Pinepaw Training with Ripplestone :3

Pinepaw nodded, looking at his mentor as she told him some battle tips. "Okay then." The red apprentice said, padding backwards. He crouched down, slowly moving towards Ripplestone. He wasn't very strong, so he would need to use his quickness in battle. Pinepaw glanced at his mentor, wondering how to start with a move. Looking at her paws, showing he would be leaping there, he moved forward from where he was near the ground. He crouched down more, and leaped towards Ripplestone's muzzle, lifting up his paw and trying to bat it at her nose or eyes.

Pinepaw's eyes blinked as he realized his move wasn't going to work. He let out a yelp as he was sent on top of his mentor, and he tried to get free from her holding onto his paw. He wondered if she would be showing him RiverClan moves, like when fishing. Certainly out of all his siblings only Sunpaw, who was mentored Stoatblaze, would also know the proper RiverClan fishing skills.

Pinepaw let out a bark as he landed on the ground. His mentor had then leaped at him and probably was trying to pin him down. He tried to move out of the way by rolling away, though he wasn't able to do that in time. Not knowing what to do, Pinepaw went limp, hoping that this defense move would help him.

Pinepaw nodded, looking up at his mentor. He went limp once more for a few moments, trying to be unexpected. The red apprentice pushed out with his back legs, doing the move she had told him of. He didn't try to hurt Ripplestone, only trying to make sure that he'd be able to get out from under her pin.

The wolf nodded, standing up. He looked up at Ripplestone as she told him what he could do. Stepping back, Pinepaw looked at his mentor. He leaped at her, going to the right. A few moments later he tried to lean to the other side, now aiming at Ripplestone's left. The red wolf had an idea; he hoped it would work.

The red-furred apprentice felt his mentor's paw bat at him, though soon he'd crashed into his opponent. He smiled back at Ripplestone as she grinned at him. "So, how was that?" He asked, his brown eyes looking at the wolf he'd faced against in training. He hoped Ripplestone would say he did fine.

Pinepaw looked at his mentor as she told him some moves. He nodded, and had practiced as she had flicked her ears for him to, he hoped he did okay. "Sure. We could do that." The apprentice stood up on his paws and looked up at Ripplestone.

Pinepaw looked at his mentor as she appeared to be slightly asleep. That didn't seem usual, was she planning some move? Suddenly she came forward, and the apprentice let out a yelp. He moved his muzzle out of the way in defense, though the warrior was now coming towards his paw. Not having time to move out of her range, he sat down and lifted up a front paw, hoping to distrract her so he could try a move.

Pinepaw blinked as she moved away, not going after his paw that wasn't lifted up. Ripplestone appeared at his side, and had came at him, making him stumble and land on his side. The apprentice noticed an opprotunity to try out a move his mentor taught him, so he stood still a few moments. He quickly tried to slide under his mentor, doing the move she had told him.

Pinepaw looked up at Ripplestone as she had moved away. His honey brown eyes blinked as dust fell on his face. Shaking out his fur, he blinked his eyes to try and get the dust out of them. "No one would do that in an actual fight, would they?" As he said this, Pinepaw leaped at the warrior, aiming his paws at her ears.

Pinepaw let out a yip of surprise as Ripplestone kicked out at him, sending him tumbling to the ground. Nodding at what she said about the move, the red apprentice in turn started kicking up some more dust. His red pelt allowed him to blend in a bit. Be unpredictable. Pinepaw leaped at Ripplestone, aiming to land at her shoulders.

Pinepaw smiled as his move had been successful, looking down at Ripplestone. "Thanks Ripplestone. I'm learning from the best mentor." He said, leaping onto the ground. He was glad that Ripplestone was his mentor, and he wondered what they'd work on next.

Pinepaw nodded, glancing at his mentor. He tried leaping to the side as Ripplestone ran at him, holding his muzzle up and hopefully out of the way. The apprentice tried leaping at her paws. He hoped that would put her further off balance; Ripplestone was more experienced at fighting than he was, so he wasn't sure if it would work.
