Feathersoul nodded, and with a gentle push with a paw, rolled Rainwhisper over onto her back. "Okay, now, when I say to, push." She grabbed the Dandelion, Comfrey and Lamb's Ear. "Eat these,": she said, pushing the flowers and fluffy leaves towards the birthing fae. "Then chew the comfrey and swallow the juice, but spit the leaves out."

Rainwhisper looked at Feathersoul and couldn't help but smirk, "You'd think I should know this, after watching you eh?" Rainwhisper did as she was told though, she grabbed the leaves in her mouth. she hated them but she might aw well take them. she chewed, swalloqing the juice and spitting out the leaves.

Feathersoul grinned. "Well, watching is one thing." She placed her paw gently on the fae's stomach, letting it be pushed up and down by her contractions. Feeling a strong ripple and kick, the Medicine Wolf barked, "Push, now!"

Rainwhisper's ears flattened, pain contorting her face as she pushed. She closed her eyes, already she wanted this over but she knew it as far from that. Seconds, maybe minutes who knew how long passed before a small wet body slipped out of the female. She groan\ed and dropped her head before leaning over to sniff at her pup.

Feathersoul watched as Rainwhisper bent over to sniff her pup. "No no, not now. You need to concentrate on breathing and delivering your pups. Things will be fine, just lay back and relax." The black fae bent over, nipping open the sack of the pup and licking its fur backwards.

(If you want to just go ahead and get this over with, you can just make a giant post of it all and power-play feather I don't care)

She was tiny and white, her eyes sealed shut for now. she didnt make nary a sound although she was breathing. she moved her left paw forward trying to move she was cold and damp. she was hungry and she could smell milk. the smell appealed to her pink nose and she began dragging herself towards it.

(Okay too lazy to switch.Prepare for the worst post ever)

Rain lied back down and felt another strong shake. She pushed again, a whine cracking in her effort. A gray pup with black paws slipped out. She felt another, sooner than before and again she struggled to push. Soon her white, gray and slightly reddish pup were bron. She felt there were more coming, but paused to take a small break as she began to feel the smae sensation again. Her first of two black pups was born and the lsat was born shortly after. Rain dropped her head tiredly.

(Lol, glad to have gotten that over, aren't you)

As each of Rainwhisper's pups slid out, she nipped open their sacks and placed them beside their mother. She smiled at the seven pups, and a reminder of her own flickered in her mind. With a heavy heart, the fae padded over to her three pups, grabbing them by their scruffs. She slipped over to Rainwhisper, gently setting down her three blind and deaf pups beside her friend's. "Just in case," she mumbled, sitting back down again.

the small male pup wiggled around the other small bodies beside him. he felt something warm reach down and lick his fur.he smelled his mothers milk and he found an open spot and suckled. he was cold and damp, but so were his brothers and sisters. he felt happy and continued to suck the warm milk.

Rainwhisper looked at Feathersoul and smiled lightly, "They'll be fine." She looked at all eight pups and closed her eyes. She had a pawful but she was ready for it, especially knowing her friend would be there to help. Rain nudged each pup in turn, giving each one a soft lick. She watched her own and sighed, "Oh I forgot I have to name them." Se spoke with sarcasm and smiled, first she looked around, her eyes landing on her first and only white pup. Rain knew there was something different there but she didn't mind. All eight were beautiful. "Crystalpup." She whispered as she gave the female a nudge closer to herself. Her eyes moved to the second, a gray furred pup and with closer inspection she had black paws. Rainwhisper froze slightly watching the other small female, her markings closely similar to that of her own brothers. "Blackpup, after Blackhawk..." She continued down, a dark reddish pup. She blinked the distinct coloration on this pup reminding her of someone else. She smiled, "Phoenixpup... for Phoenixstar." Two more, she looked at both males and smiled, she nudged the lightest, "Adderpup, for Adderpaw, and Owlpup for Nightowl." She curled herself around all of them and looked at Feather a small light smile upon her muzzle.

Adderpup squirmed, opening his maw and letting out a whine. The male squirmed closer to Rainwhisper as he felt a poke in his side. Scrambling on top of his siblings, he latched onto Rainwhisper. He refused to let his mother go as he suckled, enjoying the warm milk she provided.

Blackpup felt cold and then sudden warmth. She cuddled closer to her mum but scooted away from the excess warmth. Her black paws pulled across as she finally reached over and began to suckle the warm milk. Scents mixed around her, the warmth scent of her brothers and sisters, her mothers warm milk and more milk mixed with the scent of herbs. The pup didn't get any of what this meant, she just knew she was hungry.

From one to another, Leaf was moved. She gave a small whine of protest as she had been left alone without milk. She could smell more near her but she didn't want that one, she wanted the one from before. Milk from the wolf with the sweet scent of herbs. She turned crawling around looking for the first source of food.

Adderpup's small black nose twitched. unfamilier scents squirmed around him, and they didn't smell like his mother or siblings. He snorted as his head was pushed down by something mashing above him. He squirmed, weakly pawing the air.

Feathersoul smiled faintly as Leafpup crawled over towards her. Feathersoul streached out on the opposite side of Rainwhisper, encirling the 10 pups between them. She pawed her daughter over to her belly, letting her suckle. She did the same to Stormpup and Graypup, thinking they might prefer her because of them able to sence her as their mother.

Rainwhisper smiled at the squirming pups and laid each one by each others side so none were under or over each other. She watched Feathersoul with her pups and gave a weak smile before laying her head close to the pups. She blinked her blue eyes tiredly and yawned. The fae's head snapped up, as she looked around her eyes narrowed. Her white fangs bared slightly only to reveal the opponent as a bird. She chuckled nervously and curled around the five tighter.

Leafpup smelt her mother and crept closer latching on and suckling with glee. In her mind this was who she was supposed to be with and there was none other. With happy pup like slurps she pressed her tiny paws against Feathersoul's belly. Her brothers around her, and the warm scent of milk, the pup was simply happy.

Feathersoul smiled at Rainwhisper's false alarm. "Maybe we should get back to camp... They might get worried about us."

Rainwhisper looked up at the female and smiled, "Enjoy your pups a bit more. We can return in our good time, they will understand." She smiled and wrapped her whole body around her five pups, she smiled and nuzzled each one. Their tiny bodies soft and warm.

Graypup whimpered and suckled. He pushed his sister. And continued suckling. It somewhat sounded like he was laughing. He wanted to open his eyes.

Crystalpup made no noise as she continued to suckle, the poor scrap ahd beenborn without a voice box. the white smallest pup of the litter had a pink nose and didnt look very wolfish. her tiny paws rested under her as she continued to suckle weakly.

Rainwhisper looked at her pups, her eyes landing on Crystalpup. She narrowed her eyes slightly at the weak suckling, and gently picked the tiny fae up. She placed her closer to herself, and licked her fur kindly. She didn't care if something was wrong with her pup, she loved her anyway.

Leafpup pressed closer and closer to her mother as Graypup pushed her away. Se just held on and moved her rear away from him as she suckled from her mum loudly and gladly. To her nothing was better than the warmth and comfort of her mom. With a small burd she paused and fell asleep.

Feathersoul smiled warmly down at little Leafpup, who was suckling noisily. It looked like she would be healthy, as well as Graypup. Concerned, the fae bent down, nosing Stormpup worridly. He hadn't moved nor made any sounds, and he was in danger of becoming sick, or even... No. Don't think about that. It won't happen, she reassured herself, peering at Rainwhisper's little white one, Crystalpup. "She's lovely."

Adderpup sprawled out, relaxed from the removal of Crystalpup from his side. The little pup rolled onto his side, suckling stronger. His tiny tail twitched in what was supposed to be a wag. With the warmth of his siblings around him, he felt safe.

(Time to go and reveal the pups...)

Rainwhisper nudged her pups softly before standing over them, "We shouldn't stay out any longer, it will only get colder..." She did not wish to deprive the pups from their mother but they did have to leave. They'd be safer in the camp anyways. she began to gather her own pup.

as the teat got dragged out of hermouth the litthe white runt flattened her ears and gave a small swipe with a paw that hit adderpup by mistake. she shivered with cold, even with her siblings around her she didnt feel, well right. her ears twitched hearing them make noises and so she tried to as well only to make no noise at all.

Rainwhisper picked Crystalpup up first, she held her in her mouth with care. She did not wish to leave her pups here, she wanted them all to make an appearance in the camp together. So with much care and a rather expert paw, she held two by the scruff and the other three she carried upon her broad back. She would stnad leaving them here in any way or circumstance. Together they would go. "Don't shilly shally..." She walked off with her pups, stopping every so often to make sure they were all okay on their way back to the camp.
