Snakerocks

Goldfire stopped near the pile of rocks and looked for the snakes that inhabited the area. Seeing none she moved closer and sat down in the shade waiting for Aurapaw to catch up.

Aura padded over to the snakerocks beside Goldfire. She was nervous, and was looking this way and that for snakes.

Goldfire looked at the apprentice. "Don't worry I have already checked the area and no sanles are out yet. Where is the herb you are looking for and I will help collect it." she said to Aurapaw.

"Just burdock." She said quickly.
"The roots, not the leaves though."

Goldfire stood up and nodded. "Show me the way and I will follow." she said.

Aurapaw sniffed around.
"It's over here!" she said, hopping onto her hind legs for a moment to get Goldfires attention.

Goldfire padded over to where Aurapaw was bouncing. "Ok I'm here now what can I do?" she asked.

"Just dig up the older plants here" Aurapaw said, indicating where the plants were.

"Ok." Goldfire replied. Padding over she quickly began to dig down to the roots.

Blackhawk padded towards the rocks and made sure the females were there too.

Aright first of all watch out for adders ok guys ok black hawk you stay with night pup while i will find us dinner you look to teach she a bit kay then she bounded away

He padded up his pelt dusty he shook himself up then walked over to blackhawk flicking his tail in greeting, he gave a wolfly grin "river clan is keeping to their side of the river, i just came from sunning rocks" he turned scenting something and went into a hunting position, he snuck towards a large fat vole that was scurring out of its den, with a leap he pounced and caught it in his jaws, the warm scent of blood filled his mouth, he trotted back over and sat down it at his paws, he began to tear into it, not on a hunting trip so he knew he could eat it.

Blackhawk smiled and stayed quiet as Phoonixfire hunted, he chuckled. "Well we are the only ones and Rainwhisper isn't around yet, so I guess you can eat." He smiled and looked around for any sign of prey.

He looked up "sorry! i forgot you guys were on a hunting patrol" he grinned," i guess ill have to join yas to make up for it" he twitched his tail over at a tree where a mouse was rustlin through the undergrowth.

Blackhawk smiled and his black ear twitched in another direction. A large crow was on the ground, he smiled and stalked toward it. Unfortunaltey for him it saw him coming and flew away. "Mouse-dung! Darn crow." He looked around for more prey a bit away.

he chuckled and stalked the mouse, his ears perked, the mouse saw his brilliant orange pelt and scurried away into the leaves, he gave a leap and missed it by a few whiskerlengths, he snorted and looked around for more prey.

Blackhawk shrugged and made sure Nightpup and Hawkpool were ok. Smiling he looked around for more prey.

he perked his ears and shoved nightpup to the side just as a adderstruck, he yelped as its fangs sunk into his fur and hobbled back left front leg held up above the ground "starclan curse those adders!" he barked in pain

Blackhawk looked up in time to see the Adder strike, "Phoenixfire! We need to get you back to camp!"

he pinned his ears back in pain, his tail tucked underneath him, the venom raged through his body nearly making him faint, he mumbled "yeah i know" before starting to make his way back to camp achingly slow

Blackhawk sighed and picked up Nightpup, placing her on his back.Carrying the pieces of prey in his mouth he helps Phoenixfire back to camp.

-TC camp-

Before nightpup knew it she was heading back to camp again. She sighed and placed her head on her paws whilst she was carried home

After hunting hawkpool came out unknown about the adder bite so she scampered dragging a plump mouse then went to the clearing and saw they adder with blood on its fang so she ran back to camp to see if anyone got hurt

Getting to the rocks first she waited

Then explained Stay with me ok feather and black hawk your on your own ok be careful kay and later we will go to the windclan border then padded aaway with featherpup at her heels
