didnt consider a sister "you only worry about becomming an apprentice? our mother doesnt even look at me because i look like papa!". her eyes glittered with tears and hatered of oakpup, how come she got to complain about such trivial matters. she snorted and said "have a nice life oakpup. dont ever consider yourself my sister". with that dooming sscentance she turned and padded into the nursery. glancing at Thunderpup she frowned then nosed her mossey nest over next to his away from oakpups. she wanted thunder to be warm. she curled up in her nest next to his.

Thunderpup felt slight movement next to him, he had been buried under moss, so when he looked up his head was covered in it. His dark eyes sparkled seeing Tigerpup, "Oh hello." He smiled kindly and shook the moss from his head. He smiled kindly, and wagged the small tail he had. Maybe, I can be a bit nicer... He thought to himself as he continued to smile, "Cold?"

tigerpup lifted her head and gave a weary smile, "i thought you looked cold, so i came to join you". she shot a glance out of the nursery at oakpup then didnt say anymore. her eyes glittered with unsaid emotion that was anger at her sister, lonliness and sadness. it would take a skilled wolf to read these emotions in her eyes.

Thunderpup smiled, "I was. Thanks." His voice was still a bit squeaky and tiny but filled with feeling and kindness. His eyes caught her every tiny movement. the moment she looked outside to how her eyes seemed to change. It didn't take Thunderpup long to figure out what was bothering her. It was natural, came naturally to him to know. He smiled kindly. He saw the anger, he saw her loneliness and sadness. but he kept smiling, he wanted to spread his jolly joy to her if he could. But he started off, simply saying, "Why are you sad?" Better to ask why she is sad than mad. Sadness comes from both anger and loneliness. Thunderpup nodded to himself as he waited ever so patiently for the young she pup.

Her eyes dimmed and she flicked her ears over at oakpup and her mother streakfire. she didnt often speak, and recently she had been talking alot. tigerpup found that she worked better when she didnt have to speak. she was suprised that this other pup could read her so easily. after everything it was nice and relaxing to be able to talk her way not the vocal way.

Thunderpup studied Tigerpup. The way her eyes dimmed and the flick of her ears toward Oakpup and Streakfire said it almost all. He understood, not to full length but he had been around to hear and watch. He sat up slowly, using his front limb to push himself up. He rested his head on his paw and watched her his eyes twinkling. "Don't worry about them. They add unecessary drama to your life. They add stress and hurt. If Oakpup wants to leave, let her. If your mom cries every time she sees you be proud. You look like your dad, if she can't see the beauty in that... then she is very lost. Don't worry about them, they add things to your life that are going to hurt you. And some of us don't want to see you hurt." I speak for myself as well, what I wouldn't do for a friend... He spoke truly, calmly and a strange wisdom to his words unmatched even by an older wolf. He had a thorough way of thinking. He thought a lot, he was atheltic alright but his missing paw seemed to have added space and time to think. He hoped he hadn't sounded rude, for he never wanted to come by as rude. He respected Streakfire and oakpup, but he had rights to his opinions as well and he spoke them.

She paused for a long time, then her eyes glittered with a thankfullness. she leant over and lightly licked his brow. her way of thanking him. she smiled, perhaps she had made her second friend, two in one day was big for her. secretly she wished that oakpup could go to thunderclan then sunclan and thunderclan go to war with them so she could sink her teeth into her sisters pelt. Tigerpup had been the runt of the litter, she was lucky that she hadnt died.

Thunderpup giggled lightly as she thanked him in her own way. He smiled kindly and looked back outside, watching the movement there was outside if any. Snow blew around, voices carried lightly. Thunder was at peace with himself and the world. He looked at Tigerpup and stood up to turn in a slow circle. As he did so he stumbled slightly and cursed himself for it. "Mouse brain, its the other way." I can't even turn around without making a mistake. I might as well lie down my whole life. He turned the other way and lied down, his only front paw curled under and close to his chest. He yawned slightly, his small canines glinting and bright white. He looked back at Tigerpup, a silly and funny look on his face.

She blinked, and her eyes filled with worry and protectiveness for him. also however there was a general peace to let him to things his own way. she was ready to help him if he wanted it, but she was ready to stand back when he needed it. she lay down in her nest and sneezed a little. making a face she rolled her eyes up to the heavens. she wanted it to be newleaf already!

Thunderpup watched her roll her eyes to the sky and smiled. He found her facial expression at the moment slightly comical and laughter began to erupt from deep within him. Thunderpup closed his eyes trying to stop but for some reason her sneeze, and expression and the way she had conducted herself has sparked him to laugh and laugh and laugh... Got to stop laughing, he thought as he buried his muzzle in the moss, and peered through it at Tigerpup, his eyes wide.

Tigerpup however parted her mouth and laughed silently, her shoulders shaking. her entire face crinkled up in the silent laughter. noticing him peering up at her she crouched down and stared at him with her wide yellow eyes that twinkled with happiness and laughter. she grinned at him and wagged her tail

Thunderpup smiled and raised his rump in the air, his tail wagging his behind and more as he wagged it happily. His eyes watched her carefully as the tips of his grin were the only noticeable thing. He narrowed his eyes, finding the quiet fae interesting and fun. He spoke no words but he obviously wanted to play. One of his ears perked as the other stood to the side making him look goofy and small minded. He a deep rumble came from his throat and he snickered softly and continued to make the sound.

Tigerpup again only grinned silently, sticking her tail up in the air behind her she began stalking him. her yellow eyes curious yet playful, she reached out a paw and tapped him on his shoulder. not hard yet not light either, she wanted to treat him like he was just one of the pups but she knew what it was like being exposed. so she gave him the best of both worlds. she made nary a sound.
