Crystal Cave Ideas: Coupons!

Alright, we all know that sometimes we get annoyed at some of the higher prices in the Crystal Cave, especially when its something we want. So I've formed an idea; Coupons! (No idea if I spelt that right)
Coupons can be earned in different ways; some suggestions would be winning contest, making a certain amount of posts, etc. They could be earned from OOC (Winning a contest or coming with an idea?) and, In charcter aswell (Getting promoted [Without rank promo]).
They would be something like, 5 crystals off any charcter addition, etc. There would be a little thing for coupons like the loyalty and stats.
Overall it is a convient idea that needs consideration. Feel free to post what you think!

Everyday seems unreasonable. No one can get online every single day. How bout every week, or every few days or something?

It's a good idea, it really is... but you have to have really dedicated people.

Maybe there could be like if yo came only at least once a day?

Hmm, now to think about it. I don't think 'coupons' should be for being on every day. Maybe loyalty and other things, that would seem more fair.

Some people may not be able to do that. I come on rarely on weekends because my days are full. I don't think attendance should be part of this 'coupon' thing. It's kind of like the "Perfect Attendance Award" at schools. I see them as unfair because you never know what is going in people's lives.

Maybe they can be awarded for how helpful they are, loyalty in rp, maybe as they move in rank, contests and maybe other random things?

Good idea Rain & Hawk! I like the list idea.
But what if the List (Almost like a buy log for coupons) was updated at the end of each week (Exceptions can be made if on EFA or extremley busy, etc.) by the user themself?

I trust most everyone here, but I think that that wouldn't be the best idea. Mostly because the user might not want to or it could take up too much space. Where would the user put this?

I think this should only be applied for certain items in the shop. The ones it should not be applied to are:
- Automatic Rank Promotion (350 Crystals) - I got this added to the shop to be used when a character actually is active but hasn't been duly rewarded for it. Coupons used on this item would turn it into a contest to see who would be promoted first and a decline in activity due to not having to earn certain ranks at all.
- Mod Powers (1 week, 2 weeks) (100, 150 crystals) - I could see coupons for this item simply turning into a kicking festival, which could eventually evolve into a banning festival. It's a high-risk move that could have good results (elimination of chat misbehavior) but also bad results (long-term banning of innnocent people).

Otherwise, I could see this as an idea that would really work to both improve popularity of the crystal cave and the pack in general, and make the rp more interesting.

The "Similar Idea" mentioned in earlier posts was for "loans" not "coupons". I did not suggest the former idea, and the coupons idea is uniquely different from the loans idea.
