September 30th, 2012 Meeting

Many things were discussed at this meeting, it was great that people showed up!

- We are planning on adding a "House-dog" aspect to the role-play. This means that new members, when joining, can choose to be either a wolf or a dog (as in a dog owned or once owned by Twolegs). This character can roam about the Twoleg places, such as private houses, the park, etc. Some dogs may even venture into Clan territory (but of course they wouldn't know what it is about). If seen, they can be chased off or injured by pack members. If they do something extraordinary (or perhaps we'll have the option of buying this perk) they can join the Clans with their dog characters, yet would probably still be discriminated against. Additionally, they would not be able to show up at gatherings or anything like that either. This plan is still in the works of course.

- The above could also bring up the plot point of having a wolf vs. dog kind of fight, or perhaps the dogs could form their own pack somehow and make their own hierarchy and decide their own leader and take up territory nearby, I would be open to this. We could also talk about allowing our current members to break off from their current Clans to make new ones in new territories to rapidly expand the land off of the original, but of course it would need to be approved by the Admins and there would be guidelines when doing this.

- I will be creating "Clan rooms" where only Clan members can see it. They can discuss battle schemes and plan surprise battles against other Clans to re-gain lost territory or attack new ones, possibly driving out the old Clan in the process. Everything is fair game to make it interesting!

- To go along with everything role-play wise, we will need to devise some kind of fighting system. Since everything like it seems to be getting too complicated, we could just hope for the best and have the admins and mods moderate the role-play and remove the god-modding posts, etc, while also creating guidelines everyone can understand. A topic regarding this will be made.

- The next contest will be a drawing contest. More details soon.

- The next gathering topic is being opened momentarily to go role-play the gathering!

- New events will be updated for the month.

I like the house-dog idea Shadetstar! That would be interesting!

I like the hose dog idea Shade, as for the fighting on other website I have joined they usual with signal wolf on wolf fights have a couple judges and witnesses to watch the fight and make sure everything is realistic and fair, these judges will then decide the winner based on the role play quality, the writer's skill, the wolf's fighting tactics, realism, etc to decide the winner if it hasn't already been predetermined by the two rpers. Perhaps a similar form could work for one on one fights, as for clan battles this would be trickier to decide and i suggest to predetermine the winner before starting.

I like the idea of the house dogs. i also like the idea of having a rogue dog pack starting to make their own territory.

Yeah the roge dog is interesting. But this is just some random idea. Maybe there could be other clans in the area maybe..... Just an idea

Well maybe clans for the rouge dogs they could create and decide on a name or we could all decide a name but i like these ideas,

ect. Skyclan would be my favourite but maybe the dogs would think of something more... gory... like,

Yeah like what happened with bloodclan so maybe they could like regroup and have a new leader like a dog named murder or something

Woah! All these ideas sound so cool!
