WindClan Camp

WindClan Camp is the members' home. It's large and airy, with gorse bushes all around to hide it. A legend says that Windstar, the founder of WindClan, scooped out some sand to make the natural dip that the Camp is based.

There are no proper den structures, so the members sleep out in the open, under the stars. If there is bad weather, they may go into little dens made by other creatures such as badgers and foxes, though this is rare.

In the middle of the camp is Tallrock, a place where the leader will make announcements. There are dens for the elders, and there is a nursery, by the wall of gorse. There is a leader's den next to the Nursery.

"Maybe you will."she giggled and pat her head softly.

Having watched the members walk about for a while, Russetstar, with one large bound, leapt onto Tallrock. His eyes gaze down at the members before issuing a long howl, which echoed around the moors.
"It is time for the apprentice and warrior ceremonies."

Heatherpup's ears perked up and swivelled around as Russetstar's howl rang through her ears. Her tail began to thump excitedly and her eyes grew wide with awe as she realised what that meant.Her and her friends apprentice ceremony was here! She felt so full of Excitment she thought that her heart was about to explode, and her tail wagged so fast that it was easy to imagine it flying off.

Tallpaw jumped in alarm when he heard Russetstar's voice echo around the camp; he hadn't even seen the leader jump onto Tallrock. Feeling a thrill of excitment at Russetstar's words, Tallpaw hopped to his paws and pranced to the base of the rock, sitting down and waiting impatiently for the ceremonies to be carried out.

Seeing that his call had been noticed, Russetstar continued. "I think we all know it's time for some of our warrior and apprentice ceremonies. Tallpaw, please step forward."

Heatherpup turned around so that she was now looking up at Tallrock, and at her leader which had seated himself dominantly on top of it. Her tail ceased it's excited thrashing as Russetstar summoned Tallpaw forward, and her paws tingled with anxiety and anxiousness. She looked back in the direction of Direpup, Moonpup and Shadepup with an excited grin fixed on her muzzle.

Moonpup looked at Heatherpup excitedly. Her very own apprentice ceremony! She wriggled in anticipation.

"This is so exciting." She giggled to herself.

Moonpup looked over at Snowflower. "Yeah!" she nodded vigorously. She turned to look back at Tallpaw. She wondered what his warrior name would be!

Waking up and stretching tigerpup paded out into the inviting rays of sunshine
She saw moonpup and tallpaw talking
She then just shrugged
After that she went to get some fresh-kill
She found a rabbit as big as her and brought it over to the nursery and began to eat

"Come on Tigerpup, the ceremony is starting."she said as she walked to tigerpup and back to sit.next to Moonpup. SnowFlower sat down quietly and watched as Tallpaw padded towards Russetstar.

Dawnpup was excited. She'd never seen a naming ceremony before. She ran over to the Tallrock and sat down, looking up at Russetstar and the others who were going to be apperentices.

SnowFlower giggled, "I can see someone that is really really excited." she said and looked at Dawnpup.

"I am. I've never been to a naming ceremony before." Dawnpup said defensively. "Maybe one of the apperentices will be yours?"

"Maybe, I hope one of them is, I will be so happy if one of them is my apprentice." she giggled. "Well, let's sit and wait to see what happens." she said and kept quiet again.

"Yeah," Dawnpup said.

Jumping up and down excitedly she was excited that someone was going to be an apprentice
But was sad that she Probably was not going to be one
After thinking she sat up but kept wagging her tail

Direpup ran up to the rock and sat down, his tail wagging he hope he hoped that he would be made an apprentice, he really wanted to prove to the clan that he was something great!, his eyes sparkled with mischeif.

he chuckled and turned his head shoving his nose into her fur, then turned staring up at Russetstar "i hope that Hollowfang will be my mentor" he whispered to himself.

he glanced over at her and nodded, returning the gentle nudge. he stared up at the rock, the blood colour in his fur beginning to emerge.

Tallpaw looked up in alarm when Russetstar called his name; surely he wasn't to be included in this ceremony? Tallpaw didn't think any apprentices would be promoted to warriors, just pups to apprentices. Quivering in anxiety and apprehension and excitement, Tallpaw took a tentative step forward towards his leader.

Direpup glanced over at Tallpaw and tilted his head a little before returning to staring up at russetstar, his eyes a dull hue, he shook himself and lay down licking his paws.
