The boundary between ThunderClan and WindClan

Stormchaser though about going back to camp. He ran to thunderclan. He sprinted through the forset to camp. He though about his family.

Ottersky padded up and sat down near the border, he stared across a light rumble coming out from his chest. He looked up at the blue sky that was studded with clouds he let out a short howl before lying down and licking his paws. he waited for phoenixpup interestedly.

Ottersky perked his ears looking at amberpaw "amberpaw" His voice was warm in greeting as he looked at the dappled female. His brown eyes were bright with life as he looked at her. His thoughts still on Scarletsoul. He had only been away from her for a while yet he missed her so much. However he shook himself reminding himself to be polite.

The apprentice trotted up panting, his mouth was open as he panted out hot air. He sat down his ears tilted back a little as he looked at the thunderclan wolf. He tilted his head a look of untrustingness on his goofy face. He blinked and gave a grin "im hurricanepaw!"

He gave a rougish grin and said "well aren't you lucky! i don't have an apprentice yet" he looked at hurricanepaw and tilted his head. In his opinion the gray apprentice didnt look like he was all there. However keeping his reservations to himself the handsome young warrior flashed a grin at amberleaf.

He flicked his ears and said "well Hurricanepaw looks a bit like Okami is it safe to say that they are siblings? and there is no way that Heatherstar would give Raggedfur an apprentice. he woudl eat them alive" he gave a light chuckle sitting down keeping a close eye on the sky.

Ottersky nodded "yeah i hope so, he would be fun to mentor" he watched her with kindness in his bright brown eyes. He scratched his ears and asked "whats it like in Windclan? i heard via the grapevine that spottedheart has gone missing?" The male was curious in the belle females life.

Hurricanepaw pouted, he didnt like the way that his mentor was looking at this thunderclan wolf. Deciding to ruin the moment he stood swaying and bumped into his mentor by 'accident' "oops sorry Amberleaf". He chirped not looking at all sorry, his gray eyes glared at this intruder.

Ottersky returned Amberleafs look, he blinked starting back as the gray apprentice reappeared on the scene. He gave a hoarse chuckle flicking his ears to the east as he heard something. "careful there bud you might hurt someone". his face crinkled up in a smile. he paused before saying "youth is a fallin gstar that never burns out"

Hurricanepaw stayed firmly where he was, he growled at ottersky "don't take her away from me! i like her!" His voice was sullen and upset. his gray eyes regarded Ottersky with intense dislike. He turned and slowly made his way after amberleaf. His ears back he looked down and depressed.

Ottersky blinked saying to amberleaf "haha don't worry about it Amberleaf" He watched as she left and tilted his head listening to the apprentice. He said "i wasn't planning to?" his voice wavered. These windclanners were on something, probbaly catnip. He stretched luxuriously and headed to fourtrees.

Origamiheart panted up to the border, today had been the most adventure filled one yet. Slwoly the male lied down five feet from the border and panted until he was full and rested. "i think I'll stay here." He whispered to no on e and placed his head on his paws. "Right here."

Emberfeather stepped lightly among the branches of the forest trees high over head. She wasn't giving up just yet. This was the last try, her final attempt to break through Origamiheart's barriers. Trying to be silent, the russet fae traveled among the trees, stopping just behind Origamiheart. She lied down upon the branch as silently as she could, resting her chin on her paws as she examined the male. She said nothing, trying not to stare at him, but examine her surroundings. Words wasn't his strong point, so she was going to try one last time, one last approach.

Origamiheart perked his ears and looked around. His nose twitched as he inhaled. He thought he smelled Emberfeather again, but he dismissed it, he was on Thunderclan territory after all. Sitting up the male gazed out towards Windclan territory his eyes narrowed. Strange, he thought, how four clans of wolves all live together in this place. All accustomed to certain things... Water and rivers for riverclan. Shadows and bogs for Shadowclan, Moors and plains for windclan and the forest with trees for Thunderclan. The mountains and skies for Sunclan. What would happen if we could no longer live here? The male shook his head, that would never happen. Lying down once more, he looked down watching a line of ants crawl by his paws. He put his thin head by them and watched the hard working ants with interest. How do ants know where to find food? Why do they travel like that? Questions filled his head, always to be unanswered. He sighed and looked up.

Emberfeather watched, facinated, as Origamiheart remained silent, staring at all the wonderes. She eventually lost interest in him and began to peer around. She watched the clouds intently, her eyes following them as they drifted across the sky. What are clouds? Are they a part of StarClan's hunting grounds? Is that where they go to hunt and play when the stars aren't out/ Questions of her own rang in her head, and she stared at them for a good while before peering down again to check on Origamiheart. She was surprised to see him still there, now examining something on the ground. Well, he hasn't left yet. Her eyes widened in panic as he began to look up, and she drew in a sharp breath, wondering if Origamiheart would spy her.

Origamiheart twitched his ear once more, his nose picking up the scent again. Origamiheart leaned his ehad even more back and caught sight of the female, again. But he pretended to go over it, wondering what she was doing. Shaking his head, he stood, stretched and yawned. Origami had something planned as he stood and padded a few feet away sniffing here and there. He perked his ears, and looked in one direction as if he could hear something, he began to stalk towards it, soon disappearing in the undergrowth.

Emberfeather stood, following the male curiously. He didn't seem frightened or he never ran away. Maybe I can get through to him in a way besides words. Maybe I just need to see things through his eyes.

Orgamiheart could hear her, slightly not much but he could. His ear twitched as he continued to stalk forward. Soon he rounded a tight corner, out into a clearing and past. Why wsas she following him? He wouldn't confront her, he just kind of wanted to lose her.

Is he just trying to loose me? Emberfeather followed closely behind Origamiheart. She rounded the bends, gracefully stepping from branch to branch. As she reached the clearing, she went around the long way. When she got to the other side, she couldn't find him. There! She leaped in the trees, following the bobbing ear-tips of the tri-colored male, hardly stopping to catch up to him. As he rounded a sharp bend, she heard a crack. Uh-oh. She just caught enough of a glimpse of the weak ash branch snapping before she plummeted to the ground. She landed with a thump, stunned for a moment before sitting up. She stood, giving a short yelp as pain shot up her leg. She lifted her front left paw, frowning at the jagged sliver of wood protruding from her paw. "Dang it," she muttered, wracking her brain. Geeze I with Feathersoul were here right now, she thought, beginning to slowly limp back to camp.
