SunClan Camp

Brokenglare's eyes were filled with horror. W-what's going on here? Did a Sunclan warrior just attack her own leader? And the leader commited suicide? Just what is going on here?, she thought shocked and confused. She ha standed outside of the cave and watched what was going on for a while, acting kinda invisible. She hadn't even listened to patrols and other stuff she was supposed to be in, she was just trying to see this in a calm perspective. The female opened her mouth to speak out. "Um, just what is going on here?", she asked, confusion filling her voice

Jadefeather stood motionless, paralysed by shock and confusion. "D-d-did Direstar just....?" she stuttered utterly bewildered. What had Mosseybreeze been DOING that made Dire kill himself?, she cried in her head. Jadefeather shot Bronkenglare a totally dumb-struck look and tears began to well up in the WindClan female's eyes. She had not know Direstar all too well but it was enough to make anyone cry at the fact that much respected, nobal leader of SunClan was dead. How could this be?, she thought and shook her head looking down at her feet. The death of Direstar would strike everyone very hard. He would be mourned by all.

Heatherstar scrunched her eyes up as tight as she could and let out a self-controling growl, rising slowly to her paws and gazing wordlessly around the camp. Lashing her tail, her eyes filled with grief, the female spun around and stormed out of the camp entrance in a flurry of fury, her fur bristling ever so slightly. "Come on!" She snapped at the WindClan wolves that were left as she brushed past them on her way out, anger coursing through her body. "Don't just stand there like lemons! We need to stop the others before they do something stupid like launch the attack themselves!" Letting out another shrill, shuddering breath the leader turned and bounded away from the camp, heading back home to warn the others that SunClan had abandoned them and that the attack would be called off.

-Camp-

Brokenglare followed Heatherstars comand and followed. She was still confused about what had just happened, but decided to ignore it. I hope they haven't started the attack themself..., she thought worried. She female started sprinting after her leader.

-camp-

Jadefeather sniffed and flicked her ears. Well this has been an interesting turn of events... Jadefeather thought to herself and followed her leader grudgingly back to camp. She hoped Heatherstar was coping alright with Dire's death but Jade was still worried about the female. She headed back to camp.

-WC Camp-

Before hand, Scarletpup had ran as fast as she could back into the nursery to hide from all the commotion. She now feared having to pop her head out to see what happened. From inside the nursery, she'd heard something about Direstar and the leader of the grass smelling wolves howling. Her howl had shaken Scarletpup and the small bundle of soft fur now huddled in the blackness of a corner in the nursery. She could hear Ebonyfur and her newly born pups at the other side on the den and she wondered whether she should say hello. Don't be a scaredy-dog Scarlet! What are you hiding from?!, she scolded herself in her head before slowly beginning to un-curl herself from the nest. "E-Ebonyfur? Is that you?" she squeaked, not completely sure it was the female. "What just happened?" she asked in an innocent, bewildered voice.

Spottedheart watched her clan mates return to their camp. She wanted to return herself, but she had told Ripplestar that she would help here. "I'll stay until Ripplestar gets back." She decided. The She-wolf then picked up some Juniper berries and padded over to the nursery, where she found Scarletpup inside. "Hello Scarletpup." She greeted and set down the berries. "Can you eat these good berries for me please?" Spottedheart asked the distressed pup kindly.

Scarletpup whipped around and pinned her black ears back against her head warily. "Who are you?" She asked, her voice a little shaky. She didn't want to eat the berries without knowing who this wolf was first.

"she's a medicine wolf."said EbonyFur. "Don't worry, you can trust her."she said. The fae let out a howl, a sorrowful howl as her mourning for Her Beloved. She then looked to the pups.

Scarletpup narrowed her eyes and sniffed the berries before gobbling them up. She jumped back alarmed into the corner as Ebony started to howl. "Why is everyone howling?" she squeaked and covered her ears. "Why is everyone so sad!" she barked again and pawed at her muzzle. Little did she know that their nobel leader Direstar was dead.

Jadefeather ran into the area and let out a tired huff of breath having run all the way from WindClan to here. She needed to get Spottedheart back, but wasn't sure quite where the female was. Jadefeather pocked her head in to SunClan's camp and let out a little bark to let them know she was there. "Is Spottedheart still here?" she asked, her tone not disrespectful but concerned more than anything. She needed to find their Medicine Wolf and fast.

Ghostpup sat up from all the howling. "Who did you see?" his red eyes glowed like his father's. He had no idea what was going on and it made him nervous.

Brackenspirit:

Brackenspirit was grief stricken, the pure pain in his eyes. His father was gone, the only wolf he was close to, the clan leader and his father. This was madness and he refused to accept it. He curled up in the corner and refused to talk to anyone.

Shadowstorm:

Shadowstorm was in shock, Direstar was gone, he was going to be an elder and it was too much to take in. His former mentor, probably his best friend and the only one who knew what it was like to lose a mate, he was gone. Shadowstorm looked at Ripplestar, the new leader was authoritative already. He sighed and went to the body. "I'm going to help bury him. He was one of my best friends, I served as deputy under him and he was my mentor." He said, leaving no room for argument.

(Fern shade already buried Direstar a while ago)

Spottedheart looked up as he saw Brackenspirit walk into the camp. She sighed in relief. "I guess I can go home now." She thought. "Since their Medicine Wolf is back. Gazing around, she was surprised to see Jadefeather run into camp, looking for her. "I'm right here, Jadefeather!" Spottedheart called padding over to her. The worry in her voice concerned the She-wolf. "I was just helping Sunclan since their Medicine Wolf was out." She kept the Warrior fixed in her Amber gaze as she spoke. "Is something wrong at Windclan?" She asked worried.
(Actually, ignore the question, since Spotty's back at camp already)

Jadefeather let out a little sigh of relief as she spotted Spottedheart. "Yes, we need you really bad back at camp. Heather's going crazy with grief..." She explained in a hushed voice, her eyes full of worry. "I tried to calm her but I couldn't so o came to get you." Jade added and flicked her tail nervously. "We need to get back as soon as possible." She explained, spun around and sprinted back towards WindClan Camp.

-WindClan Camp-

Aurorapup said to her siblings "he was big and red, and kinda skinny, he had white throat and under belly" she blilnked her blue eyes and watched her mother withbewilderment. she shook herhead and sat down she lifted her paw and sucked on it comfortably.

Snowpaw curled in her nest. She sniffed. "Direstar's dead. Isn't he. She sniffed and curled up tighter.

Aurorapup walked to the entrance of the nursery and sat down, she had the air of being on a completly different plannet. her blue eyes were drawn to the tan warrior near the middle of the camp. she tilted her head, who was direstar? was he the red wolf she had seen? she shrugged and inspected her white paws interested at how they worked.

Keaflight let out a growl and snapped "mosseybreeze? that daft headed murderer? more likely shes going to kill our leader and say that shes the new leader". her brown fur spiking she looked around searching for her daft apprentice. noticing tigerpaw she walked over to the cream and brown apprentice snapping "have you seen Thunderpaw? heneeds to get his butt here!" She sat down near the entrance. her fur bristling all over the place.

EbonyFur smiled but still had tears in her eyes. "That was your father. He had just went to StarClan."said the wolf. She was just as grief stricken as Heatherstar. She wished Her Beloved to be by her side. To be with her and the pups. Yet, they couldn't. "I agree with Keaflight."she muttered under her breath.

Brackenspirit jumped up with anger. He ran outside his den, "What do you mean with Mosseybreeze getting her nine lives?" He questioned, running out of the camp towards Moonstone. Ripplestone should have waited until he could go with her. It was a medicine wolf's job to do such.
