Greenleaf, prey is once more plentiful. The forests and Moors are filled with tasty nibbles of prey while the river is almost choked with fish. |

| [[ SORRY FOR LATE RESPONSE, TOTALLY FORGOT DX ]]
Tallpaw watched intently as Russetstar demonstrated the new move, trying to memorize every little detail and etch it into his mind for future reference. Nodding slightly but moreso focused on trying to copy Russetstar's posture, Tallpaw inwardly found himself trying to explain why a move would be so detrimental. He'd been told more times than he could count that Windclan wolves were the swiftest of all four clans, so that must be where this move came into play. Against a Thunderclan or Shadowclan wolf, their burly builds suited for fighting in the brambles and swampland that pervaded their homelands, this defensive tactic would allow any nimble Windclan warrior to dodge the blow and retaliate before their opponent knew what hit them.
Grinning at the thought of using this move against someone threatening his clan, Tallpaw copied Russetstar -- pressing himself flat to the ground as if dodging a blow, then quickly flipping over and springing back to his paws. He staggered somewhat at the impact of his legs taking his weight so suddenly, and Tallpaw chastised himself for not controlling his balance, but overall he managed to stay upright and was rather pleased with himself; at least, for a first try. Looking over at his mentor expectantly, Tallpaw waited to hear what he'd have to say.

| (Don't worry I do that all the time.)
Russetstar watched as his apprentice copied the move. I do believe he's figuring it out...
"Good," he said to Tallpaw, looking at him through dark brown eyes. "A little stagger there - try to use your tail to help with balance. Apart from that, it was decent. Right, do you want to carry on with this or go onto something else?"

| Tallpaw glowed at his mentors praise and nodded at his advice, storing it in his memory to use next time he tried out the move. He was enjoying training more than he expected, especially for a first session, and he found his claws itching to try out all these fighting and hunting tactics when the time arose. Sitting down, his tail still thrashing against the ground, Tallpaw said "Move on, I suppose?" | |

| Russetstar nodded. "Right then - we're going to practise a offensive move this time - the leap-and-hold. The most basic - using the paws and teeth - moves I'm sure you know already, as they are often practised by pups." He looked quizzically at Tallpaw, making a silent question.
(Tallfeather, I think you've ready (as you have been active, friendly and become part of the community) to become a warrior. This thread can now be locked.)
