SunClan Camp

Nightpaw blushed. "T-True."he stammered. "Just like Tigerfern with Thunderfang."he murnured. "Wait. Where IS Tigerfern anyway?"he looked around. "Probably doing border patrols."he thought out loud.

Scarletsoul looked around. "I saw her go out a while ago. I hope she's alright." Scarlet exclaimed and twitched her tail nervously. Should she go look for Tigerfern? But the female had said she didn't want anyone to follow. Scarletsoul shrugged, not knowing what to do.

Mosspup looked at Flamepup. Her eyes were glowing. She was ready to become an apprentice. "THe leader dosn't have to die. It can retire."

Lavapup looked at mosspup and frowned "no if you are the leader you are the leader for life!" he snorted licking his nose he growled "thats why you get given nine lives! you can only retire if you are deputy or a warrior gosh!" his voice was harsh as he glared at the other pup.

"Back off I know my stuff! If they are on the last life they can retire. Pinestar did." She looked at the other pup. She used logic.

He snorted "but then the next leader only had eight lives instead of nine! idiot!" his voice was cold before he snapped "and he became a house pet!" his voice was dripping with disgust. "besides what leader worth their salt would retire? Pinestar was a patheticfool!" he growled angrily at the stupid pup.

SHe growled at the stupid pup. "How dare you say that! He was a great leader and Warrior. If he hadn't left Firestar the first never would have been born!"

Gentleheart walked over to the auguring pups. "alright Mosspaw and lavapaw lets not argue okay." "how about i take you guys on an adventure, would you like that." she felt that maybe the pups needed some fresh air just like she did.

Bramblepup perked her ears hearing the arguing, she bounced over and rolled onto her side saying "who cares about leadership! we are just pups at the moment! lets enjoy it!" she laughed as she sat up then began chasing her tail working hard to try and make the two laugh. She enjoyed laughter, she pranced up on her back legs looking like a wolfy kind of bunny.

Flamepup smiled at Mosspup. He didn't really think what she was saying was right but he went along with it. The male waited for a good opportunity. He waited.

"I don't like to explore but thanks any way." She pranced off to the nursery. THis was her last night here she just knew. THe stars shined over head. SHw whispered,"Starclan thank you for a second chance."

Gentleheart laughed as Bramblepup chased her tail. then she frowned when Mosspup said she didnt like to explore. 'hmm i wonder whats wrong with her.' she thought to herself. Gentleheart laid down in the middle of camp and decided to take a nap.

Scarletsoul listened as the pups argued and she frowned. "Show some respect." She barked and gave a small nod as Gentleheart tried to break it up. The female let out a sigh and cast her gaze out of the cave and over Sunclan territory. She wanted to stretch her legs but didnt want to go out alone.

Mosspup howled a little bit. The sound was almost perfect. She had a beautiful voice. She sang a little tune:
Little flower grow
Make polen flow
Shine like a star
Make ever leaf show
It was a little tune she learned.

Fernshade felt the tune of life in the camp come back to life. Literally. She heard Bramble and Nightpup singing. She chuckled to herself. She sighed and glanced around. She felt border,so she laid down on her stomach and pawed through the ground anxiously.

Nightpaw smiled at Bramblepaw. He nudged her. "Nice singing just now."he said. He was talking about the cheerful song she sang just now.

A smile broke out on the puppys face "thanks Nightpaw!" she sat down and looked over at the leader and frowned a bit upsettedly. She stood and bounced over to the two greiving parents and began playing around with leaves trying to make them laugh.

Mosspup was sad now. Nightpaw didn't like her. She found a cave and hid in it. She though about a song. She sang her little song hopping that someone might hear it. She sang:

Come again tomorrow

Eyes let the sun rise

She fell asleep singing her song. She hoped someone heard it.

Scarletsoul sat at the cave mouth, her black ears twitching as she listened to wolves singing. This was much more peaceful than the camp had been a couple of days ago when the sudden wave of death had swamped Sunclan. The pretty rusty-brown coloured female spread her jaws wide in a yawn and sighed happily. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Fernshade sighed as she heard more singing. She pinned the ears to her head. "I think that should be enough for now. Its getting later,some wolves might be sleeping." She sat up and yawned. She rolled her head around in a circle,and did the same with her shoulders. Fern then stood up and lifted a paw. She glanced around warily,then made her way into the warrior's den.

Scarletsoul barked in agreement with Fernshade at the warrior's comment. Looking up at the sky, Scarlet realised that the next gathering would be soon. She found her thoughts wondering and started to think about a certain brown-multi coloured wolf and gave a sigh. Why couldn't things have been different? Shaking her fur out a little, Scarlet padded over to the fresh-kill pile and took a rather plump looking starling from it; settling down to eat near the camp entrance.

Fernshade yawned and steped around her nest,till she stopped and curled up in it. She sighed with relief,and yawned. She curled her tail,and let it cover her face as she slept. She closed her yellow eyes and slept.

Gentleheart saw Scarletsoul by the camp entrance and padded over to her. "hello Scarletsoul, how are you this evening?" she asked politely. she curled her reddish tail around her. "its so peaceful, that i almost had forgotten what this felt like." Gentleheart wished that Russetwind could have been here to enjoy this.
