"Carnival"

This is a role-play event which occurs after the meeting in Fourtrees #2.

An abandoned carnival sits here, forlorn and with an unwavering silence that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand straight up on end. In the center of the carnival sits a tall pole- and, at the top, a flag- the flag which originally caught the attention of the wolves at the Gathering. Now that the meeting was over, Shadestar led a group to this place in order to investigate and hopefully put a stop to any Twoleg activity. However, it seems like there hasn't been any for an extended period of time. There's an old, run-down ferris wheel and a couple wooden rollercoaster, as well as a funhouse and some booths- one for selling tickets, many for receiving prizes, and many old food and beverage booths. There is a sign in front of the entrance- CAUTION, NO TRESPASSING- but of course the wolves cannot understand and enter anyway. As you walk in, it seems at the corner of your eye you see a light flicker. Turning, you only see the broken, shattered bulb of an old colored bulb that decorated the carnival itself. How curious... and also, how creepy. Something doesn't feel right- something must have happened here.

"It'll be okay, Skypaw. If the twolegs come, all the clans will fight them - this is a truce." said Magmapup reassuringly.

"I don't see why you guys are worried. I like this place. IT'S AWESOME!"

Rainpup looked around, she waited for her friends to catch up.

Tallpup was relieved when Skypaw let the subject go, but it concerned him that she still seemed so dejected. He cast her a sidewards glance, wondering if he should ask, but he didn't want to resurface the worry or anger that had just flickered out, and besides, Tallpup was sure she'd be back to her usually-cheery self eventually. Still laying down but looking around attentively, Tallpup waited for something to happen.

Magmapup slowly stepped a bit away from Skypaw, and also waited for something to happen.

Silverpup wasn't paying attention to the creaky surrounding her eyes behind d her. Flying and bumped sky and tall with full speed. She gasped and tumbled into a soft plush animal looking creature. It landed on her very large and weighed her down. Scrambling helplessly she grunted her petite body unable to pull herself out.

Once again, no one woudl listen to Shadepup. He liked it that way.

Lightningpaw bounded to the strange place, looking up at the flag and looking around. She was not at all spooked by the strange place and charged in happily, not noticing if Apachepaw was behind her or not. She sniffed something that looked like it was supposed to block the enterance but it didn't seem harmful. So she trotted in, looking at the pups exploring. She followed Silver, Sky and Tall then watched as Silverpup tumbled onto some strange soft creature. She approached it and sniffed it, even as the pup was on it. She bit it and it was soft but it didn't taste like food. "What in the world is that?" She asked, sniffing the odd item.

The male padded after Lightningpaw his eyes taking in his surroundings with great interesting, fear was over rules by curiosity as he passed a structure with strange symbols on it into the open grounds of what ever this place was. The scent of twolegs was stale barely even detectable, but it was there and so was the flag waving defiantly atop the stick that held it up. At the sound of Shadepup's voice Apache smiled, before frowning when Silver was flattened by an animal-like thing. He watched as Lightning bit it in curiousity before asking what it was. "I don't know." he said, gripping the soft thing in his mouth and dragging it off of Silverpup, "But I have to agree with Windlcan pup, this place is rather cool."

Panting she hopped up and scampered a few feet back. "Thanks, Apache!" She said dipping her head in thanks. Then looking at the stale old rides. The structures twisted rose and fell large dens held different faded colors and shapes. The rotten stench of two legs tickled her nose as she snorted.

Russetpup walked over to Rain, a little wary of this new place. "This is new...." he muttered, looking up at the huge snake that seemed supported in the air. "Wonder what this place is...." He smelled twolegs and started. Stop it, Russet. It's musty, they must not have been here for a while.

Shadepup turned to Apachepaw, "I know right!"

Rainpup pushed him a bit and smiled. "Don't be afraid." She looked around. and scampered off a bit looking and sniffing around.

"I'm not afraid!" Russetpup retorted, watching her explore. "Just cautious, that's all. Being cautious didn't hurt anyone." He walked forward, gingerly scenting one of the stripy dens. He pawed it curiously, feeling the material to be tough and unlike anything he had touched before.

Featherpup padded through the entrance and rushed over to her pack-mates. "What....is this place?" she asked, looking around the faded nests that looked like the flag. She crept silently over to where Russetpup stood near one of the strange dens. She reached out and pawed at the nest, its thick and course wall wiggling loosely under her paw. "How odd..." she wondered out loud.

Russetpup turned, to see Featherpup. "I don't know," he replied. "It doesn't seem natural, like rabbit fur or some other material."

(Being as magical as I am, I shall hop in the RP like a baws.)

The leader had somehow appeared in this really spooky place, though she had no clue what this was. It involved scary twoleg stuff, which she really had no intention of knowing what. Walking in and sniffing the air, Lilystar came to a conclusion as this place had contained twolegs; though now all that was left was this set. Looking around now, she noticed several of the wolves back at home, and many other sets that had stuff left over as well. Shrugging, the leader kept exploring.

Snowpaw padded into the spooky place, he looked around, he had no idea what any of this stuff was, he spotted Silverpup and walked over to her, "what is this place?" he asked, he had never seen anything like it before. An eerie feeling crept over him, something was.... wrong about this place, but he couldn't quite figure out what it was.

"I'm not quite sure but its kinda strange!" She said shuffling to his side. The objects had a rusted creaky look and the dens could be full of surprises. Then looking back over her shoulder "hey do you think we should go explore alone..?" In a soft whisper making sure no one else heard her.

Walks around, the ground feeling unstable, whispers," Hello?"

Shadepup was still ranting and talking about how the carnival was really cool.

"I wonder how the Two-legs create this kind of stuff," Featherpup said. "It's definatly not natural though,"

Squirrel snarled at the object, to learn that it wasn't alive. He relaxed and strode off.

Magmapup saw Squirrelpup snarling and laughed. Of course these things weren't alive, he thought. He strode a bit further into the carnival.
