Blackhawk sat down, his tail swishing lightly. His excitement of training his first apprentice inbearable. He gleamed with happiness.

Swiftpaw approached he's new mentor, in a clearing in the territory he watched Blackhawk hoping that he will start training here.

Blackhawk stood as Swiftpaw walked in. He nodded to the young apprentice. "Are you ready to start training for the rest of your life?" A smile was spread wide across the warriors face.

"Yes sure I want to become the best warrior." Swiftpaw said with he's chest puffed out looking at he's mentor

The Thunderclan warrior nodded. "Good, excellent even. alright we will begin with some hunting techniques. Why? Because hunting will keep your clan alive thats why." The gray furred warrior looked around, and nodded. He rather liped and slid over to his pprentice. "See that tree root? We're going to pretend its a bird. So for now I want to see you stalk it." Blackhawk smiled and sat down.

"Right." Swift paw quickly crouched down into the position that he did trying to catch a bird when he was with Rainstar. He kept very low close to the floor and crept forward quite quickly and then struck the tree root with both paws.

Swiftpaw walked back and then repeated the same stalking method he had already mastered, he swiftly moved toward he root till he was in striking distance, this time as he leaped forward he struck the tree root with the flat side of hes paws so that he would land the strike evenly.

Blackhawk smiled, "Wonderful you are progressing quickly! Now let me see what your idea is of an attack. Come at me." The warrior crouched down and looked at Swiftpaw, his leg sticking out at a weird angle. He flicked his ear, hoping Swiftpaw would become a great warrior.

Swiftpaw was unsure to what to do but with hes speed he had thought of a way to get at blackhawk, he bolted towards hes mentor moving from side to side as he dropped down using hes momentum and leaped towards the male with all the force from the run up.

Blackhawk side stepped, as Swiftpaw ran at him with an amazing burst of speed. The gray warrior chuckled. "Well you're fast, very fast. But maybe you could use your speed from a closer angle, instead of going into full charge."

Swiftpaw dropped and skidded into a halt. he turned around hearing what hes mentor said he didn't charge this time he weaved close enough to blackhawk, he bursted around the back of hes mentor, watching hes mentor turn around swiftly, Swiftpaw tackled into hes chest knocking him off the floor.

The Thunderclan warrior was thrown backwards. He laughed a bit and stood up shaking the grains of sand free from his pelt. "Better, with your speed your gaining enough momentum to really knock someone out. Very good. Alright now we're going to try a basic fighting move. Run, but before running into me try sliding under my belly and scraping your paws against mmy belly." The warrior stood tall, and waited.

Swiftpaw listen to hes mentor, "Okay" he ran towards hes mentor and ducked under him but he had ran to quickly and missed hes belly instead he swiped hes paw across hes side. Swiftpaw jumped back he didnt understand what blackhawk was trying to teach him.

Blackhawk nodded, "Ok. Well, almost. Th point of that is that when you slide under another wolf, and you scarpe your paws against his belly, your claws will do a lot of damage to his belly, leaving him severly bleeding and then you will have a weakend opponent. but of course I don't want ya ripping my belly open." The dark warrior chuckled. "Try again."

"Oh right i see." Swiftpaw ran towards blackhawk this time he ducked and skidded under the dark wolf and swiped hes paw down hes stomach. and then quickly got out of under him to see if he had done it right.

Blackhawk just saw a dark streak. He blinked his eyes and opened them in time to see the apprentice run under him. Before he could look between his paws Swiftpaw was finished. "Great Job! Your speed is going to come in very handy. With your speed, wow I'm going to have to think of more things so that you can keep using your speed." The warrior was absolutley flabbergasted, the apprentice was fast, very fast. He smiled with pride."Alright, now let us use that root eight there. Stand on it and use your aim to land on my back. Either try to knock me down or don't let me shake you off. Extra note: I'll be walking around, so you have to try your best, but its ok if you don't successfully do it yet."

Swiftpaw stood on the root eight and jumped quickly towards blackhawk as he thought he was going to land on him, he was drifting away from him and Swiftpaw landed flat on hes face he got up and shook hes head and fur. "darn" Swiftpaw said in embarrassment, as he tried again this time landing himself on side of blackhawk

The thunderclan warrior smiled kindly. "don't worry thats why we train." He shuffled his paws a bit, "Now try again." He had barely gotten his words out when Swiftpaw landed next him, "Close, again." He smiled and braced for impact.

Swiftpaw took in a deep breathe this time he's measure up the landing and watched blackhawk if he would move, and then he jumped in the air, and directly on to Blackhawk's back and held on as he felt the landing impact

Blackhawk stumbled a bit as the pup came directly onto his back. He bucked him off gently and turned. "Very good, very good. Lets try that one more time." This time Blackhawk began to make wide circles around the clearing and he would occasionally turn back and go the other way. He smiled.

Swiftpaw stood up again and this time watched blackhawk and tried to watch the pattern in which he was going in he waited as he was close enough and jumped right on top of him again landing successfully.

Swiftpaw jumped off. "How have I done today am I on the way of becoming an awesome warrior." Swiftpaw said in a eager tone.

Blackhawk rolled over and smiled as Swiftpaw jumped off. "You are doing amazingly! I couldn't ask for anything more, and I wuld be proud to have you at my side in battle." The warrior smiled and nodded Swiftpaw really was doing great and if he could combine everything with his speed, he would be a nightmare in battle for all the other clans.
