4+ Character Slots/House-dogs

As this website gets older and people have been here longer, it seems people have already hit their max 3 characters a while ago. How many do you think would be fair for character slots if we amended it, and how much should it cost?

Additionally, Featherpaw made the suggestion that House-dog character slots be cheaper (I was thinking around 150) and maybe we can increase the amount of slots possible so people are less conservative with that and more willing to buy a dog slot?

Does anyone have any suggestions or possible answers to the questions above?

Anyways,so if you've reached your limit on characters,you can get a 5th one (just asking) For a certain amount of posts.

Well if you have that many active characters (4 at this point, right?) they get crystals for posts & being active. So you can pool all of your crystals together to get to that 1,000.

Yea. I was thinking that after 5, all of the other charries could remain the same price, as it would be a pretty good amount to pay. Unless it was in another Clan, the price would still be raised and such.

I think it would be possible to get the 1000 crystals if someone posted frequently and roleplayed a lot, like Shadestar said. I think Feather's idea could work too, about the price not raising if more character slots were added. If that were the case, I think each character slot would be 800 crystals, and 1000 for a wolf in another Clan.

Hawkpool's idea could work too, although it might be less confusing if all character slots were bought in crystals.

Maybe keep the same cost for 800 crystals
But the post is good. So like if you have 10 posts for one week,you could be able to get one as well

So,wait. I think maybe we could have an 800 crystal character slot. They would be able to get that much easier to get that 1,000 it took me a while with three as well
We could also add the week thingy. One character per week for that matter

I like the idea of 4+ character slots being 800 crystals for same Clan, then 1000 for out of Clan? We can just keep it like that from now on so we don't have to worry about it. I'll limit it to 1 per week and people can get however many they want? Either way we'll have to re-visit it when people want more characters, so we could just let people do whatever they want with it since it is their crystals.

Awesomeness They have to keep track, though, right?

Yea. Perhaps there could be a thread for all your characters and their ranks Etc.

Oh I like that idea, Feather. Have any of you ever seen post logs that people do on other RP sites? It basically keeps track of a users characters and their histories/involvement in plots, etc. Those would be pretty useful.

The ideas suggested by Feather and Tall would be good as well, to know who has which character.

I think the post log is a pretty cool idea.

Yes,so we'll have some kind of post log (i have no idea what it is)
And we'll have a lost of characters for each player. That would be much simpler than trying to remeber if one of your characters died

I think that there was a list of second and third characters, though it might have been deleted. The list of characters could look a bit like this:


Main Character- (Character1) of (Clan name here)Clan (History in roleplay here)
Other characters-
2nd- (Character 2) of (Clan)Clan (History)
3rd- And so on
Extra characters- (Characters won in contest)

An example:

Main Character- Graystar of StormClan (History here)

Other characters-

2nd- Stoatblaze of SunClan (History here)
3rd- Pinepaw of SunClan (History here)
4th- Rainpup of SunClan (No history)

Extra characters-
(Character name here) of StormClan (No history)

Ooo lets do this. But i don't know much about tables so i don't know if i can help...

Will the leaders be keeping up with that? The whole history in roleplay thing would be difficult to follow for some characters [for the leaders to follow, i mean].

Tallfeather, I would be willing to keep up with the log; it would be easier though as well if members could post the roleplay history of their characters on another topic, so it could be added to the character log.


And it could be on one post as well, or several if there are too much characters.

Perhaps each main character could post all their characters' info in one long post, so no one would have to keep a "log".
