Sunningrocks

Icepaw looked up to, perhaps the only nice warrior in ThunderClan. "What hasn't he done Hawkpool? He made Isenpaw leave me by calling her a traitor. I saw him on the borders, he's in love with a WindClan wolf! He's a traitor himself." She cried out, tears streaming from her eyes.

Firepaw arrived and saw Icepaw there with Hawkpool. She nodded at what Icepaw said. "It's true. They touched noses and licked each other's faces. He was doubly angry because we two caught him at the thunderclan/windclan border. He also disowned her as his apprentice." The firey female shivered slightly. She did not like what was going on.

Icepaw cries continued. Tears shed for her pain, her pride, and her sister. She had promised Rainstar she would try, and she did. But it just won't work out. "How will I ever be a warrior without a mentor Hawkpool?" She asked.

Firepaw tried to comfort Icepaw. "You could ask Rainstar for another mentor. Or you could share a mentor?" The firey apprentice smiled at her best friend. "Luna's teaching me along with Falconpaw: she has two apprentices."

Icepaw thought about it. She'd tried asking Rainstar for another mentor before. "I tried asking Rainstar for another mentor before. She refused, so what makes now so different?" She asked her best friend.

Firepaw nudged her best friend compassionly. "I know how you feel. Losing your sister and Swiftstreak's unkind words didn't help. But we can't sneak on him to Rainstar." Firepaw's amber eyes flashed deep inside with love, compassion and a faint hint of anger.

Sighing,she glanced towards the border. "I know he's in love with heatherpaw." She then turned back to the apprentices. "So,yes he is being a traitor." She then grinned. "We'll just have rain catch him in the act. Telling your clan-mates a traitor,is being one yourself." She then snarled. "But rain told you not to disturb her at the owl tree." She then snarled. Sinking her claws into the ground. "Just keep a low profile till tomorrow. Come on,we better get back to camp." She then started towards camp. Flicking her tail,to signal them to come with her.

Nodding to Hawkpool, Firepaw followed the white warrior meekly. She's right. Sneaking on other wolves is not considered right and I'm never going to do it. She threw up her head and smiled a friendly smile. Then she whipped round and ran for the camp.

Nodding to firepaw,she waited for Icepaw. Sighing,she glanced behind her. "You ok? Come on,lets go home. We'll solve this soon enough."

Sighing,she followed the apprentices. [i]Swift,you were a good wolf. What happened to you? Was it blackhawk? He doesn't have to prove anything.[i] She then ran towards camp.

Falconpaw sat down on the cool rocks. His head was droopy and he looked strange. His pelt was ruffled and untidy. He looked at his paws hearing the river rush by.

Falconpaw lifted his head, "You don't have to hide you know." He looked directly at ?Icepaw though he could not see her. "I'm not going to attack you." He lied down and sighjed

Firepaw came through the bushes, nudging her friend as she passed. "Hello Icepaw." The firey apprentice went up to Falconpaw. "Falconpaw, why did you come here?" A softer tone entered her voice as she sat next to him, listening the river rush by. "Are you all right?" She smiled at him, amber eyes glowing.

Falconpaw shook his head, "No..." He stood and looked at her. his eyes held sadness and then something else as he looked at the female. He looked away and lied down again.

Icepaw stalked out of the bushes, caught again. "I know, I was curious and Firepaw sounded like she didn't want to be followed, so I tried to hide." She said defensively. What was the nature of this gathering?

Falconpaw shrugged, "No worries..." He licked his paw and lied his head down. "You guys seen Rainstar?" He stood up again and looked at the faes.

Firepaw's ears flicked and she sat up. The last time I saw Rainstar, was at the Owl Tree. But she sent me away, back to the camp. Rainstar might not want us to disturb her", the firey fae said. She turned to Icepaw. "I never said I didn't want you to follow me. But it's ok." She licked her friend. Firepaw gave Falconpaw a friendly smile before standing up.

Falconpaw nodded, "Okay." He looked at them sadly, he was leaving but he didn't want to say good bye. He looked at Firepaw and sighed his ears drooping. His head was hung low, he had not been himself but now something was obviously up.

Hearing the whole conversation,she sighed and continued to walk. Entering the clearing surrounding sunning rocks,she looked at the apprentices. "You guys need to learn to have a warrior with you when you go out." She then glanced at all of them.

Falconpaw looked at Hawkpool, "Sorry Rainstar told me to meet her here." He turned to wait for his leader. There was something else. Rainstar wasn't just his leader she was more than that. He sighed and sat down, looking glumly at the river. He sighed, he wanted to say bye but it would hurt more.

Glancing at him oddly,she looked at the river. Does he hate life as much as isen did? "Falcon,don't fall in the river." She then gulped the lump in her throat quietly. "We can't lose anymore members. We can't afford to." She then sat down,and looked at the ground,blankly.

Falconpaw looked at her, "Well you're going to. I'm leaving..." He hung his head and sighed. "I can't be in a place where my heart is torn etween friends and family and where I cannot serve. But I'm not going alone."

Looking up,she narrowed her eyes. "Who else is going with you?" She was worried. Swift was right,we are traitors. She then glanced at the two other apprentices. But what can i do about it. I wasn't even born here. But I've adapted easily. She then sighed. Standing up,she shook out her pelt. "Good luck to you then."
