WindClan Camp

WindClan Camp is the members' home. It's large and airy, with gorse bushes all around to hide it. A legend says that Windstar, the founder of WindClan, scooped out some sand to make the natural dip that the Camp is based.

There are no proper den structures, so the members sleep out in the open, under the stars. If there is bad weather, they may go into little dens made by other creatures such as badgers and foxes, though this is rare.

In the middle of the camp is Tallrock, a place where the leader will make announcements. There are dens for the elders, and there is a nursery, by the wall of gorse. There is a leader's den next to the Nursery.

he glanced up then nodded and walked over to her and sat down he began to tear into it his tail wagging "fanks for shawing" he mumbled between bites. his fur as he is getting older has begun to obtain a reddish colour kind of liek blood

Shadepup nodded, he started to grind up the spinach. He was really halping a clanmate. Maybe Skydust would see and approve of his work and take him on as a medicine wolf apprentice.

"Moonpup! We think we found a cure for you!" Said Shadepup excitingly.

"Yes, Snowflower knew one, all we had to do was find the right herbs!" He said leading her to the area of the herbs to cure her.

Shadepup applied the herbs. "Now we wait." He said sitting down.

"A day maybe, there isn't much more I can do." He said sorrowfully.

direpup yawned and left hollowfang alone he wandered over to where shadepup and moonpup were and sat down beside them "whats up guys?"

"This remedy worked when I was a pup, our mother applied this for me and in a few weeks, I was cured from blindness."she looked to the sky sadly, "My siblings and mom..."she thought to herself. "You have to be patient though, and if it doesn't work then it might have been to late for you to apply the cure. So, don't feel bad if it is too late ok?"she said trying to make Moonpup happy.

Heatherpup ate her share of the prey before bounding over and siting beside Direpup. Her ears perked up as she caught what Snowflower had said. A remedy? She looked at Moonpup had suddenly understood what she meant. "I hope this works." She whispered into Direpup's ear. As much as she wanted Moopup to be cured of her blindness, she didn't want to get her hopes up by squealing aloud.

he nodded and leaned against heatherpup his eyes sad he murmured "if her eyes are cured then her and you will be made apprentices but i wont be made one for ages..." he sighed and licked her nose.

"Moonpup, you will become a 'paw', I'll make sure of it." He said calmly, his eyes hiding his worries.

Heatherpup felt sorry for Direpup and she smiled at him weakly. "Don't worry." She nodded as Moonpup spoke. "We both will."
She giggled and licked his ear cheekly, "Besides, it won't be long. You're already bigger than me!"

"Don't worry Moonpup, you will achieve that goal someday." she said and gave her a light pat on the head.

"No, not someday, soon, when I become a 'paw' and Heatherpup becomes a 'paw'." He argued. No way his friend would miss out on the 'paw' title.

Direpup stood and walked over to moonpup and licked her cheek he then sat down heatherpup on one side and moonpup on hte other side he said "you and heatherpup are my best friends, and when we are apprentices we can all work together to help our clan" he glanced over at shadepup and smiled a little shyly he had never really talked much to shadepup "and you too shadepup"

he grinned then lay down licking his paws, his tail thumping "i hope the poultice works!" he yawned showing slightly yellowed teeth like his friend hollowfang he chuckled softly and bilnked his eyes that were beginning to take on a brownish hue.

"Yep" she yipped hopefully befoe a thought popped into her mind. "Who do you think our mentors will be?" Her curious gaze raked across her too friends and finally rested on Shadepup's dark pelt. I certainly know who Direpup wants it to be. She thought with a grin, but it's Russetstar's decision in the end I suppose... She looked at Direpup and noticed for the first time that the gingery patches on his fur had become accutly darker, and she flinched a little. It looked like blood. She sharply ripped her gaze away and gave her head a small shake to clear her thoughts before letting her gaze rest again on her friend.

"Maybe one of you pups will be my apprentice." she giggled.

Dawnpup trotted into camp and saw SnowFlower and the others talking. She walked over to them and heard SnowFlower. "I hope I become an apperentice soon. I'm old enough." Dawnpup said. "Maybe I'll be your apprentice!" she said, playfully. "It's up to Russetstar to decide, though."
