WindClan Camp

Subject: WindClan Camp Sat Nov 10, 2012 12:00 pm

First topic message reminder :

The camp is very well hidden, surrounded by a tangle of gorse. An old legend says that Windstar, the founder, scooped out a pawful of sand to make the hollow for the camp. There are no proper dens. The leader, apprentices, and warriors prefer to sleep under the open sky, although in bad weather, they retreat in burrows made by rabbits, foxes or badgers. The leader has a den behind the Tallrock, but he never sleeps there. The Tallrock is a large boulder used by the leader for special ceremonies. The elder's den and nursery are dens along the gorse wall surrounding the camp

Tigerpaw woke up from a deep sleep. She dreamt about how great she would be as a warrior. Brave and courageous. Loving and careness. Bright and strong.

That morning, she got a squirrel from the fresh kill pile. Eating,she finished quickly,then stood up. She then went to greet lionpup saying, " Hi! Good morning. Did you have a good sleep?" Walking up to him,she saw the medicine den,and another pup. "Hi there! I'm tigerpaw. Who might you be?" She then switched glanced between lion and the pup.

Brokenpup paused the playing a little and looked at Lionpup. Sure, but this stick is mine! She answered playfully. She rolled around biting it like it was a kind of prey. She had totally forgotten about how childish she looked.

Peeling her ears up intently at the sound of Russetstar's call the brown and white female hauled herself to her paws. Pushing her thoughts to the back if her mind she decided to think about them later. Right now she has something more important to concentrate on. Settling down she waited patiently for her clan mates to arrive and let her gaze fall curiously on Shadewhisper. What was that in his eyes? Dismissing the thought for the moment she gazed up at Russetstar. Perhaps his announcement would reveal more.

Snowflower heard the howl. She stood next to Heatherpaw. She looked to Russetstar and wondered what he was going to say.

Lionpup grinned and crouched down, ready to pounce, before pausing at the sound of a voice behind him. Turning, his tail still thrashing excitedly, he looked up gleefully as he recognised that the wolf who had spoken was in fact Tigerpaw.
"Did you have a good sleep?"
At Tigerpaw's question the golden pup nodded his head vigorously. Looking at Brokenpup as Tigerpaw asked who she was, Lionpup politely introduced her. "This is my friend, Brokenpup."

Brokenpup looked at Tigerpaw smiling. Hi! She said, wagging her tail happily. She then turned around and saw Russetstar standing on the Tallrock. The leader is gonna say something! She was thinking. Hmm, Shall, shall not... She had hard time choosing if she wanted to go and meet up or not, She ended up just standing there, with a creepy look on face, not even knowing it.

"I have a few things to announce, so it would be appreciated if you were to listen carefully. We have important things to discuss so I need all of you to add your own input." Russetstar's voice echoed around the camp. "Is everyone here?"

Shadewhisper looked up at his leader. "I think it is, but I can never be sure. I don't know who we lost to SunClan." He said, truthfully. Russetstar wanted input.

Nodding to broken pup,she looked up at tall rock. "I wonder what he's going to say." She then padded up to it. Into its shadows. Looming over her.

Snowflower looked around. She tried to see who was here and who wasn't. "Direblood and Moonwhisper left. And a few more..."she thought silently and continued looking around.

Dawnpaw looked at her mentor. She padded over and sat down. She listened with perked ears, wondering what Russetstar was going to say.

Seeing that some members had gathered, Russetstar cleared his throat. "Heatherpaw, please step forward." as he said those words he looked down upon his apprentice, remembering when she was just Heatherpup, playing with Moonwhisper and Direstar. But as those ex-members crossed his mind, he shook his head, concentrating upon other things. He would care not to have SunClan enter his mind.

Snowflower listened. "It must be a naming ceremony."she thought to herself. She looked to Heatherpaw and waited.

Heatherpaw felt a flash of surprise shudder through her body for a brief moment. Me? Casting a quick glance towards Snowflower her eyes lit up with pure excitement. I'm going to become a warrior! Hastily rising to her paws the female padded forward, looking up at her mentor with bright, shining eyes. Feeling her heart thump anxiously in her chest, she paused beneath Tallrock, her gaze fixed unmovingly upon her leader.

Snowflower smiled as Heatherpaw padded over. But grew confused as she stopped under Tallrock. "What are you waiting for?'she thought with a smile.

Hearing heather paws name,she perked up. Heatherpaws is gong to be a warrior!!!! She smiled. She then looked back up at russetstar. "I wonder what her warrior name will be?" She whispered.

(Im not sure how to start off, so I just started with Flamepup already in the pack^^)

Flamepup pounced on a pile of grass, then rolled with excitement. He tripped as his splayed paw twisted backwards. The pup growled with frustration, then shot up, as he saw Heatherpaw getting her warrior name.

Seeing another pup in camp,she smiled at him. Beckoning him to sit by her,by flicking her tail. Laying down she flicked her ears. She then yawned.

The pup noticed an apprentice beckoning him. Flamepup padded toward the apprentice and sat down. He was surprised on how big the apprentice was was compared to him. Flamepup ruffled his pelt, trying to look big.

She chuckled. "Don't worry. I was smaller then you when I was a pup." She smiled. "I'm tiger paw. Who are you?"

"Don't speak."Snowflower whispered to them and turned back. She sighed and continued to wait. "I wonder if anyone else is getting their warrior name..."she thought to herself. She looked back up to Russet and waited.

Flamepup jumped as the apprentice spoke to him. "M-my name is Flamepup" He grinned nervously. The pup ruffled his fur out more, until his pelt looked like a shabby shrew. Flamepup twitched as a fly flew around him.

" Well, nice to meet you flamepup," she replied. Hearing snowflower's remark,she sighed. Flicking her tail,she gazed back up at high rock. She smiled at flamepup. Great,we have more pups!!

He gazed up at Russetstar, tilting his head in curiousity on who will be getting their warrior name. Flamepup noticed a fluffy clump was on the ground. The pup crouched, then wagged his tail, and pounced on the clump. He clamped his jaws on it and shook it playfully. Flamepup widened his eyes as he saw that it was Tigerpaws tail, and released it immediatley. He smiled nervously at Tigerpaw. "S-sorry.." Flamepup said looking at the ground with embarassment.

Feeling a stinging inner tail,she jumped up. She flicked it around. Sending blood everywhere. She saw that flamepup bit it. She flinched. Sighing,she flicked again. "It's ok,it does hurt to much." She cringed at the pain.
